Hello,
Not trying to diss on the actual moderators here , they are doing a pretty awesome work.
It's just that a lot of questions stay unanswered for days , I'm sure everyone has a life and can't be always available, so why not bring up some more experienced people ? Not really to moderate the forums since everyone seems pretty cool, but more to always have at least one or two members who can guide us newbies.

I'm saying this as a " Forum Management " point , from my experience, great forums have constant great support available.

Cheers

Hi
On occasion some new posts dont appear until a while later. In some cases they appear much later. In parts of the world it is bedtime for many members and busy mornings delay some answers until the next evening. This can take over a day, be patient, the answers eventually come as some may need a little research by the members.
You could link some here incase they have been missed completely. Auto update holds for a short time only.

There were many more moderators in the past, but they gradually put less time into the Pulse as they had other life pursuits, which is natural. There are maybe 6 active moderators now, but a couple are more behind the scenes (like David Warner who runs the Astral Academy dealy).

I think what you are talking about though is more about needing active members who have a great deal of experience. There are about 5-6 of these that I can think of off-hand, but they generally only seem to reply to topics they feel they can add to.

Stillwater has a good point. It's not more moderating we need, it's more experienced members. Over the years I've seen them come and go, but like Stillwater said, it's normally a small number at any given time who I would consider "advanced" or having years of experience. It's understandable... there's not too much for them to gain here, it's more a place for them to share. And answering basic question over and over gets a little tedious. I miss CFT.

P.S. - If your question isn't being answered, it might be because it's been answered many times before, so don't forget to try the search bar.

Most of the time its good to think it out yourself because people love to learn but hate to be taught

i often don't answer a post to give others the chance to teach

Even though you're saying there are only 6 or 7 members who are experienced,  probably more members have experienced their first obe, so they can probably help the new guys who are still strugling with this.
Other members have already met their guide, so they can probably help the guys who can OBE but having a hard time making contact with a guide...And so on.

Most of the questions I asked were pretty much answered and the answers generally helped my progress and my understanding of things, but many times I'd start reading an interesting post, and at some point the Poster asks something and doesn't get an answer, most of these times that question is also one of my questions.Hoping you get my emphasis :).

If you google astral pulse followed by a few key words from your question, usually you will find  qiute a few previous threads to help give you an answer :) Im still very much a newbie but try help out fellow newbies where I can but life definatly gets in the way. Im in full time study, I work nights and parent a 2 year old so its hard to find time for my own AP growth :)

I agree with NoY, no matter how much you read it won't be as good as actually finding the answers yourself. Since nothing can happen without YOUR OWN belief in it, it's even better to find out on your own. It strengthens your own belief rather then just reading about it.

I needed 1 word, and seeing my friend on this one website about reality creating to awaken me and have me go search for the truth on my own, and I can say I truly advanced (all around, not just at OBEs) a lot quicker then how long I've read it takes to even achieve a simple OBE state, and I do believe that's because I did it all on my own. And after I seen my own thoughts become reality, that was the turning point for me. I have no doubt about it that what I've learned is true.

I don't think life would be as fun if we just ran to everyone asking them for the answers and not learning anything on our own, having to depend on someone else who's answer may only be suffice for them (everyone's journey is different)

I am new to this board, experienced and what I am trying to do for now is find my way around the site. Its a good site with a lot of depth  but what I cant do just now is find a place to put a stake in the ground and start adding to the mix. I am a moderator on another site and the biggest contributor so no issues about asking or answering, I am looking for a starting point. I wonder if there are few others like this, I dont want to rush in and just make noise I want to add to the color and depth of the site so am slowly looking around and getting a feel of what is here.

Welcome to the astralpulse majic , and thank you for those good intentions :)

I'm kind of newbie to OBE, so reading books and taking a look
at the Books Review forum has helped me with a lot of
questions.

Doing a search among old posts also help, and you have to
accept that it takes time to find things. Many of the great
answers are from old members no longer active.

Hi,
Pauli2 hits the nail on the head. A perfect but lengthy example is Franks posts. They have been made into a PDF and this works in a tts engine (talking book).
Info is there but sporadic and quite spaced, I've not finished listening yet and its entertaining as well as informative.

LOL....

I am picturing the text-to-speech lady yammering on through franks's 3300 posts about phasing for 1200 hours, badly mispronouncing every 10th word.

That must be painful Szaxx

Hi,
Thats cruel lol
There's lots much worse like, er, um oh, and yeah you got a point.
Looking within the many posts for things I've not experienced and anything I dont agree with is the main reason. Research isn't always fun but you begin to understand another's mind and way of thinking. Frank has some valid points that beginners will ask and deals with these quite well.
His advancement is unique to him as all of us handle the set challenges in our own way. This is the part all beginners need to know. Pauli2 has pointed this out as others have.
There's nothing like personal experiences in order to learn and jumping in at the deep end with this subject is a secure wsy to progress. You can feel sad or happy but you wake up with the memory and thats as bad as it gets.
Think about doing the stunts while out in the physical realm. Its one scarey ideal. You make a mistake in this and you DONT wake up. This alternate reality experience is so safe its absolutely amazing. Its infinite and you can't represent some of the actions you do in the physical at all.
Anyone learning should go for it with all guns blazing. Get it wrong and you wake up.
Its a way of life as said many times before.
I feel so sorry for those who cannot understand any of it and shrug it off as nonsense.

You dont have to go to google to do this. Look at the upper banner of this site, then next to it you will see a search box. Just enter any key word and all the topics and text within the conversations containing this word will line up. It's very convenient. There are lots of questions already answered and topics already discussed many times.

That really says it all.  :)

LOTS of great information here.  The information found here is what REALLY helped propel me past the 10 year bump I ran into when learning Astral Projection.  Not only Franks work here, but posts and opinions from all the other moderators (previous and current) as well.

Stillwater

hmm... that means members make an average of 4 posts each...

It might be interesting to see what sorts of statistic analysis can be done with the numbers we have gathered, and what things it might indicate about our users and general trends.
