Hi Guys
OK lets start with eternity imagine a ball expanding before you, now look at the edge of the ball as its getting bigger you don't look at where its been or where its going only on the expansion,as long as it keeps expanding this is how you can see forever and ever
Now the only thing to do in life is live the story's, and for ever and ever and ever has already happened you have already lived every story in every reality a billion times each, you used to be a dog a plant your own mother, again and again forever
so we now see eternity and that you are an expert because you have already done it all before
so what is meditation, in short it is simply shutting down your physical body so you can focus on the astral part of your mind.
but this is not necessary at all try this
can you see your self siting on the roof of the building your in with angel wings, can you do it right now? 99% of people can they can at least see something because its real or at least has been at some time in for ever and ever
you may say its imagination but what is imagination, its an energetic reality within your mind, and your mind is a vast sphere that covers all of life
if you can "imagine" yourself sitting on the roof at the same time as your reading this on your computer then you are existing in two places at the same time and both reality's are "real" in time
if you want to look through a wall, you can use your imagination to connect you to the reality where you can see through it, by being in two places at once
you need to let go of the "truth" that the only real reality is the one that causes you pain and accept that every idea and every lie and every possible potential reality is "real"
you must be responsible when thinking like this because you may invent/or see reality's you don't like but there is nothing stopping you from pursuing reality's you do like
and all of this access to all reality's and all ideas can be done just simply by thinking the only difference between you and god is the thoughts you have
do you think god needs to lay down and go auummmmmmmmm for hours before he can work or do you think he just does it
imagination is from god so use it, it is the key to every door and as long as you can multy task you can like me live in the astral 24/7 at the same time as driving your physical life
TV and games entertain you but they get you used to not thinking, but when you read a book you can see it all
we all need to think more people we need to bi locate we need to be king of our own mind and manage consciousness ,don't make the excuse you don't have much time to do this or that because that's rubbish
you can save the world while brushing your teeth or taking a dump, you just need to open your mind and stop limiting yourself to what has past

Other than a very different approach to definitions of a few choice words you use... very well put. I can see your metaphors in relation to my own clearly.

Interesting input, but maybe you don't realize then many have different views on what meditation really is. I was hiking in the Lasal National Forest yesterday. You could say I was doing some "soul searching", and was really looking to connect with the source of all things-experience a connectivity with the universe. Is this not meditating? Who says you have to sit in a corner and close your eyes and think of complete nothing to meditate? Okay a lot of people do, but it's complete BS.

You don't have to do anything period. It all depends on what you want to accomplish. There a so many different benefits from meditation, like stress relief, honing mind/concentration, creativity, solving problems, accessing memories and the subconscious... and I could go on forever. Not only that, but if you know what you're doing, it feels great and you directly benefit from it everyday and you won't be able to find a reason NOT to do it.
Granted it's not necessary to AP, but it'll definitely help in the long run.
