Title: Have you changed?
Post by: Anonymous on April 22, 2003, 08:22:46
When I practice qi gong I can feel the energy in my hands tingling. Usually I feel it more in my left arm than in my right arm. When I move my arms it feels like I am moving through some sort of fluid.

When I meditated, I would usually end up being a lot more tired the next day. So I stopped meditating and decided qi gong was the way to go for me. I have so much more energy when I practice qi gong and I feel a lot more awake. Sometimes it overflows my base chakra though, which can lead to unwanted sexual desire, in which case I try to raise the energy to my higher chakras.

Well energy development for me has enabled me to overall move energy through my body and sense/percieve it (inside and around the body) much better. I also see blue sparks and lights while meditating sometimes. Auric sight improved much after NEW work, it worked much better than just raising awareness over the brow center.

It is hard to say for certain. My efforts began in 1988, but it really wasn't until 1998 that it really started to work. Too many things have changed since starting and it is hard to say what can be attributed just to energy work. Accidental cuts, burns, and bruises began healing faster and then started happening less often. Illnesses started healing faster but are not happening less often. Stress. It is likely that things would have been much worse without energy.

Hi Goingslow,

I started NEW & energy raising about a year ago. I found that the energy raising would give me a boost for a bit, maybe a few hours, but I would then go back to feeling tired. The two things that helped me were - 1)learning to maintain or store the energy I'd raised, and keep my negative emotions - anger, boredom, frustration, those kind of things in check beause they can very quickly deplete the stored energy. 2) I also regularly take multiviamins now, as I know my diet isn't the best, and the physical body needs its fuel as much as the energy body does.

James.

Hiya...I would have to say that since I started my energy work I am able to achieve a lot in a day. When I am away from yoga too long...I can tell...migraines come back...I'm sluggish. The more Reiki I do for myself or others the more energy I have to give. There's a definite correlation. When I am around others they seem to perk up quite a bit too...so hope this little note send everyone a big boost!

Cheers..

Im curious, how has energy work changed the people on this forum.

I mean more physical ways like do you have more energy than before?

I realized my energy has been low lately and i've felt really tired.  I used to feel tired all the time before I started on energy things.  Im wondering what are things that have changed for others.
