I have heard that charging ones 3rd eye chakra before and OBE is very benificial.

Anyone ever done this before having an OBE then found it very benificial? can you tell the difference between an OBE when your 3rd eye chakra has been charged then an OBE when it hasnt?

Not only the 3rd eye, activating all your chakras should improve the oobe significantly.

Chakras are energy centers and are always active and work in conjunction with each other. Focusing awareness on a chakra can make it more active than normal. Many believe that all your chakras should stay in balance and you shouldn't spend more time on one than another unless it's for balancing reasons.
