Change in energy body appearance

Hello all, I'm new here, so first of all, thanks for having me!

I hope someone can kindly shed some light on this - I have projected many times over the years, & "my" appearance has ranged from the way I (physically)looked as a teenager, to a fluctuating representation of my present appearance, to a ball of purplish light. 

But the last few times I've been out,  the form is different from anything I've seen before - the "body" seems flat, but not one-dimensional; the colour is creme-soda greenish, but with shimmerings of silver light.  There is little or no control, & I remember little of 'where" I've been or what I've done. "I" seem to go instantly from one place to another, with no in-between sense of movement. There is usually a sense of having been taught something important, but I don't remember what.

A lady who I greatly respect in these matters,  says I may be using the mental body nowadays, but I was under the impression that the mental body was an oval shape.  So I suppose I am asking for a "second opinion".

I realise the classification doesn't really matter much, but I would like to gain better control of this new shape, & recall of where I have been in it.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Advice from any adepts here would really be much appreciated!

Hi and welcome to the pulse.
If your awareness isnt near a high potential your interpretation of the immediate environment will be  biased by your subconscious. How its generated is not totally controlled by you and can appear somewhat strange leaving many a bemused expression. This surreal view usually triggers a more active state of mind creating the concious awareness required for gaining control of the environment and then you can go 'strutting your stuff'.
You may gain better lucidity by learning the deepening techniques as this will enable you to stay longer with more clarity.
The shape of the energy body can be changed by a mere thought so worry not. Its possible to be anything you can imagine, taking on that form which best serves the interest at hand.
Not being able to remember is still an issue we all have. Been there worn that t shirt, its the hardest thing to completely master. Sometimes you can and others you think you were out and thats all you remember.

Sounds cool! The only thing I can add is that as said above we carry a subconscious interpretation of how we should appear, but as our awareness of our spirit grows then the need for a physical form starts to fall away.

 I can remember times moving through the astral as just an invisible field of awareness, with no recognisable body and other times wearing clothes etc and other times just as colourd light...so maybe your experiencing your own subtle/but not so subtle lol energy. Maybe mediate upon the question and see if you can receive guidance, but im fairly sure its the above.
