I was laying in bed thinking about God, and I believe I fell asleep for a little bit, then woke up, went back to sleep, and as I was falling asleep my right arm started vibrating, now what is scary is I felt it going up, being pulled up towards my ceiling, it was just my arm that was vibrating, I tried to stay relaxed but at that point I knew nothing about astral projection and lucid dreaming( what is the difference btw? I read a book that says they're the same thing)

Another experience was a dream scene of my grandmas house, we were sitting on the floor of the kitchen really closely, laughing, the laughter got louder and louder and eventually I started hearing a REALLY loud buzzing noise that I tried to stand but then I think I focused on it too much and it brought me out.

I never really left my body yet, I try every night, but I fall asleep. :\

Any advice? (this is before bed, I read there is a better time to do it, for example after 4 hours of sleep) is this true?

Let me know whats up guys !

Hey man!

First of all I believe dream... Lucid dream, and an out of body experience all have their similarities but it's all about level of consciousness. Forexample in a dream, you are unaware of being aware. (I had a dream a few nights ago two squirrels were throwing acorns at me lol.) I wasn't realizing I was dreaming... I was just dreaming. I do believe though that you create your dreams environment etc... but just do it unaware. It's hard to explain... I hope I am making sense. I watched a video last night that really helped me on this. Now a Lucid dream would be where you are dreaming, and then you all of sudden become aware in your dream... "hey... I am dreaming!" Usually when I get to this stage I can feel my body start to vibrate etc... Then I can focus on leaving my body. (highest level of awareness during sleep.) I believe... I am still all new at this myself. To answer your question on that... I think they are all in the same "category" but it's all about awareness. I find myself able to leave my body some nights only to fall back into dream mode 5 seconds later because my physical body went to sleep. (working on this.)

The good news is you are experiencing the basic symptoms of leaving your body. The vibrations... Your arm going up was most likely your astral arm, but the rest of your astral body was not yet out. Just remember all of these things you will experience can't hurt you. Keep at it! I had a full blown OBE only once. It lasted about fifteen minutes and let me tell you it was amazing. All I did was walk around my house, but it was as real as this. I literally watched my body sleep. I also floated across my hallway. I felt like Bruce Lee or something! I have been close on many occasions but failed them. It all takes practice. Intent is huge too. All the times I left my body I really just focused on wanting to. It's as easy as that. The rest comes natural. You will figure it out, it's not as near as complicated as I am making it sound. huh

I find early afternoon is my best time for projection... About six hours of sleep and then a nap. Everyone is different though! Depending on your schedule etc. Keep trying different things and see what works for you.

I hope that helped! Let me know if you need help on anything or have any questions. But, I gotta tell you there are ALOT more people on here who have been doing this alot longer than me and have had more success as well. So DEFINITELY listen to what they have to say. Like I said I am still pretty new at this. There are some good folks on here.

Take care Quench

They are both astral experiences.
