The Essene and Bible verson of revelation

A group of the Essenes who wrote the Dead sea scrolls wrote a book called "The Essenes book of Revelation" dating back 150 BCE and 70 BC and I was looking at the bible revelation and the Essenes verson and you can clearly see the bible copied and changed the writings of the Essenes.

Essenes verson:
"There appeared a great wonder in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet,
And upon her head a crown of seven stars.
And I knew she was the source of running streams
And the mother of the forests."

Bible verson:
"And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:" (Revelation 12:1 KJV)

Notised how many stars were changed from 7 to 12? 


Essenes verson:
"But, I saw not what befell them, for my vision changed,
And I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth;
For the first Heaven and the first Earth had passed away;
And there was no more sea.
And I saw the holy city of the brotherhood
Coming down from God out of Heaven,
Prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying:
"Lo, the mountain of the Lord's house 
Is established in the top of the mountains 
And is exalted above the hills; 
And all people shall flow to it. 
Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, 
To the house of God; 
And he will teach us of his ways, 
And we will walk in his paths: 
For out of the Holy Brotherhood shall go forth the Law. 
Behold, the Tabernacle of God is with men, 
And he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, 
And God himself will be with them, and be their God.'
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
And there shall be no more death,
Neither sorrow, nor crying,
Neither shall there be any more pain:
For the former things have all passed away.
Those who made war shall beat their swords into ploughshares,
And their spears into pruning hooks:
Nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
Neither shall they learn war anymore:
For the former things have passed away.

And he spoke again: "Behold I make all things new.
I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.
I will give to him that thirsts at the Fountain of the Water of Life freely.
He who overcomes shall inherit all things,
And I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
But the fearful, and the unbelieving,
And the abominable, and murderers, and all liars,
Shall dig their own pit which burns with fire and brimstone."

Bible verson:
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." (Revelation 21:1-6, 8 KJV)

They added more things in the bible verson Like sorcerers and whoremongers and idolaters plus the second death. The writer of the Essence is unknown but the bible verson calls himself john. Another thing i notised was this verse: 

"And he who kills with the sword must be killed by the sword."

Look familiar?

"for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. (Matthew 26:52 NIV)

It's amazing when you look into diffent types of beliefs and cultures cause your start to see where ideas and storys comes from and they evolve over time. Only this time john made sure no one will write the  revelation again:

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Revelation 22:18, 19 KJV)

Np ^.^ that site has alot of the lost text written by the Essenes which is a shame cause it has good storys and it goes well with the bible new testement like for sample a prophecy of Jesus to suffer the sins of humanity:
This was written in 300BC

Chapter XIV - The earliest prophesy of the coming of Christ.

1 Then Adam said to God: "O Lord, take You my soul, and let me not see this gloom any more; or remove me to some place where there is no darkness." 2 But God the Lord said to Adam, "Indeed I say to you, this darkness will pass from you, every day I have determined for you, until the fulfillment of My covenant; when I will save you and bring you back again into the garden, into the house of light you long for, in which there is no darkness*. Chapter XV - Adam and Eve grieve over the suffering of God to save them from their sins.

1 Then Adam and Eve cried and sorrowed by reason of God's word to them, that they should not return to the garden until the fulfillment of the days decreed on them; but mostly because God had told them that He should suffer for their salvation."

It wasn't "his" visions and the hole Jesus thing wasn't even in the original text written by the Essene. And people are looking at the bible prophecys for signs in this reailty but how can they if the bible version is written by a fake?
Tell you what tho... It's amazing how all things are starting to unfold in our genaration ^.^

Lots of Mystics have visions. If they are different, does that mean one is a "fake"? If we take it as a given that 99.99% have no clue what either vision version means... what difference does it make?

How do you know that the "original text" was 'original' or even written by the Essenes?

The Aramaic version written by John of Patmos claims it was during the reign of Nero when he had the vision and wrote the account. That would place it before 70AD which is pretty early imo. (not that it makes a whole heckuva lotta difference to me).

I did a timeline thing in my reaserch and here's the list:

Book of Adam and eve 300BC
Essenes 300BC The Essences Gospel of Peace *said to be written in 300BC* 
Essenes flourished 200BC 
Dead sea scrolls 150 BCE and 70 BC
(contains The Essene Book of Revelation)
The Heavenly Prince Melchizedek 100BC

Who ever theses guys were, they were around way before Abraham and Moses.

An intresting verse in the orginal text which says:
"And the voice of harpists, and musicians, and of pipers,
And of singers, and trumpeters,
Shall be heard no more in thee;
And no craftsmen, of whatever craft he be,
Shall be found anymore in thee;
And the sound of the millstone shall be heard no more in thee.
And the light of the candle will shine no more in thee
And the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride
Shall be heard no more in thee
For your merchants were great men of the Earth;
By there sorceries all nations were deceived.
And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints,
And all those who were slain upon Earth."

this fits perfectly with the shadow goverment conspiracy =D

What is the source of your research? The dating of the Dead Sea Scrolls is controversial. It was originally believed to be about 25AD. But that would make it contemporary with a very popular religious figure and so much of the writing was eerily similar to that particular religious figure... annnnnnd it gave a narrative that differed significantly from the present mythology....

So, grasping at a few straws 'they' managed to place it back at 70BC and it stuck, along with a collective sigh of relief. (Which then introduced *another* problem... it looks like some guy whose life sounds a lot like Jesus' was walking around shortly before Jesus was born... !... holy guacamole... what a mess....)

As far as I know NONE of those other so called "Essene" books have any basis at all in historical or archeological fact. Yes those books were written but assigning authorship to the Essenes is dubious. Some have guessed that maybe some Essenes wrote some things but there is no firm data on which to base those claims with a high degree of confidence.

I have not followed this closely in the last ten or fifteen years so if new data has come to light I would be happy to review it.


Edit; this subject interests me so I looked into it a bit further. It appears that much of these so called "Essene Books" are modern fabrications. Those books don't exist.

Author Keith Akers[5]  says the health concepts such as raw foods and colonic enemas in Szekely's claimed translation reflect vegetarian and naturopathic fads of the early twentieth century rather than historical practices.

When University of Lund theologian Per Beskow investigated Szekely's claims in Strange Tales About Jesus, both the Vatican and the National Library of Vienna denied that the original manuscripts existed. The Vatican also denied that Szekely had ever been admitted to the Vatican Archives in 1923. The third claimed manuscript source was the library at Monte Cassino, which was destroyed during World War II.[6]
