haha... I like it.

You can find them... whether it's them you actually find is another matter.

I wanted to see my dog once and did. He was exactly the same as Towzer exactly. Was a beautiful experience. I came away from it battling myself though. I was thinking... If this was Towzer... how lovely. But the other thought was if it wasn't.... so what?

He was so real and so undeniably him that it didn't matter either way.

Obviously he was a dog and didn't have a large fan base so was probably open to the public for strokes and stuff.  wink

Well, as Tom Campbell says... do you think these people are just hanging out in the non-physical waiting for people to meet and have chats with them?

... probably not.  Wink

You can, however, interact with them through what he refers to as the historical database.  Which is an account of everything that has happened, or could have happened as well.
Some call it the Akashic Records.  Really easy to access, easier than most even realize... just go non-physical and start asking questions.  Smiley

I met one guy I had some questions for. He's the late Floyd.Sweet.
It was.a while back and my reception was agressive. He'd already been told of my visit and had.agreed too.
I've never met such a grumpy soul, he deliberately ignored my questions saying he'd had enough of this evil place and why should he now help. I was shown some pictures that were a total shambles to remember, however at the time they made perfect sense. I was also told I'd not remember much as it was his wish. I can't and that's so frustrating. I said I'd be back once I learned more. I recall an image of a grin with 'no you wont' hidden inside.
I've not tried out of respect.
A brilliant mind within, maybe one day I'll be invited back.

There is a photo and you tube video of Jimmy Hendrix's ghost , the photo is by his grave , as best I can remember . He did die from a drug over dose at a young age . He could be earth trapped thinking he is still alive .    desert rat

Bedeekin, I don't blame you coming away from a situation like that battling yourself. I would have the exact same situation. Trying to decipher if you re-connected with the actually conscious roaming soul of your dog, or the dogma of it being a non-physical replication/representative/non-real? With people and animals close to us I feel we would be a priority in being seen in some way? It's like the heaven thing, I don't like the idea of meeting representations of what they stood for in my mind/life Sad I want to see the person I KNEW! Their soul the same way I see and feel them here! Not the representation! So I sympathize with your situation, that would keep me up at night.

Xanth, nice talking to you as well you cat picture haunts me to this day. I have not broken through but I have thought about these types of situations my whole life, my analytical mind knows that people aren't just waiting in the non-physical to be talked with. But say could I find them in their current incarnation? In whatever dimension it may be?

I read a post about a remote view on google way back, not sure if it was honest or subconscious rendering on the man part. But he was told to look for Buddha and he saw him in a ship, some sort of galactic leader of some sort. It was well told and very enticing. Well written but I couldn't tell if he was being honest/or seeing what the real buddha was really doing.

I've had the chance to do past life regressions and such, being I studied hypnosis and NLP obsessively since I was 16. A very useful tool, but fairly invasive so I tend to hold back unless someone wants to go balls to the wall. Past life regression is pretty gnarly in person vs the way you hear it in books. Being my in-experience with AP I'm sure it's the same way.

It was one of you that said before something about "You can read all you want about how to drive a car, but you know nothing about how it works until you're behind the wheel."  I liked that reference.

Szaxx, what you said is how I'd feel it would be most similar too... but I'm all talk until I walk with you guys  tongue

Hello desert-rat  grin it's like you guys are celebrities and I went from reading about you guys in TIME to kicking it with you guys and sharing drinks and knowledge. It's pretty exciting  grin

I tried finding that picture but I couldn't :/              Would it be over presumptuous to think that Hendrix's next incarnation would have some predisposed skill to playing guitar? And taking huge amounts of lsd.  grin            Experience and prodigies have to stem from something right?

I've read about "where" Hitler is two times in literature or online. I quickly looked them up now. As always, judgement about contents and source is yours, still I find it interesting - most of all since both sources state more or less the same (although one can argue that the stated facts were a little obvious), maybe for some people it's even 'controversial' (regarding the second quote about a 'not so damaged soul'):

Quote
11.7 Questioner: Can you tell us what happened to Adolf [Hitler]?

Ra: I am Ra. The mind/body/spirit complex known Adolf is at this time in an healing process in the middle astral planes of your spherical force field. This entity was greatly confused and, although aware of the circumstance of change in vibratory level associated with the cessation of the chemical body complex, nevertheless, needed a great deal of care.
Source: The channelled RA-Material: http://www.lawofone.info/results.php?q=Hitler

Quote
To give an example of how damaged these souls are that come to the "hospital," in your plane there was one called Adolph Hitler. He was not sent to the hospital because his soul was not that damaged. He was sent ot he learning portion of the plane, the retreat. (...)
Source: Dolores Cannon (past life regressionist): "Between Death And Life" pages 123 ff.
read onwards from here on googlebooks: http://books.google.de/books?id=qTYKqCNSz-AC&pg=PA123&lpg=PA123&dq=%22in+your+plane+there+was+one+called+Adolph+Hitler%22&source=bl&ots=uOcwPeQTxY&sig=OGxFZf2jPDaMqJBHUl6nSMH4Ix4&hl=de&sa=X&ei=KFjpUP75FKOJ4gSk9IGYAQ&ved=0CDEQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=%22in%20your%20plane%20there%20was%20one%20called%20Adolph%20Hitler%22&f=false

As you can see there are a number of opinions of what happens to souls which we (those of us still alive and full of physical bias) deem to be monstrous.

