I think people use the word 'Illuminati' referring to a bunch of non-existing guys who control the world, not the actual Illuminati.

Accidents are going to happen.   The issue is learning from the accident.  Drilling has come a long way, since first introduced.  They, BP better learn something from this.

Think about it...
The movie and the real life events were NOT identical.

In the movie, it looks like the drilling platform survived... I also don't believe I heard anything in the movie about oil leaking into the gulf.

Also... think about it for a second...
If you were to think up a situation for a movie where an oil rig was to explode... where would you likely place that rig? 
I'd place it in probably one of the most oil rich areas of water... The Gulf.

I call this coincidence... nothing more.

It's standard tactics by the rulers(illuminati) to put their plans in plain view before they actually pull off the deed, remember the episode in the lone gunmen show,  a remote controlled plane goes straight for the trade center towers, a few months later it happens for real. The techniqe is called foreshadowing.

I've always had this theory that psychics with access to enough energy could make an event happen by placing it in the planet's information field - similar to the way astrology works as people are mentally affected by cosmic energy streams - and this would cause people to receive a hypnotic suggestion such as "fly planes into buildings" and an outline of how to do it. In effect, several disconnected organizations would carry out the plan for their own reasons (one to attack the US, one to start a police state, etc) not realizing they're acting on a suggestion from an external source. And the real coordinators remain hidden as the event takes place - they don't even have to be on the planet. The side-effect would be many random people having dreams and foresights about the planned event, also resulting in movies inspired by the suggestion.
