Hey, my first time posting on a forum like this. I would like to know if anyone else has similar experiences as me. Sorry if this post becomes lengthy.

During normal sleep paralysis, I would wake up in the morning. There was a loud noise in my head that sounded like when the TV channel goes out. And I couldn't move my body. I would feel something, like a force, trying to pull my body out through my crown. I always fought it because it was a terrifying thing. I decided not to be scared and I started to relax into it when it would happen. A few times I came out of my body. Once I floated around my room and the other time, I went through the wall, entered some other place, met up with some "people" and we did some things.

More recently, the experience has changed though. I wake up to a small buzzing sound. It's no longer the really loud noise that I used to have. I have the same feeling of floating but it's more gentle. When I relax and let it happen, it does. I don't have to do anything but lay there and I come out. So I start flying around my room. Sometimes I go into other rooms. Sometimes I go outside to the front yard or back yard.

After a little while, things get weird. I've read that distortions are normal in RTZ, but these are major distortions. Events that I know are not really happening and they usually knock me out of my experience.

Let me tell you what happened this morning. I had two experiences. The first one happened around 4 am. I woke up the same way with the noise and all that. Then I floated out and went through my wall to the back yard. I decided for some reason to go to Walmart. So I started going down the road in a bumper car (my main method of travel because when I fly too fast I get this overwhelming adrenaline feeling in my stomach that feels like attack of the butterflies and I hate it). And I got to Walmart, got out and went in the front door. The greeter at the door greeted me and my experience started to fade, like I was losing connection or something. Later, it didn't make sense that the greeter would even be able to see me.

Then around 7, I floated out again and went through the front door. I was going to explore some unknown part of my neighborhood so I could verify it later. A little girl was near my door and she was bothering me to play with her. I didn't want to lose the experience so I tried to get rid of her nicely. I went back inside and she followed me so I got annoyed and came back to my body.

Some other times I've had experiences where my husband was up doing this or that and I know for fact he's asleep next me.

I know I'm coming out of my body. I can feel it. But these things that are happening are so weird. What is this? Is this how RTZ is or is this something else? I don't feel like I'm making these things happen. It's more like I stumble upon these weird situations.

I have noticed something. As soon as I see something weird and I think to myself, "Is this real" and I begin to doubt my reality, I can feel the connection to my physical body strengthen and I start to lose consciousness of my energy body or whatever it is. Almost like the fact that I'm doubting whether or not it's real, makes it less real to me. So things are only as real as we believe them to be?

This sounds like a classic RTZ exit. Any thoughts you have will manifest and doubts will return you to normality. This is the physical so try to accept what you see. There are reality fluctuations and these can be simple things or something totally new and unexpected.
You seem to have some knowledge on this and that certainly helps.
Your experiences would help us to know more.
Anyway welcome to the Pulse.

So you also see things like this in RTZ? I have OBEs about as often as I want to have them. For the last several days, I've had at least one a day. What do I do to stay conscious when everything gets weird? All I can think of is to convince myself that what I'm seeing is my reality at this moment and get passed it.

Hey fussywuzzy...

"fuzzywuzzy was a man?"  cheesy film reference... maybe you chose this name because of it... I digress.

Welcome...

First of all your noticing of the SP becoming more gentle as you progress. This is the general course of things.

How accurate RTZ is portrayed is seemingly dependant upon how focused you are. I began having OOBEs when I was 11 and for many years all my experiences were RTZ and as normal as normal can be... people were where they were supposed to be and everything was 100% correct. As I got older and my subconscious mind began filling up with the general responsibilities of adulthood the RTZ projections started becoming muddled and skewed. Suddenly the environments became more surreal, dream-like in logic and characters/entities started talking to me. Eventually I stopped worrying and began focusing on exploring this new unfolded or maybe unravelled reality. I can still achieve RTZ projection but not for long and I will quickly phase into what we term the 'astral'... or NPMR - nonphysical matter reality.

So all in all you are experiencing nonphysical 'projection'. Everything is as it should be.

This is again absolutely normal. It makes utter sense. Now you project again... you should proceed with confidence and jus observe. Enjoy it... and try communicating with the 'people' that latch onto you. Things like this tend to be for a reason. Go with it... and let it happen. All the while maintain a focus of intent and keep yourself anchored within the nonphysical by being 'into' where you are and what's going on. Smiley

Thank you both for helping me have more confidence in my experiences.

That makes sense. I lose my anchor to the energy body because I'm no longer interested in what I'm seeing. So do projections usually last for a shorter time in RTZ than in astral? Like you can stay in the astral longer?

I've only been in the astral once or twice. All of my other projections are RTZ. Another thing I've noticed is that sometimes I do things that I wouldn't normally do. Like why did I go to Walmart? I go there enough in my physical body. Once I tried to pull my husband out of his body. Like I just wasn't thinking if this is a good idea or not. I just yanked at his arm and pulled up. I didn't see a body in front of me, but I felt a lot of static in the air front of me. Later I wondered why did I try to do that!

Initially everything was exact, no reality fluctuations at all. I could go where I wanted to and thought it a normal nocturnal activity. For sime years this continued.
I started at 4 years old before I started school. It wasn't until I was around 9 that things changed. Today nearly 50 years later things have progressed and the RTZ is difficult to get to. There's always something requiring help.
Its good to know you can exit the physical easily, there are lots of members here that would want to speak with you.

@Bedeekin That's actually why I chose the name.

So eventually everyone progresses to a point where they go to the astral instead of RTZ? Maybe RTZ is like a school where you learn how to navigate and control your energy body and how to control your thoughts before you get to the astral? I don't feel like I have much control over myself at the time. Like I said, I tried to yank my husband out of his body without even considering his freewill (he doesn't believe in this stuff and doesn't even like hearing about it).

