Summon, fight, why are you going to the Astral to battle? It is such a beautiful place, leave the wars here in the physical.

Honestly, I'm with Lionheart.

Think about it for a second... what "strength" are you referring to?  You have no physical body when you're non-physical... strength is a meaningless word.
Most "physical reality ideas" are completely meaningless in the non-physical.

Things like "fighting"... "strength"... they have no meaning outside this physical reality.

Conversations...
Now THAT sounds like a much better use of your non-physical time.  I'd stick with that.  Smiley

Only "battle" when it is called for. Don't create it. You want to be a solution not a problem. There are already tons of battles going on in the realm but calling one in for your amusement? No, i disagree. So many beautiful places to visit, so many beautiful things to see. Enjoy it, don't destroy it.

most of the time i am thrown in to alot of the battles there. maby we all have our places in the asteral. the point of this was not to get critisized on what i do with my time there.. the question was does anyone summon anything to get info train ect.. and the reason i came apon this friend/helper was cuz i wated to meet something that would give me a challange..

so for all you peacefull guys out there. how do you defend yourself. white light does not work all the time.. and you might conjure wepons and such.. but if you dont practice doing theses things it could back fire on you.. and when something hits you and ruins your ap moment cuz you couldent fend it off and you come back to your body. then that was a wast of time for you on there..

as for me when i first started i had no guidence. did not have this forum. i have been doing ap for a long time. when it first started happening. i had no control. and i would get hit with lots of negs. so yes it was very scary.. but when you are young and connot contral when and how your going to ap, you learn to protect yourself. and yes i did have a bad child hood with lots of negativity.. and as i got better at it, things changed a bit.. i was helped while out and was told this will be a continuing thing so be ready... i have been aping for ever but last 11 years is when it has really come to geather... im not bashing people who do not fight, you have a diff agenda then i.. but he is some info i guess on why this happens and what i do it.. so just read it dont pash is cuz it wont change. and i like it.. and i train for it. i have helped alot of things and places on the asteral. i am not a bad guy just randomly attacking. but i like a good challange. you dont learn from winning all the time... so just answer the questuion if you summon somthineg for help waht do you summon and waht is he like or she or what.. just interesed in what others do not interested in waht people think i should be doing.

I think you have a good thing going and the suggestions for a more pacifistic approach to the inner realms are misguided. A little sparring can hone one's skill level on a variety of levels. A young man just getting started in building his own life here on Earth will naturally encounter obstacles and difficulty. It comes with the territory. The Inner Realms naturally reflect the outer, physical circumstances and situations.

This Universe of Duality comes with conflict built-in. Those in denial about this are not doing themselves or anyone else any favors by trying to perpetuate the falsehood. Evil is only an illusion to the degree that this entire Universe of Duality is an illusion. But the number of humans with the effective operational ability to live beyond illusion is exceedingly small so I think this deception about negativity not being real is actually counter-productive.

Freedom is not free.

How do you defend yourself? I don't go looking for trouble, hence no need to defend myself. Remember in the Astral thought equals action. It has everything to do with intent. If I find myself in a situation I don't like, I just end the session. Plain and simple!

well I find myself waking up in a dream not really controlling the experience still at this point. I have friends that I call if I'm in a situation. I cultivate the friendships even when I'm not in astral both for spiritual development to develop control and help if I get into a spot.

I simply don't understand the need to "fight" in the non-physical...

What exactly do you think you're doing?  "HURTING" something?

For the people who enjoy "fighting" in the non-physical... let me ask you something: What is your goal for "fighting"?

Yes, it is clear that you do not understand.

It is not necessarily a "fight" so much as it is a struggle. It certainly has nothing to do with "hurting" anything. (The fact that this is what you project onto the scenario might be worth a little future introspection).

Non-physical, for most projectors is not non-duality.

Anyone with an ambitious goal will inevitably encounter resistance and conflict will arise naturally for those moving forward and making progress.

Those wasting their lives satisfied with the status quo and lacking the motivation to improve their condition may never come to understand this. Many fall into this condition as soon as a resting point in life can be found. I think the Monroe description of how most Souls incarnate into planet Earth and discover that they have bitten off wayyyy more than they can chew, is truly what we see most often.

I don't believe in the astral stuff...period.  To me it is all fiddlestick.  The so-called OOBEs have more to do with lucid dreaming than anything else.  The environment we encounter upon a perceived separation from the body could be the conscious mind's last attempt to make sense of the dissociative experience.

well I find myself waking up in a dream not really controlling the experience still at this point. I have friends that I call if I'm in a situation. I cultivate the friendships even when I'm not in astral both for spiritual development to develop control and help if I get into a spot.

When you "wake" up in a dream and you are lucid, you won't be able to control the situation until you believe that you can.  Expectation plays a big role.  Also, the are many techniques you can employ to make the environment as realistic as possible and to prolong your stay in the non-physical worlds.  It is as simple as that.  I recommend that you check out Stephen LaBerge, the grandaddy of lucid dreaming.  One more thing... your subconscious can exceed your expectations.  wink

so for all you peacefull guys out there. how do you defend yourself. white light does not work all the time.. and you might conjure wepons and such.. but if you dont practice doing theses things it could back fire on you.. and when something hits you and ruins your ap moment cuz you couldent fend it off and you come back to your body. then that was a wast of time for you on there..

LMAO! cheesy

I don't feel the need to defend myself the minute I know that my experience is not physical.  I simply believe that I am the invincible lord who shapes reality as he sees fit.  None of this summoning help and protect yourself nonsense.

By the way, if you return to the body...separate again!  grin
