Hi there Lief.  Wecome to the board.

In my mind, the amount of experiences a person has doesn't constitute them as an "Astral regular" as you so put it.  In my mind, the way a person can control their thoughts and handle their experiences in the astral is what makes them a regular.   I feel this way because the word "regular" denotes something that is familiar to someone (ex. a routine, a ritual, etc).  One can't be too familiar with this other worldy diminsion if all of their experiences consist of fumbling around in your bedroom.

Just my 2 cents!

hi jeff

good answer i guess.  i wasnt trying to make any point about how many ive had, just curious, as I see a lot of people here posting about their first OBE or trying for their first... i bet theres a lot out there that if you stop and think about it should just about be astral gold card members.

If you want to fumble around the bedroom, go for it Smiley You'll learn a lot about you and your relationship to your regular body (and how hard it can be to move away from it hehe).  but, if you decide to venture out, WOWEE.

One thing I would love to do, or have rather, is a encounter on the astral.  most of my OBE are into RTZ.  i want to talk to an astral being or find my guide.  i suppose it'll show when I am ready.

welcome! I also consider myself a fumbler in the dark. Interesting about falling and going through the ground-the old folktale  says if you fall and hit in your dreams you die. I also have had a lucid dream of falling-at the bottom I bounced!

Liefmichael,
Welcome to the forum, I'm sure you add much to the group! http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_approve.gif" border=0>

Ralph,
I bounced too ... that was a hoot!  Diving of a cliff, landing on my back and bouncing back up and onto my feet ... my own personal Matrix-like dream!http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_cool.gif" border=0>

Glad you "bounced back" too! http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_tongue.gif" border=0>

Cheers!

what i actually left out as it seemed hard to explain:

i fell down (about three storeys) through the ground
then...
i fell down (about three storeys) through the ground...
was like it replayed again, wasnt ready for the second time, the first time i had prepared myself for whatever happened when i hit.

Hi Lief,

I've had a ton of OBE's, but I am just now starting attempts to make contact with a guide or astral entity which I can learn from (much in the same way that Frank has done with his guide, Harath).

I only hope that the next time I get out (which should be soon), that I don't become distracted by something stupid, like, "Hey, I can walk through walls!"  It always amazes me that little thoughts like this creep into my experience.  Before I know it, I'm acting like a little kid again and my desire to find my guide has taken a backseat!

Hi everyone, my name is lief.  For a long time now I have been trying to register so i can post here, nearly a year now i guess but have never been able to load the registration page?
I have been studying AP and OBEs for a few years now, I have had nearly 25 I think.  (rough estimate, first time Ive tried to count them)
At what point are you classed as an astral regular?
My first time was after I read the treatise on astral projection (or something along that line) by Mr Bruce.   I could understand a lot of what he said, and it seemed straight forward.  I tried for a few days and then I got the paralysis and noises.  The noises turned out to be my biggest stumbling block, my fear.  I learned to become more of a "passive observer" in this stage of the OBE, just wait and relax!  Once you reach the vibration point just hang on for the ride.  My first projection was when I rolled out of my body.  I rolled over for some reason and fell out of bed, or floated to the floor rather.  too much excitement and I got sucked back in and woke up a few times (happens a lot, you get used to it) and celebrated!  i dont know what the general concensus (sp?) on this board is about crystals, but I have found they were a great help at the start, whether they were a mental crutch or not.  (hematite, herkimer diamond and howlite - the h thing is a coincidence btw)
i quite often project from a ld, my most recent was when i leapt off a building, fell THROUGH the ground with a wierd noise and woosh im out.  as soon as i realise im dreaming i can project 90% of the time.  i can pretty much choose when to project, (using progressive relaxation method, no rope or movement or anything).
Well, theres a few of you out there that I have followed the posts of, thx for this great forum! (fitting many posts into one here, makes up for the last year or two)
I dont know if you guys want to hear some more of my experiences but let me know!
peace
Lief
