Hey. I been trying to contact my guides for a while now on getting help on astral projecting. If I can meet them... etc. I have even done EVP sessions asking for their assistance and I usually pick up some words but can't make anything out of it because it's very difficult to hear. Do I maybe not have any guides? This may sound silly... But I wrote a note and taped it to my wall saying "Guides? Pops? (Grandpa) Grandma? If I successfully have an OBE tonight will you meet me outside my room? See you on the other side.
" I had some crazy dreams last night and alot of them didn't even make sense. In fact I can't remember most of them. Alot of them have been semi violent as well. :/ I simply just wish to see my guide or guides but I can't seem to get through to them. I have really bad anxiety and such, and sometimes I think I make them upset? Is that even possible? I sleep in alot and get depressed sometimes and keep promising myself to get out of bed and get out and go do stuff. I don't always do that though... I still really struggle. I will often cuss and swear, and talk to myself and shout random things with my touretts. Does this upset my guides you think? I cannot control it and I am sure they understand. Do they know who I am? Not just by what the see... but who I am Inside? Know my feelings? etc? I just wish I could meet them. I can't seem to figure out why I can't get anything from them. I have had one OBE and I didn't see one entity. Except for a fish lol swimming on my carpet. Was this a guide? How do I talk to it? I saw an entity walk across my hall once when I was about to leave my body but I fell asleep. I also saw a man standing by my bed as I was about to project but yet again.... I fell asleep. Are they trying to help me get out of body and I just don't know it?

Hi Armyofone, hope you are well today, I empathise with both having low feelings and not wanting to get up etc I have been there a couple of times and also the urge to meet my guides in the past, ie whos there? why are they there, how can I see them etc. 10 years on and im a working medium giving people contact from the spirit word regularly.
Including some times guides who want to make the selves known to people they are working with. In my experience and its my belief that we all have guides of some nature, people who care about us and for different reasons wish to help. I know for a fact that people who love us and have shared times with us in our lives and have now moved to the spirit are about in a supportive and loving way, but NO, im sure you cant and wont upset them with anything you have mentioned.
Like I said the spirit world are drawn to us out of love and care and or if they wish to help us in a certain area of our life, whether that be a part of our physical/material life or part of our spiritual unfoldment.
If we remember that first and foremost we are spirit, an eternal spirit of endless potential. As we become more attuned to our own spirit by meditation to clear the mind, reduce our thinking and so allow our own stillness, beauty and power to shine through....which of course takes a little regular practice, (but well worth the journey) then we become aware of us, our spirit, who we really are. Once that happens our sensitivity to the spirit around us starts to awaken, so we might then sense feel, hear and see our friends and helpers. But we also then start to receive more intuition form our own spirit, through dreams, positive ideas, coincidences, we see messages reflected to us in nature and so on.
So our own spirt is really our greatest guide (people often call it our higher self) it knows who we are, what we want and whats right for us.
But make no mistake we have guides and helpers that are people totally separate from ourselves that come out of love and also im sure learn from their time helping us.
Im sure your guides (and im sure you have them ) will in their own way try and make them selves known to you and in a way that will work for you.
I wouldnt worry about it too much though, for me persoanly although I have the ability to see spirit people, one of my guides I work with the most ive never ever seen! I just hear him calls his name and speak to me...which i find quite funny, but im used to that now. I know nothing about him, but I know he helps.
Another never shows him self to me ever, but has confirmerd his presence through many mediums, why wont he just show him self to me?? lol i have no idea? and im sure he could. Another I just feel his energy and know its him. So we have to trust in their judgment of how they wish and choose to work with us, but if we want more proof just ask. Normally a calling card can be established, ie when a certain guide comes to you you might, feel an energy on your face or see a certain colour etc etc
One more thing, im sorry this is long lol. People talk about guides appearing in what ever form we can handle, which I believe is true, but also we have to remember that what ever form they might take on might bring a certain aspect you need in your life so...seeing a fish im sure wasnt a guide but it most probably was a a helper projecting the image of a fish to you in order to say just "relax go with the flow" If we have a guide who comes as a monk then perhaps we have a need to become more disciplined or search for god etc etc or it could be a farmer or a young girl...what might that character bring that we need at that time.
I used to also think that we often see guides as spritual teachers becuase like them to be monks and native American Indians etc but not so excited when our guides a road sweeper or fisherman lol...but come on lets be sensible for a second...very spiritual people who have led very disciplined soul searching lives will undoubtedly wish to continue their good work form the spirit side of life and encourage others, so that's why I believe we should not be surprised at this. We might even just experience them as light.
Try and spend time in nature my friend if you dont already and find some good relaxing mediation techniques that you enjoy and im sure that will help you...think this is my longest post ever! lol regards x
