I have suffered from Emetophobia (fear of vomiting) since the tender age of three, and it has been controlling my life.  I'm doing as much as I can to stop worrying, but in the end, I feel like the anxiety is keeping me trapped, even though I know getting rid of anxiety is as easy as letting go.

I think I need a little spiritual healing to help me through this.  Help me learn to let go of the fear!

Dear AstralNo0B,

I think the solution is going to the root cause.

Many phobias come from past life experiences. Regression therapies (hypnosis) can get the victim back to the original event and this facing of it will usually resolve the problem.

One could only imagine the afterlife effects of world war 1 soldiers dying of poison gas, vomiting up their own organs.

I hate nausea. I got it myself today again after taking an overdose of MMS and I've had experiences with nausea much worse than vomiting - nausea with being unable to vomit out! It would get me close to banging my head against the wall if that continues for hours as it did once.

 I totally agree with Tiny, many issues are from past-lives and acknowledging that, could be enough to lessen it.  You could also try meditating on it, asking to see the reason why your are inflicted with and this could help with your subconscious to give you that extra nudge.

from a non mystical point of view (ie no past life stuff, not to say that's not helpful)

you can create a systematic desensitization situation for yourself.  common phobia treatment.

google it.

phobias can be reprogrammed.

I use EFT(Emotional-Freedom Technique).. google it or you can find it on youtube on the actual exercise
