I think that hell would be much more terrifying and unbearable if it was unbelievably cold instead of hot. maybe it's just me but I think being in a freezing environment is not only much deadlier but more uncomfortable than say a dessert. thoughts?

Extreme Heat vs. Extreme cold is a tough one. You should watch Man vs. Wild with Bear Grylls on the Discovery Channel. I have watched all 5 seasons and he spends time in both the extreme heat and cold and they both are very bad.

that's too bad maybe I should learn to enjoy both equally and convince my self that something I enjoy is completely terrible. although I haven't seen many episodes of man vs wild, it is a very interesting show.

I'm not a religious person (like, at all) but are you actually preparing yourself for hell? Wouldn't it be easier to, oh, I don't know, pray or something?!?! Seems relatively pointless when most religions offer forgiveness right when you ask for it

Personally, i find intense heat way more painful then intense cold. I guess it has something to do with where you live, if you live on the north pole you are more sensitive to heat

Dear folks,
strangely I used to ask myself this question aswell.
I came to the conclusion that real hell is freezing. It is better to have it too warm than too cold for some reason. So the real hell in terms of physical pain is in freezing, not in burning.
peace

Don't you think doing any one thing for ETERNITY would be hell, no matter what it is?

Immortality would be my hell... especially in the current world.

hell doesnt exsist in the terms used in religions...the only hell i see is the world we live in and the surrounding environment.....
basicall we are in hell and when we die we are giving either peace, or death.
by peace, i mean continuity of exsistence and love and all that BS.
By death i mean nothingness and you exsist nomore...nore do ppl remember you unless its in the history books 100 years after you die.

But you can't freeze from intense burn.. Freezing is way worse than burning..
