I'm friends with an individual who has recently stated to seeing "Shadow People". According to him, it's been happening since he was 5. With more and more sightings occurring yearly. He gets a bad feeling right before he begins seeing them en mass. He sometimes wakes up with scratches on his body, though mostly on his hands. He has also had trouble getting to sleep. I've already done a psionic exercise that may or may not solve the problem. I won't know until he contacts me later on today, or near the end of the week. If this does not solve the problem, I'll need a few suggestions on how to get rid of them. Thank you so much!
Are there things in his life that may be attracting them? Negative situations or conflicts?
I used to see them a lot, too, and I still see them, if any are around. However, I managed to get rid of the "black men" with the help of faith & prayers. No, I'm not orthodox christian, bet I'd really suggest saying the "Our Father in Heaven" prayer three times before going to sleep AND believing in it.
I used to see them a lot too. I told my friend one day and he told me to make fun of them. Give them goofy glasses and such. I did it to one of them and I've never seen another.
I guess they get really embarrassed! :D
Makes a certain amount of sense. There are some entities that feed on fear. Not taking them seriously would be unpalatable from them.
I have had MANY bad experiences with shadow men. I live on the most haunted street in my city. Behind me is a fairly good sized forest in which they live en mass. At least a dozen of them live in the forest. I have tried going in the forest at night only twice. The first of that was an airsoft battle. Me and my friend were battling and just as I opened fire on him, I felt a hand grab my shoulder. It scared the crap out of me. I turned around and saw a shadow over me that quickly vanished. The second time, me and two friends were going down to the woods because one of them didn't believe me. Me and one of them stayed back because we knew they were there. The other one proceeded down to the woods and got the scare of his life as three pairs of glowing eyes in shadow bodies chased after us.
One of them went as far as to haunt my house at night and early morning. As I would be laying in bed well after my mom had gone to sleep, I would hear footsteps on the stairs. They were slow and deliberate. He would come to the top of the stairs, stop, then walk into my room. I would be terrified because he would stand at the door and stare at me. One time he even turned on my TV really loud in the middle of the night.
SOOO, enough talk. Here's what I did to get rid of him.
1) If you are Christian, get some holy water from your church. Place it over and around your door whenever they bother you to prevent them from entering your room. You can even use it against them directly. Trust me, they hate the stuff.
2) Remember, mind over matter. Your mind is one of the most powerful tools against them. You can imagine your house is surrounded and permeated by a divine presence (white light). You can imagine a shield surrounding your house that they can't penetrate. Or, heck, even imagine nuking them (this one really works sometimes).
3) Salt. This one is also very effective. Spread salt around your entire house, then sweep it up and throw it out the back door for best effect. This works well as an all-around house cleaning.

Well, this all sounds like paranoid schizophrnenia to me, but it is surprising that so many people have similar experiences with these visions; not sure if that means they are some sort of psychological archetype, or perhaps even there, on some level.......
I have been in a situation where multiple people saw them at the same time I did. Some of the people I knew, some I didn't. There was no discussion that would lead anybody to a particular conclusion or skew their observations. Paranoid schizophrenia, hallucinations or delusions would not really explain that.
I've seen them. At first it was just out of the corners of my eyes, then it was more like a looming presence. Sometimes I'm completely terrified of the dark, feeling them waiting there. But I suck it up and go to sleep. And sometimes It's like normal. Nothing there, can't feel it at all. I know it's not the being alone thing because I'm never alone and even when there is someone in the room with me I feel it.
I notice it happens more when I get irritated or angry that day however. If I get into a really bad knock-down-drag-out fight it gets to where I can't be in the dark for days. I don't know if that's just how the ones around me react. Whether they're trying to comfort me or scare me. but it used to be kinda uncomfortable thinking there was someone watching me in the dark as I slept.
It never did anything however so I started thinking that it was watching out for me, trying to get me to calm down and stuff when I'm upset. The more upset I get the longer it sticks around. Do you think that's a good or bad thing though?
I see shadow people too. I'm glad I'm not the only one! :lol:
Some people have argued this with me, but I don't feel they are good. I have not seen them do anything directly but I have seen their appearance cause a lot of caos and I have seen the frighten people which I don't feel is a good thing. I suspect that fear feeds them.
Well, the presence I feel in the dark might not be shadow people, it could just be that it's dark and so I associate it with shadows.
