I'm not sure if anyone has watched this, but I thought it might provide some entertainment for you all. I don't know if this guy has actually ever projected or not, but he has quite an intense and negative view on the subject. I only made it through the first 10 minutes before I got fed up and that took effort so proceed with caution  cool

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrlfPSNKy9M

My experiences projecting/phasing have personally led me to be more open minded to the concept of god/oneness of the universe. I can't relate in the least to this guy. I'm curious to know your thoughts on this in conjunction with coping with matters of dogma, especially from our Christians that we have here (whom are thankfully much more open-minded than this fellow). Perhaps he's just had a bad experience, but he claims to be able to project 1 out of 3 times. With a record like that I would think he would have had an opposite reaction. This has just kind of baffled me!

Projecting isn't evil.  >_<

Once you begin to figure things out, you'll quickly find that it's actually as normal and natural as breathing.
It's a part of who and what you are.  You're consciousness.  Your consciousness is projecting into this physical reality right now.

He's terrified by whats coming out of his own mind and assuming that it is an objective truth. The sect of Christianity to which he appears to subscribe is a very literal and earthly minded sect ( creationist and literalist) I honestly didn't listen to the entire thing. As a Christian I feel bad for people like this and worse for the victims of abuse the runs rampent in those churches. I used to believe this. This is where I came from and if I can change they can too. Most of the theology is fear based. If fear can be overcome then real growth can begin. If he is really able to phase into spirit and he has genuine belief he will eventually find the truth.

I will watch it a bit later , but there is  a bunch of this kind of stuff on you tube .  There is one with a comp. gen voice put out by a church group , saying how evil a.p. is , how it leads one in to gay astral sex ,sin , damnation , ( other b.s.)  ect.   I may be able to find it and post the link if asked, if any one hear really wants to watch more of this .
p.s. I could only watch a minute of this , its def. from a fear based belief system .

He said that the way you know that you're experiencing the true God is if you experience overwhelming life-changing love.  I would agree.  I experience exactly that in 1 out of 3 projections.  So...I guess he disproved his own theory about AP being evil  -to me and anyone else that experiences the overwhelming love in their projections.  Too bad he didn't keep going long enough to get off the ground floor.

What he doesn't understand is that it's not PROJECTING that's evil.  The 'evil' is falling prey to the temptation that will be presented to you while you are projecting.  There IS temptation to think of yourself as better than everyone else if you can do it.  You CAN get a huge ego if you let yourself.  You CAN be tempted to develop your power for selfish gain.  You can fall prey to all those same ego traps in the physical as well.  It's not the NP that's the bad guy.  It's all about being the person that YOU decide to be.  Good or evil - right or left hand path.  YOU choose, and the person that you decide to be in the physical is the person you will be in the NPR as well.

I dont think he knows that we all go out of body during deep sleep . This guy is of a closed minded fear based belief system .  On Jesus , and what he said , its hard to know what was taken out of the Bible at the council of Nicia in 329 a.d.

Also, keep in mind that everyone has their own unique journey to travel.  This guy, like everyone else, will have their own perception and interpretation of the reality they are experiencing around their self.  I'm sure he feels he's doing his duty to serve others.  That of course is the ego at play.  But the information one presents based on their experiences is and will always be relative to the individual presenting that information because that information is assimilated from his own unique experiences.  In other words, it's just information.  It can either be explored or tossed aside.  For myself, from what I did watch, I pretty much tossed everything he said aside, LOL.  But it was still somewhat fascinating to observe his own interpretation of this natural event.  Each individual has their own unique perspectives and perceptions that are limited exclusively to that individual.  While the video can be quite entertaining to watch, there is absolutely nothing right or wrong with his perspective, because they belong to him, and he is the one who must learn from them in his own way.

And even though his view on astral projection may conflict with what astral projecting actually is, his view is still necessary and appropriate for him because again that is the path and journey he has chosen to travel upon.  Sometimes when I go hiking through the woods I like to go on a different path than everyone else, which is usually no clear cut path at all, and I'm squeezing through a bunch of bushes and shrubs just to see what appears in the clearing.  wink

I had the exact same thought when I watched it. Fear mongerer was the first thing that popped into my head. The sad thing is there are people that will wholeheartedly believe him and then always be afraid to explore consciousness and find their own answers; a sin if ever there was one.

And honestly, that's 100% fine.  It simply means they're not in a place spiritually to move past fear.
Those people probably shouldn't explore the non-physical as they're too based in Fear and not enough in Love.  Simply put, they won't have a good time.

