I'm putting this in OBE/AP experiences because this timer can induce Lucid Dreams as well as the mind awake/body asleep state that is ideal for OBE/AP. I made this Lucid Dream timer based on the Saltcube/Lucidology Timer. This uses the alarmMP3 from their "Make Your Own Timer" stuff. Here's the megaupload link *removed the link to the huge file - uploaded it again, much smallerAnd I made it so you don't have to worry about the safety of downloading it, I promise I didn't put any viruses in it. lol

Downloading yours right now. I tried my "tweaked" one this morning... The spikes didn't wake me. LoL FAIL! I'll try yours tomorrow morning and see where it gets me. I think I need to make one that is annoyingly loud. LOL In any case, I'm uploading my tweaked one for others to download in the hopes it might work for them.

You can use an audio pillow: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Soundasleep-266888-Sound-Asleep-Pillow/dp/B000XS42RQ/

Because it doesn't have any binurals or anything behind it, you can set the levels based on the alarm time and won't be bothered by the binurals while trying to make the alarm loud enough. *omg 738mb did you mean to fit a regular cd? I'll dl it and try to make it a mp3 file
it's wav and i didn't compress it, my bad. i made it with audio production software. i'll try to compress it and upload it again. also, i just wear the headphones cause i sleep with my woman and don't wanna wake her up.

Got it, thanks, I'll try it tonight.
As for the "mp3 pillow", it seems much more confortable than earphones, does the sound come from a single speaker in the middle of it? Because if it came from two speakers on both sides, then certainly the whole room would hear it. People seem to like it, from what I've read. Their are a bit overpriced too, I'm considering building myself one.

I think there is only 1 speaker in the speaker pillow. I have one but have never tried it! I bought it for subliminal learning tapes. I s'pose you could just put a speaker under your pillow, but that probably wouldn't be too comfortable! But I suspect the speaker pillow is more comfortable than headphones!

Hey Personalreality. Is there another way I can access that timer file you made? I'd like to give it a try but I'm in Hong Kong and am not allowed access to where it's at.

Jarrod, You'd have to give him the web address for somewhere that he can upload it so you can download it.

Google "How to download megaupload in Hong Kong".
It's odd because from what I understand Megaupload was created in Hong Kong.
You have to use a proxy to do it, but it can still be difficult.
If you come across an upload site that I can upload to in the US and that you can download from in HK let me know and I'll upload it.

Its base 3 so the alarm goes off once to start (which allows you to set the proper volume) then 6,3,6,9,12,15,15,6 minutes.
I don't know if the directions are clear to everyone.
This timer is to be used as a supplement with the wake back to bed lucid dream/AP technique (or potentially wild). You wake yourself up with a normal alarm a few hours before you have to get up (I've been getting up at 5am). Depending on how easily you fall back to sleep you may or may not want to get up and move around for a few minutes but no more than an hour (I choose not to get up at all). When you go back to bed you put on your headphones or iPod dock or whatever and start the timer. You'll hear one cycle of the alarm and you use this first alarm to set your volume. Then just go back to sleep. I'm gonna rip of ron popeil and tell you to "Set it! And forget it!". Let the timer do the work. The principle is that the repeated awakenings will put your mind in a more awake and lucid state while your body remains asleep (mind awake body asleep anyone). The saltcube/lucidology people say that you will likely have a lucid dream around the first or second 15 minute alarm.
Good luck.

Hello! I've been counting on this method to have OBEs and lucid dreams but it is always not successful.
The main problem being that you must not move your body at all even after you are awaken by the alarm, but I always subconsciously move a little before I realised that I'm not supposed to, but it's too late.
Does it mean that once you moved somewhere during the playing of the timer, you would have to start the timer all over again?
Another thing I am unsure is the "roll over signal". What does 'roll over' mean? Is it the same as moving any part of your body?
