To build such a mind-blowing, vast machine and spend so much money (4.5 billion pounds apparently).... I do hope they actually find something, anything to justify that.
It would be very exciting if they find evidence of extra dimensions.

This is posted a day or two After the start up of the atom crusher SOOOooo if you can read this the world HAS Not ended and therefore things are not so bad.

Of course the LHC people are still searching (mostly in the dark for whatever they are searching for). CERN is likely to make chance discoveries that are unexpected and not what they wanted. My gut feeling about all of this is that the scientists at CERN are running towards a dead end YET WILL happen to discover something important by mere random chance. And that is, BTW, the history of science in a nutshell .... random discoveries that were not expected and yet, nonetheless, changed the course of history and the focus of science.

i guess that saying, "look for one thing, find another." is true...



i got scared for a second last night tbh...i was half awake, and heard a weird sound. then i started to feel weird and the room seemed a bit contorted. was like oh shizie...we're dieing...then i realized i was starting to AP or have an OBE. after i closed my eyes and felt a sinking feeling, vibrations, then the room felt like it was spinning.





oh...and if we do die, i guess i'll see some of you on the other side...where ever that is. . .