I suppose that's true enough. I doubt anything anyone says could help another with that anyhow. More of something you have to come to terms with on your own.

I'm not even going to look at this video. We all have a choice what we let into our consciousness. If you are generally positive and want to project that positiveness outward, words like 'evil' should not have any meaning for you. Or at least it wont resonate with you. When I let any information in to my existence, I analyse it by how it makes me feel. If there's doubt or an uneasy feeling then I discard it. If the feeling is good or exciting or has a nice resonant feeling, then I consider it's validity. I'm not saying that good information is truth, but worth keeping an open mind about it's possibilty.

I don't want to be preachy but don't ever bow down to fear. Fear is something we create. And how much attention and energy has this guy had now a few if us have watched it!

This thinking is so prevalent today because in the 16th century the 'Sola scriptura'  (bible alone) doctrine was invented by the protestant reformers.  It means that the bible is THE only authority in life.  These conservative Christians will never look INSIDE themselves for anything  (in fact the self is considered evil because there is a bible scripture that says as much)  They will only look OUTSIDE themselves to their sole authority - the bible.

Their whole argument is based on 2 or 3 scriptures in the bible that say  -stay away from magicians, necromancers, seers etc.   That's it!  It's all they've got to go on -but because it's in the bible, it's authority.

In the same way you can lead a horse to water...

Exactly.  Smiley

People need to make the big jumps entirely on their own if it's to have any lasting effect upon their consciousness.

the thing is the bible doesnt condem astral travel. in fact youread about st Pauls little trip in Corinthians  and John if Patamos had lenthy stay. I can citeseveral off the top of my head Its never addressed as being sin and accounts are accepted as scripture . the fear comes from church culture. Not scripture
I heard it condemed from the pulpit but from what I can rememberbthe support was rather arbitrary at best

The bible doesn't condemn astral travel (it's not mentioned ) but it does condemn other occult practices, so people include it in the list. (sorcery necromancy divination mediumship etc.)

Most consevative Christians I know say that paul and john's experiences were ok because God initiated them. But if people induce their own OBEs then they have crossed the line into above territory.

Many take the bible at face value and don't look for a true or deeper meaning.

Controversly most of the AP's are not induced by spell or scorcery as it was known in the scriptural times. The scorcery involved evoking the dead and demons. It's not talking about meditation ( contimplation) which starts the AP
I doubt it would be considered an occult practice. Even in the early to middle age Catholic church you read about saints going into extacy.  This is an astral projection. There were several of them that practiced this right in the middle of church. Prophets were also said to do this. So the bible does not address this as an occult practice or sorcery. But instead there is a long tradition which extends into church history even to modern day.

It's a lack of knowledge of what the bible is talking about and what was done in the culture and it is ignorance of our own history.  It is strictly a church culture thing that has no support outside that particular sect.

To keep things in context all you need to to is to go back 100 years and listen.
Typical conversation between two,
"What takes your fancy?"
"I'd like a gay day."
The modern connotations are seemingly unpleasant BUT in reality one wants to have a nice day.
The modern impression is akin to the attitude of the church don't you think?
How old is the bible and what language was it written in?
Too many areas of misconception for me.lol

I think there is a lot of wisdom there but with the understanding of where it came from and what it meant to the people who wrote it

I didn't know meditating was evil... Are Buddhists Demons?

Seriously though, in Eastern Christianity they have forms of "christian meditation" and prayer it'self could be deemed another form of meditating.

I just find this guy so frustrating...

I think that anyone is free to think whatever he wants... But they shouldn't try to indoctrinate others.
Most people who fear what we do everyday are just not ready for it. Their spirit still has a lot to learn.
They are not conscious of the world that surrounds them, and that this has been going on for millenniums.
They never thought that AP'ing was evil or anything, until someone has put this in their heads.
I know how sects are, one of my friend was in one of them and they used to put cocaine in their drinks and food to make them believe everything they said.
Maybe this one is not that kind, but it's generally the same process they actually lie to themselves until they actually believe it and then they stomp down theses ideas in your brain until it's anchored there.
It last for a while... until that person realize it's just a load of crap.
I was watching the comments on the first videos and they're nuts, the guy was actually trying to convince someone who was having bad AP experience that it was evil, until someone told that person that there was nothing to fear.
Fear can be a gateway for so many people to manipulate you... it's sad.