In the end, it really doesn't matter what happens to them after their physical life.  It's honestly none of our business... anyone who believes it's their business should ask themselves why they're asking the question.  They'll probably find a very large ego-based-answer.

A lot of people want to believe that these "monsters" are going to be punished upon their physical demise.  I personally don't think this is even remotely the case... sure, the consciousness that was Hitler will probably self-judge himself to some extent, but I can't imagine there's any kind of punishment that goes along with it, other than (as Tom would say), his entropy vastly increased while he was here.  THAT is the punishment... the system doesn't get to evolve.

To us physically alive and biased folks here... the idea that the system doesn't get to evolve because of his actions is a meaningless consequence.  WE WANT HIM TO BURN BURN BURN!  Right?  Cause he was obviously evil in our eyes.  <-- That's a largely ego-based-reaction.

I hope that can potentially answer some questions.  Being able to see the larger picture of reality helps a lot, but in the end... the only answer of "where is so-and-so" is a meaningless question with a meaningless answer, because it doesn't really matter.

I guess that's exactly corroborated by the two links given by me above. Also by e.g. Michael Newton's work on live-between-lives regression, confirmed again by Monroe's / Moen's / Campbell's and other 'projectors' explorations.

There is no punishment. No hell. There is understanding and assistance given to work through your problems you had and how to make it better and what to work on next time.

i have found this to be true as well. Especially recently during a well known event, that I don't wish to elaborate on.

I was told that Punishment and Hell are Human terms, Human labels and that the person in each case will have to come with terms of what occurred on their own. That there is no Hell and in that I guess there couldn't be a Heaven either.

 There is just there!

On Hitler , and hell , I would think it would depond on personal beliefs .  There may be some karma involved also .  I dont think there is a hell in the Christan sense , but one , or more created by thoes that believe in it , as we discussed a few months ago.  http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_out_of_body_experiences/hell2-t37080.0.html      I see Hitler on an astral plane with fellow Natzs .  On the old t.v. show twighlight zone there was a show where a u boat capt. had to re live his sanking  a ship over and over , and re live the terror they felt as his sub sank it .  I guess it is possible Hitler could be reliving some thing like this . Christ , and Buddha are teaching others on different parts of the astral plane , Hendrix , he is in a purpple haze .     desert rat

Xanth, sometimes I enjoy the simple elegance of curiosity. I don't have some swollen ego hell bent on their outcome. It's not quiet a matter of being meaningful or meaningless. Sorry if that was sharp, my mother talks like you.

I hope to have more meaningful conversations on the subject because it is fascinating.

I dont know if it is my view , just a writer's idea of punishment .  On the old t.v. show the night gallerey ( 1970s) a hippie died , his hell was to be forced to watch other peoples slide show of there vacations .  desert rat

Stillwater recently posted this in a PM to me. It has so much revelence to soooooooooo many conversations here on the Astral Pulse Forums and any internet discussions in general, that I must post it here.

So much of communication between people is in tone of voice, and in facial expressions; I find there are a lot of misunderstandings on the pulse where both parties are really thinking the same thing, but interpet one another as having opposing views. So much communication between people is on an emotional level, and it is hard to do that with just text. Emoticons don't nearly cut it.

My reply to desert-rat is a perfect example of this!  smiley

Rod Serling wrote many of the twilight zone shows , he would be interesting to meet up with in the astral , I dont know if he wrote the show with u boat capt. that had to re live his sinking of a merchant ship .  I dont think he wrote any of the night gallery shows. Many people enjoyed vacation slide shows ( until slides were replaced with modern tec.) I saw that show around 40 years ago , I still remember the hippie using the words bad scene and bummer at having to watch the slide shows for ever .  I guess its the fact that to him watching the slides was boring that made it his hell . desert rat

This was relayed to me as though it's 100% real. I have no idea if it is, but it's interesting:

There was a very religious Christian man who died and ended up in a Christian heaven belief-system. And to him, it was great. They went to church everyday and sang hymns and ate good food, and it was loving and grand. His guide kept an eye on him and tried communicating with him, but the guy's beliefs wouldn't let the communication happen. After some time, he started questioning his heaven. It was still good, but something wasn't quite right. He wasn't completely fulfilled and didn't know what it was. As he began to question it more and more, he started hearing his guide. At first he tried to ignore it, but eventually he had to listen.

And of course, he questioned what he heard and wondered if he wasn't being lied to. Eventually, his guide talked him into coming with him and told him he would take him somewhere better. He ended up at a huge desert with nothing in it. Just sand and sky that went on forever. He was told to pass through the desert to get there. So he mustered up his courage and went forward... and forward... and kept going and going further than he'd ever been... and eventually it all faded away and he surrendered himself to the higher truth.

He immediately realized there was no desert to pass through, it was in him, and pushing past his fear and beliefs was the real challenge.

Something I read in this thread made me want to share that, but I don't remember what it was. Take it for whatever it's worth.  tongue
