Then if it works, go in your new body and visit your old body to see if anyone is inhabiting it...

Astral or Etheric projection?  If you are talking about someone's physical body, then you'd be in all likelyhood in etheric projection which is the typical floating over your body and /or seeing the physical surroundings in real or near real time.  Astral projection is a higher level and the qualities of such experience are mystical, thought can affect change there and AP are often mistaken for 'vivid dreams' - also sound and color are much more vivid there, adding to the mystical qualities.  Everything there is a 'copy' of and not actual physical objects,... well, actually its the other way around, things here are copies of what's there.  (as above so below)

Ghosts that take over clairvoyants are earth bound... which I take as a synonym to mean in etheric form (the etheric body is usually cast off a short time after physical death because really, the etheric body is part of the physical - it's the 'vital body' that keeps the physical living) But in ghosts, these people have not cast off the etheric and are stuck here.  I have heard of cases where a clairvoyant allowed a spirit to enter their body in order to communicate but it's not easy, on the clairvoyant or the spirit, and complete trust on the part of the clairvoyant is required.

Why are you so concerned about learning to enter someone else's body anyway?  If you have never projected before I'd suggest learning to do that first and then think about such things... which even if possible, I consider to be very immoral - unless you have their permission to do it.

This is only true when you start projecting.  Your mind has the preconceived notion that 'you can't be in two (or more) places at the same time'- but all your subtle bodies are, and your consciousness usually sequentializes what is too much for it and you remember it as a linear happening.  That is why things like precog dreams also happen- the mind can't process 'here' and 'there' at the same time and shows you 'later' in a dream.   But existence is holographic, not linear.
If you project a lot and your mind learns to accept data that it has had to reject or reassemble previously, you start to experience projection as it really happens- all at the same time.  As you get better at it and you learn to handle more, your perception is able to handle more, and it expands.  I remember people in this forum report having two and three different simultaneous points of view (I can only do two).  Once again, the only way to know if this is true is by practicing projection, and doing it for some time.
You don't have to believe me or anyone else- just see for yourself.

Again, I'll at least first try to get in Etheric Projection and see for myself.

guys, what you need to know is when someone gets to the level of projecting, it means that they have reached a high level of evolution, so he/she will not get involved in bettings and challenges.  In other words, people AP for their personal spiritual advancement - not to prove what they can do to others.  The latter is about ego.

I can confirm that there are very highly advanced APers on this site.  But they will not get involved in your betting games.

If you want to learn, ask them, listen, apply, practice and you'll get there.  And when you get there, you'll know what I mean.

This topic is too dangerous. We can discuss whether it's possible or not (I believe it's not possible) but trying it is simply too dangerous because: What if it really DOES work? What do you then? You'd have a new body, be a "new person". What do you do then? Maybe you'll never get your old body back...

The way I see it is unless people really want to swap lives and are were unhappy with who they were before they swapped then I guess they would agree but I cant really imagine many wanting to do such an extreme thing and if there is no permission and you steal someone elses body whilst there asleep or something then you'll face penalties i'm sure.
