anyways, the girl who writes there has a theory about electromagnetism and astral projection. long story short she puts magnets above her bed hanging over her or something along those lines. Apparently she has great results. I have heard some theories about the same thing here. wondering if we should set up an experiment with some controls?

Is everyone scared of magnets or something? Or have you never heard of the magnetic theories?

Why do they tell you to face north when you project?

I've heard of things like that, but there isn't much verifiable proof other than a few people that say it helps them. Personally, I don't want to AP bad enough to decorate my bed with magnets. If I can't do it with willpower alone and laying down in any direction I feel, I'll pass.

It is ALWAYS good to experiment because you will never know the answer..

But honestly, I really liked Ann Varnes (Astral Voyage) web site and author the books she wrote on AP. Getting back to the premise of the subject, I done a lot of testing with sleep positions (n,s,e,w), food, exercise, pyramids, crystals, dunking my head under water open eyes, you name it... Like Stookie said, it all comes down to is will power and nothing more.

With the magnets and energy, it is possible. I know that there have been experiments performed with a Canadian professor/scientist Michael Persinger that subjects will wear a helmet labeled "The God Helmet" and are exposed to magnetic fields. Most of them about 80% state they have a feeling,prescence behind their physical bodies..

Enough said that there has been some real interesting experiments done in the past. But really it comes down to  you doing the work vs. listening to others. Make sure you do EVERYTHING in a safe environment and following all rules.
