Has anyone been sore after an OBE or failed attempt to exit? I've been sore after most of them. Usually that's what I use to confirm that I had an OBE and not a dream. I think it might be related to chakras because the soreness isn't muscle soreness, since I fall asleep with no soreness and the soreness disappears about 15 minutes after I wake up from an OBE. I'm not sure though. Has anyone experienced this?

Most people confirm that it is not normal to have those sensations, but i often do as well. I sometimes feel nauseous and sort of uncomfortable. Could be you just getting used to it.

An intense OBE consumes energy. I also often feel tired and disoriented after a full fledged OBE. Dryness in mouth and general weakness.

This is one of the unexplainables, after all you were just laying there motionless, no hard work.
I can't say what causes such energy drain but it can be regained easily by a good diet and long sleep. It eases with time (and so does OBE sensations). Do not try everyday, have long pauses. This also improves lucidity.
