Hi, im new to the forums, and somewhat new to OBE's and AP's as well
Anyways i decided the other night i would try to achieve some sort of OBE
The setting took place in my room at night, so it was very dark. I relaxed my body in my bed, by focusing on each part of my body, until i felt like i was almost floating. Or another way to put it is..i couldn't feel my bed anymore.
Then just as i couldnt feel anything, i felt vibes or "waves" pulsing through my body. And i felt some sort of pressure towards the middle of my forhead and the "blackness" that your supposed to see..began to look like the ceiling of my room. Now i wasn't sure i my eyes were open or not because my body couldnt move. Now even through all of this i started breathing very heavily and i started to get a bit scared. My heart was pounding against my chest. And to even add to this..i know this is going to sound funny. but i started to feel abit aroused..almost like an orgasm. I know this is kind of ridiculous, but i have no other way of explaining it. So i got to the point where i needed to know if this was really happening so i forced myself to wake up and i eventually calmed myself.
If anyone has any comments as to what might have happened or could explain to me how i can control this, i would love to know.

Yes, all of this is part of a preexit experience. Sometimes the base chakra gets overexcited and it strobes, and an orgasm (or sexual stimulation) happens. Your heart beating was probably your heart chakra also activating to produce or channel your projectable double. What would have come next if you would have kept your level of trance, would have been an exit technique to externalize the double.
Of course, if you clicked out (and by your symptoms it's possible) then these could have also been reentry sensations, which are almost identical to exit sensations, except you wake up in the end.
A few things can help you get control- energy work to control your sensations and to know what to expect (to avoid the bewildered 'snapping out of it' and meditation work to keep yourself in trance to get to the right state for projection, and exit techniques to know what to do when it's time and it's not necessarily happening by itself for you.
