Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the post, and yes we do seem to have quite a few stickies. Moreso in some forums than others. This is probably part of the 'growing pains' of the forum. When we were fewer and smaller there were less posts and also fewer stickies. However little by little we get to these things, and I'm sure we'll resolve it pretty soon.

Ah I understand. Is there anyway that you can increase the amount of posts that a user can see?

I just refresh the Active Topics page so I don't have to go hunting through the maze of forums to find the new posts.

Hi Ivan,

As you may have noticed by now, Adrian has trimmed down the stickies. Hopefully the items will stay on the first page a little bit longer. [;)]

I didn't want to post this in the General forum cuz it would only crowd the posts.  And what i mean by that is that there are simply too many stickies, and now the ratio of posts to stickies is something like 6-7?

I just feel that posts are being ignored too quickly because people rarely check the other pages of the forum...where even recent posts end up because new ones come up and bump them down.  I suggest limiting the stickies because 1) it looks better with out so many, and 2) posts are being killed to quickly.

Thanks,
~ivan
