Xanth - When you try to think about what someone looks like, do you not see them in your mind? Or is it just words and concepts that come up to describe them? That's something I can't wrap my head around, as I get an image of the person. If I want to think about what their hair looks like, I imagine it and see it. Is this really that far out-there?

Well... "see" as in how I'm physically seeing right now?  Nope.
"See" as in a perceive them... I can perceive exactly what they look like right down to what they're wearing. 
Like, if I want to think about what their hair looks like, I imagine it and "see" it too.  But not SEE see... I perceive it like I would recalling a memory.

I think we're using "see" and "perceive" in the same manner.
I think it's quite possibly we're talking about the same thing here, just with very different ideas about how to describe what "it" is.  LOL

it worked better last night  i was seeing a waterfall scene, i was looking at it and it expanded the water was getting faster then i used the rope method, and a figure was climbing up to the sky and then the scene  started moving like a rope, dose side to side. but then the scene faded.
