when i close my eyes i see an eye

when i wash my face, i always see an image that looks like an eye

not like a photograph at all, just a closed-eye-visual image, it looks very animated (as far as a simple closed-eye-visual image goes) it's very clear and it amazes me every time, it might even be the reflection of my real eye when i close my eyes, i don't know.. it looks very suspicious to be honest, to me atleast

kind of like the "Horus" image.

does anyone else get this? or heard of this?

i posted it here because i want to know if it's related to anything psychic or paranormal even.

Yesterday when my eyes were closed i sow purple spot. Shape changed many times. Later shape became more like an eye, but i sow only the middle part of the eye. Latter i put my fingers on the eyes, and i sow them as blue and sides of fingers were purple.

Hello, I know this says my first post but its been years since I was last here!

I often see an eye when I meditate (early stages - saw it an hour ago whilst practicing). Always just the one, but not always human, usually a bird of prey if not and its usually the left eye. I see it as if it is imprinted/embossed onto the back of my eye lid and is usually a dark colour, purple I think.

I see alot of images this way - on my eyelids whether is light or dark out, especially multicolour, small, though highly detailed pictures (almost HD) that fade in then briefly out and they seem to move.

yes. in fact last month? i saw the eye of horus in a triangle. But basically everytime I close my eyes I have been seeing an eye staring back at me, or lots of eyes/faces. So your not alone on this one. Lets just go along for the ride.

I have the same experience...I see a single eye and I also fel like it is my eye.  Sometimes closed and always close up.  I sometimes  see different angles and details like eyelashes with clarity.  I don't remember this not being my exprience and thoughti t was common phenomena that had some physiological explanation. I have only recently started to ask around and this site is one of a very few places that I have seen a reference to " the eye."

I have been wondering the same thing for years!!!  My entire life, as far as I can remember, I see the eye, most of the time 2 eyes....I've always believed them to be mine, and thought everyone saw that when they closed their eyes...  A few years ago, it somehow came up, and I realized it was just me....and that perhaps I have some visual impairment.  Earlier this year, when I was putting my 7 year old to bed, he said "mommy, it's cool, I see my eyes when I close my eyes."  Perhaps it is a visual impairment, or the development of one, but I am a sensitive (very sensitive) and can now see auras and feel vibrations (it just started happening one day out of the blue and continued); and I can't help but wonder if it is somehow related?

This symbol tells you it is time for you to Awaken. It is an eye by many names, but in all thoughts it is about your next step in waking up.

I've experienced the same, too. It was three-four years ago. Sometimes, but rarely, similarly as Athymari, I've seen something like an animal eye. I've seen it not only when I close my eyes, but also if I've been looking at some monochromatic surface (wall, sky...).
At that time, due to some strange coincidences that happend to me, I had a filling (?) that I'm somehow connected or led through my life by (don't laugh!) - J. W. Goethe! A year ago, I've found this:

I've also had this experience  and its been 2 years and I'm still trying to explain it..  I'll post a blog about it below I made after I had this experience.  It was the closest I ever came still to this day to astral projection..

I finally after years of trying have felt the vibes, or at least I think I was. But it happened backward of how most people have it.

I was dreaming and usually I am very awake in dreams, I can remember them very well, but I have no power over controlling them no matter how hard I try. It seems I am completely content in my dream world which continues and has a life of its own.

But this time I seemed to remember that in my dream I was following my usual patterns, sitting on the computer etc, but then I realized that there was no roof on the house and I liked to watch the stars. I'll skip most of the dream material, but there came a point in my dream where I remembered that I have been trying and wanting to have an OBE for so long, and I have never been able to even get vibes.

Then poof I'm partially awake, at least I'm not sure I was awake. I was VERY deep, the most deep I've ever been or felt in my life, and only a tiny little piece of my actual conscious mind was there and all of a sudden I could feel this loud rushing noise. It was different than the rushing noise I thought I knew it was.

