So I was starting to project last night and usually I am in darkness when it's happening... But I breathe in and it feels as if I expand then I breathe out and it feels like I shrink in closer to my physical body... And it's annoying cause it feels as if I can't get away from my body.... But last night I tried NOT breathing and it was odd because it felt like I was shooting away from my body, and I could hear my physical body breathing with out me, then I heard astral noises but I was back and awake! Aghhh, I can't get away from my body... Any suggestions?

If you think of your body when out you WILL return to it. Its a common problem with beginners and can be prevented by being occupied with what you see or want to do while there.

Perhaps try to not focus on your breathing at all. For me, any more of distraction will keep me from leaving my body even if its being aware of my breathing. It can be very frustrating cause its hard to ignore.

When I first started I thought that I would stop breathing when leaving my body. Doesn't work that way though. Keep practicing!  smiley
