Maybe she should have read this first.  If the News service called her first, how did they know the challenge had been issued?  I have the sneaking suspicion the R. folks told the news service first, to force her to accept it, or to say she chickened out.

It seems to me more that:

1. JREF are the ones seeking publicity.
2. JREF want their cake and to eat it too. (They offer a challenge but want to use their own "biased" and "unobjective" testing standards.. ie. pseudo-science)

Has he published the conditions under which the test would be performed? With so much posturing, blustering and fatuousness involved, I'm not surprised that psychics or spiritualist mediums simply turn their collective backs on the negativity. If he's directing it at celebrity psychics, who doubtless have six- or seven-figure incomes, anyway, his $1 million incentive might be less temptation than we perceive is to be.
