Books tainted with religion like to scare you. You cant die in OBE because you need a body to die. Your body just goes to sleep here.

They can't kill you buy they may leach energy from you.  As far as I know nothing can kill your soul.  Just think happy thoughts.

Lots of the books have their own views on OBE, and ones with a taint of religon will try and scare you in the process. Your soul cannot be harmed, nor your body. The worst that can happen is that you will be scared by a harmless creature that makes itself look big. Walking to it and saying "BOO!" will make it run like a little girl (No offense to the little girls out there) and your astral body, if attacked will just auto-throw you back to your physical body. Also, the leaching of energy isn't much to worry about. If you have read as much as you claim, counter-measures and different other wards work well.

Attempting AP will have a profound effect on your spiritual beleifs, I will say that. I know 4 people that became agnostic after I had them attempt minor AP related skills, such as inducing a lucid dream. They were skeptics but now like the idea of AP, but at the same time, they aren't too happy with sitting in boredom at church on Sundays.

Hey all im kinda new to OBE but ive read about 25 books about it and I think im ready to try it... but the only problem is that all of the books were different and explained about the whole deal of demonic figures and death tunnle of light. Im not sure what to belive so thats y im asking help from other people who have experiance... Ive read about how the demonic figures are only suppose to scare the excrement out of u but cant hurt u in any way is this true? Could i die in a OBE? ill look for updates and i have AIM (punkrazza)>name and any help is helful! plz need some advice.
