Dinosaur Reincarnation

I was watching a dinosaur thing on the Discovery channel... it was about the last day of the dinosaurs and what scientists think happened.

Anyway, I got to thinking about the dinosaurs themselves... and their associated spirits.

My question is... do you think it's plausible that, perhaps, some of us lived back then as dinosaurs on the planet Earth? 
Reincarnation... could we reincarnate FROM a dinosaur?  Millions of years ago...
Could we have lived lives back then as a dinosaur?

What do you think?

Good Question but i really doubt it. Like Most people believe Once a Human Soul is Always a Human Soul.

There's a Difference between the Soul & Spirit. The "Soul" part of you is the divine aspect that moves on and ascends into whatever afterlife you believe in. While the "spirit" part of you is the energy that remains and connects you to the physical. It gets complicated really.

So while a Human "Soul" stays in there afterlife. There "spirit" is the one that re-incarnates or is being channelled by most humans. I've read in that a buddhist perspective Spirit Energy can Split like drops of water. Like Most people who will think they are the reincarnation of Cleopatra, or Abraham Lincoln. There could be multiple re-incarnations of that same person. It is believed. But at a "Soul" level they are still there own unique individual.

So While they might be Dinosaur Spirits residing somewhere in the astral, they would remain dinosaurs in essence. An Animal Soul Remains Animal. A Human Soul remains Human.

I would guess that animals have their own path of metaphysical evolution alongside humans. Maybe they reincarnated as birds and other reptiles and amphibians. But you never know.

I guess this is the same as asking whether we were chimps once. And still, I don't know.

Some say that we (our consciences) were created after someone (big old wise entity/conscience) took out a bit of their own conscience and dropped it here on Earth. At that time we were completely oblivious to all that happened around us and couldn't think straight at all. Little by little, reincarnating as different animals, we've become human beings. Our consciences evolved progressively. If this is right, then yes, we might have been dinossaurs once!

I don't know if the giant creator thing is right either. But it makes the dinosaur theory work hehe

Personally speaking, I do believe we can choose to reincarnate back here as animals should we choose to do so.
For me, it's not really that big of a leap to say that I might have been a dinosaur in a previous life.

Next life, I think I'd like to be an eagle... >_>  LoL

I think so.  I think this is where all the 'dragon' mythology comes from.  Past life memories as them.

don't really have an opinion on reincarnation per se.  it seems rather idealistic to just assume that our physical lives are just a "grade in school", and a little "rose colored-glasses".  

nevertheless, i read recently that people don't see animals in the here-now (RTZ) because each species has it's own realm kind of thing.  the premise seems a little odd, but it could explain the "once a human, always a human" idea.  maybe our souls are specifically here for the human experience and nothing else?  or maybe we're bound to the realm we were born of kind of thing?  i don't know, just a thought.

there's another possibility:

deviating from "orthodox" bio-archeology, it might also be possible that we might have 'encountered' them in any pre-human form. fossils (so called ooparts) are claimed to have been found of human traces from dinosaur times, heavily debunked and negated by mainstream science of course, but often they cannot explain the ooparts (many of which cannot be proven to be fakes)

certainly, humans looked different then, if at all human, but who knows.. civilisations might have existed before and we have not trace of them
