Title: impossible... unethical?

I once read a book that said it was possible to go so far as to possess(sp?) someone and even had a method to do so.

The title was something like "Astral Travel: Your guide to out of body experiences".  It was quite a good book actually.

This reminds me of something I read, I think either Robert Monroe or Bruce Moen. In that book, the author is out of body and comes across a friend of his. He has a conversation with the man (whose physical body, I seem to recall, was asleep). Later, when the author went to verify what happened, the guy has no recollection whatsoever of what the author was talking about.

Very best,

I read Monroe's book where he talked about speaking with friends in the astral and they didnt know too.  He thought it might have been their superconscious or sub conscious.

That was what kind of made me ask this question.  If it was their subconscious wouldnt it be possible to influence them on that level.  Not really trick them but to the point where you look familiar to them or you click in a way so many people do, even when they dont know why?

So even though they wouldnt remember you visiting them isnt it possible they'd take an instant liking to you?  BTW im not thinking of doing this.. i just switched jobs.. Im talking more about the subconscious and superconscious.

Also I read someone put somewhere that usually when you meet another projector rt you can kinda sense that in them.  I think there's subconscious stuff going on.

The subconscious is a murky place. Charles T. Tart wrote a book called Psi. In the book he explores human consciousness including aspects of psi auch as telepathy, obe's and the human aura. I read the book a few years back, but I believe he would say that yes, it is very possible to create an impression on someone while asleep (or at a distance) so that they would sense a familiarity or intuitive insight when they met you. (Perhaps a kind of telepathy is going on?)

However, in my opinion, the recognition or "influence" would probably vary from person to person. Take a strong bond, such as love, and all kinds of telepathic things happen between two people. With complete strangers, perhaps a different story.

Very best,

I, for one, think it is possible.  Is it right?  I think it depends on how and why it is done.  The ends definetly don't always justify the means but sometimes they do.

I think anytime, however, we force others to do our will we don't really end up winning or helping them.  Interesting question though.

Fortunately, I don't think most people capable of doing such a thing would do it...

Finally, as a side note, I think we compell people all the time, usually on a subconscious level, especially when we use flattery...and the obvious times we use bribery.  Sometimes the reasons for doing such things are virtuous, and other times they are the opposite.  Sometimes just the way we gaze, or even glance, at someone can affect them.

Is it possible to suggest things to people in the astral who are in the physical.  Lets say you were just interviewed by someone for a job you really wanted.  Forgetting ethics for a minute is it possible to influence them in the astral.  Like if you visit them and send a lot of love to them.  I guess you dont have to forget ethics is it really wrong to try to do this.

I dont mean like suggesting to a woman/man they sleep with you.  Though I guess getting a job or trying to persuade them to chose you for something isnt any better.

Any thoughts on this?