Sometimes on the cusp of sleep I can hear my ears vibrate and create a rushing sound, I can even induce this sound while awake. But in this case it was MUCH louder, and seemed to vibrate my whole body. It felt like my body was starting to turn into light particles of static electricity. The sound also reminded me a little bit of the sound in the new war of the worlds movie, that the big tall ships would make like a low trumpet.

Anyway, I immediately felt sleep paralysis, but also complete and utter terror for not feeling this way before. I felt fear so the effect started to go away, but then I told myself to calm down this is it!!!

So I relaxed and the effects came back on, and I tried to remember what I should be feeling if this truly is it. My heart seemed to be racing and I could feel my heart shakra FINALLY!! I heve have really felt it before, but it felt very small and focused and electical, like static electicity. I let the vibes come around me.

Keep in mind everything I'm describing happened in about 20 seconds.

But it was all so dark, like being in a black hole.. .OH YES I remember now!!! I could see the membrane, which I am able to see quite often actually. It usually is in the form of a little circle with a web like structure that spreads out. This time I was able to see what looked like an event horizon from a black hole type thing.

It was spinning and turning.

Eventually the membrane turned into a tunnel at the end of the tunnel was this real odd symbol which I couldn't see so I wanted to get closer and it slowly came closer to me. Everything was very BLACK and dark and you could barely see anything, but when it got closer I realized it was the eye of horus looking at me.

That old Egyptian symbol!! What the F???



After that I don't remember a thing.

I was with someone in the dream though and there is still some debate between my wife and I to whether I have a guide or not. I have never been able to meet my guide though there are some recurring characters in my dreams who feel familiar to me, though I dont know who they are. They usually are old friends from life.

Last night was a recurring guy with a shaved head somewhat short but in shape, who liked to do a lot of working out, and kept telling me that I should come with him to work out. Which is odd.

Anyway, I am not entirely sure if this was a dream or it really happened but it felt real enough to me. I had woken up and was trying to meditate at like 4am off and on for a good 2 hrs. I can't be sure if it was a dream or real, but it was DARK and this all was a feeling I'm pretty sure I've never had before.

But if you have to get that deeply relaxed to OBE I can see how I've been failing. This is so deep, I never make it half as deep as that was before. Probably due to mysleep apnea and restless legs which prevent me from good sleep.

Wow..

Anyone have an idea why I saw that symbol??

In my case, the image of an eye was perfectly clear, not in a symbolic shape. At the time when these visions were the most intensive, I've noticed two other phenomenon: observance of 11:11 and other „master numbers“ and „strange coincidences happening to me (months later, again through some strange coincidences, when I was already highly frustrated, I've found that C. G. Jung called them synchronicities).
One of the coincidences was that I've heard a song at the radio. I didn't know which song it is and I wanted to find out the name and the performer. Searching through the lyrics, I came to the song: Goo Goo Dolls, „Iris“. A Few days later, I borrowed a movie at video library: „Iris effect“. It tells a story about a mother, led by the iris „signs“, to her long lost son.
As the „eye vision“ continued, I started to search the internet about the eye symbology. The very first result I got was this one: http://www.crystalinks.com/eye.html -eye, 11:11 and Iris at the same page, telling something about the „DNA activation“, „opening of the third eye“, and "masonic eye".

Right I come across this material as well.  I'm also an 11:11'er as well as a few others I know.  It is funny how these patterns we recognize and are subconsciously able to put ourselves into the position to view these numbers.  I've managed to bump into other people who see the same things as well.

There are no coincidences we are being guided by some force... good or bad I don't know yet.  But my intention is for it to be good and I will make the right choice when the time comes to do GOOD and destroy evil. 

Problem is in this world one man's good is another's evil.

That's true about the good and evil. It seems to me that both are just a consequence of universal tendency for reaching a balance at the lowest energy level.
And about the coincidences... From my experience I can say that there are some instances in and around us that influences and direct our lives according to their own will. I doubt if men's "free will" has any influence on our life's path. C. G. Jung called these instances the archetypes, Vadim Zeland compared them in his "Transsurfing reality" with pendulums and ancient Greeks, Egyptians and American tribes called them gods.