Pretty much identical to Szaxx there bar the age difference...  smiley

I would recommend trying to not see it as an 'energy' body... only for the reason that any metaphor you place upon reasons for 'being' in the nonphysical will become manifest. As soon as you attribute an 'energy' you will begin feeling the need for requiring or losing energy... and this will be another 'crux' to overcome or become embroiled in. It's up to you though... I am just going on my own experiences and that I never used an 'energy' metaphor.. yet I read a lot about people seeming to need it.

You will find that you do things you wouldn't normally think of doing. This is part of the experience. I was just posting about this recently.

See No Evil, Hear No Evil?

I think it may be a young thing. Not sure. I haven't read of many RTZ projectors on here.. only Szaxx and I think Contenteo... I may be wrong.

His free will may have not been compromised.

I once rolled over and plunged my hand into my girlfriend's head... so I needn't worry.  grin

I was just using the term "energy body" for lack of a better term. I think as long as I can keep myself focused and stop trying to detach from these weird situations, I'll be able to stay longer. What's the longest any of you have stayed in RTZ? What's your method for getting to the astral from RTZ? It's so nice to talk to people who don't think I'm crazy or schizo. You guys have helped me a lot. I can't wait to OBE again, which will likely be tomorrow morning unless I choose to do it tonight.

I personally think the astral is the natural progression from RTZ... as in it naturally turns into it.

Hi, fuzzywuzzy. RTZ projections do become rarer for whatever reasons. I think most people just get bored with them and would rather go to Mars and meet aliens from Neptune while watching a game of intergalactic hyper-ball.

Don't worry about your husband's free will in your OOBE's. He "leaves" everynight when he dreams anyways. If you could pull him out, he would most likely just appear drunk and spaced out so he wouldn't be any fun anyways.

It's a shame that some people are so close minded but can you really blame them? We've been conditioned to believe that this stuff is nothing more than a dream and it's crazy to believe otherwise. That's true but what's a dream?

I'm glad you found the pulse.

At 5, I pulled a friend away from his body. He was unconscious and floating above it. I dragged him through the house walls and sort of awakened him in the field behind my garden. We used to play there. He was lethargic but remembered it. He told his parents and I was banned from going near any of them.
I can imagine what his parents must have thought when I was confronted and told them what was in their house. I never went upstairs in the physical. Witchcraft and demon ... ( it was in the 1960's)
Keep it to yourself, a few people get somewhat upset. It's not their thing and leave it at that.

Wow. That's actually pretty funny. They had no way to discredit you then. I'm like most of you. Started having OBEs at a young age and I never knew what they were. I still had no idea what they were up until about 2 years ago. I only talked about it a few times with my husband and then I let it go. He doesn't want to subscribe to a belief system and I don't want to freak him out either. Oh well. If he suddenly become fascinated with it one day, at least I'll be there to yank him out and go places. Most people don't have that opportunity. He doesn't know what he's choosing to pass up.

In the meantime, you can continue fascinating him with your amazing insights. Eventually, he'll have to wonder why this is so and possibly peak his curiosity enough to ask you some questions. People are more open when they personally bring up the subject so it doesn't feel as if we are pushing a belief onto them.

Welcome! You had me rolling with the bumper car thing. xD Genius! Bumper car to walmart!

I've only recently started "leaving my body", though even if I find myself in my room, there are usually some differences. Or more often than not, it's a completely different version. Maybe that's because I'm in my mid 20s? Who knows. I'd be interested in checking out the RTZ without differences, but at the same time, what I have is pretty exciting already.

I don't know why I just thought of this, but I remember when I was really little, I realized that I was asleep so I went to my neighborhood. Everything was exactly the same. I was so excited, I decided to do what I always wanted to do while awake but couldn't. I rode my bike to my neighbor's house to hold their turtles. I went there and they told me as usual that I couldn't, but I knew I was asleep so I literally jedi mind powered them into letting me. Man, that was great! I remember being so proud of myself, haha! xD

I guess that's the only thing I can think of though...

Now, I do have a lot of false awakenings which are exact duplicates of this world. I never even realize I'm asleep until a rood takes me somewhere else or sometimes I can distinguish I had a false awakening if something happened that I can verify never happened, such as a friend coming over or seeing someone awake who wasn't awake. That could be out of expectation.

OOBE are associated with too many belief systems probably. There's that and the fact that mainstream thinks were all nuts for thinking anything more than just a dream is happening. From my experience, that's usually a good indicator.

Okay lol. I see. There were no real differences for me either when I was that young, but at the same time I didn't "come out" that much to see.

Give it ten years without fear and see what you are capable of knowing.

I don't really have much fear to be honest. I realize that nothing can really harm me. So far, I've had a few "entities" try to scare me, but it didn't work for them. I say "entities" because they were probably manifestations of my own thoughts. The last time I had an OBE and a dark hooded "something" was walking into my room but I didn't let it bother me and it disappeared.

I will say this though, I'm still afraid of heights in the astral. Not as afraid, but still some fear. When you fly really fast, do you get the same feeling as me? It feels like huge butterflies in your stomach. That is what I don't like. When I float around, there's no problem. It's only when I go up high too fast.

Good addition, without fear. I dont really have any while out, I've eradicated them by a head on approach. Face em and learn. 10 years is a good point to look back from. Nearly 50 is amazing, don't know why its not taught at schools. Lol.

Sorry fuzzywuzzy, I was directing that at myself actually because I am a prime example of how fear and preformed beliefs can stunt your growth while having OOBEs, even for years.

There are plenty of miserable entities but none have the "power" to affect you unless you let them, which you seem to already no this. The really bad scary ones are always from ourselves.
