Hello, I have been watching some videos with ufos (Dont have any link yet) and the conspiracy theories and the back of the moon and surely they admit that aliens are real but they said they were fallen angels. It goes that they morph from their abode, hell I suppose and travel to the 3d world to deceive and corrupt us... And so on. Just thought of starting a topic about I and see where it goes.

Some people believe that angels mentioned in mythology's or lore, even gods, are extra-terrestrials. While angels in the traditional spiritual sense are really categorized as Ultra-Terrestrials. Meaning they are creatures believed to hold a position of purpose in being caretakers of this planet, or watchers over humanity guiding our evolutionary process, instead of beings created to strictly follow a religious god if one chooses to abandon the religious component all together.
It's an interesting point of view in a more grounded kind of way, that can explain a lot why people were seeing what they were seeing during those times, but couldn't describe them very well in a way we in this day of age could understand. The ancients seeing flying saucers, they will think there gods or spirit beings manifested on the earth.
But there's very little evidence for this, which is reduced to nothing but suppositions. Of course I believe that intelligent life exists outside earth, but I concede that my awareness and knowledge of it is very limited as a human being.

I am still searching for the video link.. I understand your viewpoint but the fact is that they didnt say it was a misconception, they truly went the religious way and wanted to prove that interstellar travel is impossible. They event pointed that they sometimes have problems shifting thief appearance and that's why they have mishaps... Still searching the link

Hmmm, I'll be interesting in seeing this video to comment on it. I might have an inkling of what your referring to.

That sounds like the Ancient Alien specials- where they take mythology and translate it into UFO visitations, completely ignoring cultural symbology or metaphysical possibilities, often getting the science wrong, which is kind of funny- a kind of materialism, but not based on science. I guess you know how I feel about those.

The Hindu "Vedas" refer extensively to flying machines carrying celestial beings. The Bible says that celestial beings came down and mated with women, creating giants. Moses was lead by a pillar of light. What about Ezekiel and his "wheel"? The Epic of Gilgamesh also refers to heavenly beings breading with women creating hybrid creatures. Angels=Aliens, if ancient texts are taken for true events, may not be so impossible.
The list is extensive, but you can look up more if you feel like it...

I know what you mean but you left out the fact that they say that it is Aliens = Fallen... Fallen Angels only. If that is so, then they are being dogmatic because if there are fallen angels then there is a vengeful and wrathfully God behind it. And how did they escape from hell!

Well, here's me with my two cents again- Religious people see the ideas of aliens as demons because that fits with their worldview, and UFO enthusiasts (or rather, the materialist UFO enthusiasts) see all manner of possibly paranormal events as evidence of a technologically superior (i.e. alien) intervention, and others will see a possibility of a combination of either, while yet others will see all of it as delusions or psychological projections- it depends on the worldviews of those doing the opining. What is really going on? I guess it depends on what you believe in.

Nicely said CFTraveler that really put things into perspective but it's weird how a simple phenomena can be interpreted in various ways. I guess it's like 100 blind men feeling an elephant. Lol.. Trust me if a religious person watches that, he wouldnt miss a day of church... No offense.
