Hi everyone,

For some years now I have had spontaneous sleep paralysis that just seems to occur whenever it feels like it. It is only in these past couple of months that I have made the link with OBE and AP. I have had two projections that were somewhat dreamlike and only controllable to a certain extent, and I had originally past them off as dreams brought about by recent interest in AP, (until the advice of this community put me straight). The problem is that I haven't had fully conscious SP for sometime now. Does anybody know of a way to induce this? Or should I just go with the flow and wait??
huh

Thanks.

While I don't believe you can "INDUCE" sleep paralysis... you can set the stage so that there's a greater chance of it to naturally occur.  Smiley

First, have a nap about 3 - 4 hours before your normal time for going to bed.  Nap for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours.  This should get you through a sleep cycle or two.  Then, get up and go about your normal business until your normal bedtime.  At which point, you go to sleep as you normally would!

This should give you a greater chance of waking up in the middle of the night in sleep paralysis.

If it doesn't, then you'll have to play with the timing a bit.  Nap for a full 2 hours... or maybe just 1/2 hour to 1 hour.  Perhaps you might have to stay up later or go to bed earlier.

Point is that everyone is different so you might have to play around with the timings a bit.  Smiley

I Always have Sleep Paraylisis In The mornings. It's when I wake up, I want to go back to sleep, But Instead I just Keep my mind awake, but Don't move. Then it happens. Ussually, when I try to get out of sleep paraylisis, I Fall Asleep xD. But Morning is the best time!

Edit: Also, When I Wake Up, ussually, I had an awesome dream, and I want to think about it. So when I wake up I close my eye's and start remembering it...Time flys past me, Next Thing I Know I Get This Weird Sensation And Soon Find My Self Unable To Move. That's Just A Tip FOr "Keeping Your Mind Awake"

I'm not a pro or anything, but I can share with you something that has helped me.  Most people who have experienced perminant ear damage will hear a high pitch ringing in their ear, espeacially when it is very quite.  What I used to do was focus on that high pitch ringing.  Trying to make it louder, and louder.  Then eventually the vibrations would take over me and I would become paralyzed.  Again this has worked for me and i'm not sure if it will work for anyone else.

Good luck!

I have induced physical paralysis manually and i have also induced a similiar but different state that I call the "plastic doll state" (your limbs and teeth feel foreign and like plastic).

Paralysis occurs in the last phase of projection, as i understand it. When the etheric body expands to such a state where the physical body releases it, an exit-sequence will occur of which bodily paralysis is part of, prior to "the vibrations".

In order to induce an OBE you activate your energy body by focusing on your body, limb by limb. I recommend not exceeding 30-45 minutes per attempt to avoid falling asleep or growing frustration.

kind regards,

Paul
