I saw them too! As I got older, I realized several things: I was looking for them in the first place! I expected the darkness to be a place of surprises. And I had a notion of what a surprise was, maybe, someone popping up and saying "boo!" I admit I was terrified!!!!
I also realized in later life, that if I send out a thought wave, it may collide with a similar thoughtwave and surface together like a click switch, the picture comes on! We have INFINITE CHANNELS. Some of you have a satellite dish for you TV? We as spirits (in bodies too) have this infinite capability of accessing anything into infinity. Literally everything. This is a THOUGHT UNIVERSE! Most of us are going to look at one thing or one picture or one field at a time. Some of us are going to shift altitude or frequency to see MORE of the picture, etc.
As for beings out there, I don't know how real they are until I fully experience them. So, I LOOK into them. I direct my FULL attention into them. I make sure I am NOT AFRAID! Otherwise, I would run or shut down the channel! Or worse.
There was this interesting experience I had when a friend complained about an unwanted visitor in her home. I was like 2000 miles away via a chat room, just hearing her out. From my seat at the pc, I decided to address that being in her home, whatever that may be. I treated it as an intelligent being, or a sentient being, with no agenda. I instead treated it with LOVE and WARMTH. I let it feel WELCOME, with my current reasoning that NO ONE likes the feeling of ever being UNWELCOME. All beings being alike in many respects. All creatures responding to LOVE, even your enemy LOVES at home, his kids, etc. SO, I defied convention of being fearful or feeling I need to nix out negative beings. I just gave that being the right to LIFE. In doing that in within moments, I was bathed in the most incredible form of ecstasy throughout my body, that I gasped! WOW! Maybe that being did not feel love for so long! Like that old puppy dying to get out of the pet store window littered with shredded newspaper. FREEDOM! Someone LOVES! To this day, when someone tells me someone just died, I now attempt to LOOK, and I always get bathed in this ecstasy! WOW! It is really wonderful. Try it! It is a union of spirits! Pure LOVE! It doesn't match anything physical here on earth, I tell you!
Why would we suppose someone is ugly, unwelcome, etc. when we don't know or give that being the benefit of the doubt? Wouldn't we like strangers to give us a chance when we encounter them for directions in a strange city? Other beings feel, just like we do! We are all about love, we are made from love, existence was created from love.
We hate something? we are due for a good nightmare when it lurks around. So, why hate?
I think beauty is really in the eye of the beholder. If something is really ugly, let it be an opportunity to figure out who we are to proclaim something is ugly. What is ugly, what does ugly mean? How about defining the word? It is a good exercise. Is death ugly? Is the body returning to dust ugly? Is your favorite pet in its grave ugly? Or you really understand that your pet was just released back into the spiritual realm and no longer requires the use of the physical vehicle? It really depends on how you look at the bigger picture. The bigger picture is really OUTSIDE YOUR BODY, OUTSIDE THE PHYSICAL! All this idea about disintegration being "ugly" makes one think twice.
You probably have had many bodies decay before this one you got!
And you probably visited some people in between lives, and were you welcome and did you hope for welcome treatment? It is time we change how we look at things.
Perspective! From the other side! YOU are that spirit too! Those black things at foot of your bed could have been your old akashic college buddies checking up on you. Huh?
Check to be sure! Don't flinch next time! They want to talk to you. Be receptive.
