I would get it but im 56k and it would take for ever! Grant it I download 650 MB-1MB files monthly, I dunno if I want to do it for a trance MP3. I can get into a trance without it![;)]
Thanks anyway for the idea! I will get it later, hopefully.

I just tried this and it's very nice. Good and long, with no distracting noises. (as in: that Dane Spotts thing with the dolphins...it's like trying to relax in a school playground at recess...)
What would happen if you repeated it? Does it leave you off where you started, or would it be like going from fourth gear back to first and then up again?

---
edited to add: the author of the file tells me it goes from alpha to delta and stays there, so repeating it isn't a great idea.

I tried the Holosync free demo and I am interested in it but cost is prohibitive. I am looking for some free stuff. What is Hemi-sync and where I can get it. or if some free download is available?

I'm listening to trance right now, except it's the 190 BMP kind. [:D]

Seriously thoug, my warmest thanks for making this availible. Ever since I too tried the holosync demo I've been looking for a less costly version online, and now you have provided me with it. Again, playing the role of the second Oscar-winner, thank you. =)

Thank you! All sorts of crazy stuff happened the first time I used it, but not in subsequent times. I hear that's pretty typical. We'll see what develops long term now.

I have downloaded from http://www.astralpulse.com/membersfiles/binauralabyss.zip . I can only some hissing noise in headphone . Unlike the holosync demo there is no other music . does it contain that much only or there is some problem with what I downloaded .
Secondly can I record this thing in cassette and listen to using tape recorder or walkman.
The file is 60 minutes long , whatnis minimum time to listen to get some effect or need to listen full 60 minutes in one stretch

It is normal; even if nice, music is not needed.

Since your headphones cannot reproduce low frequencies (my headphones are limited to 20Hz), binaural beats is a way to trick the brain...

"The theory behind binaural beats is that if you apply slightly different frequency sine waves to each ear, a beating affect is created in the brain itself, due to the brain's internal wiring. If, in the presence of these tones, you relax and let your mind go, your mind will naturally synchronize with the beat frequency. In this way it is possible to tune the frequency of your brain waves to particular frequencies that you have selected, using of the four bands: Delta - deep sleep, Theta - dreaming and intuitive stuff, Alpha - awake, focussed inside, Beta - awake, focussed outside."

Some people are annoyed by the freq. sounds and wants alot of white noise to make the sounds off the conscious hearing.
Some are annoyed by music when listening to it.
Some dont want any sound at all.
Some wants to hear everything.
And some people just dont give a excrement.

bro... this is the sickest stuff ive ever heard. When i start to listen you can feel it in your head and its like you dont wanna listen cuz it kinda hurts, but then ur ears they begin to pop and then you can feel it in your head and you feel relaxed, kinda like getting high off of it. my friend was telling me, if you listen to it, it allows your brain to be fully used instead of half. i dont know if its bs but this was the wierdest thing. I brought my laptop to school with the file on it, and i listened to it while taking my finals, i hadnt study a bit, So im like forget it, i cant do it. I put my head down and fall asleep for 5 minutes i get back up and i looked at the test... i coulda sworn i knew every answer on the danm test. And i sleep everyday in that class its wierd, call it bs, call it what you will. This is the freakiest YET coolest excrement ive ever heard and if thats what triggered my brain to work on the test then you might wanna listen.

i downloaded it, and the file is only 6 minutes! can i please ahve the 60 minute file? where do i get it?

heres my exp. with the 6 minute version

last night i listened to it on a loop for almost 1.5 hours. i love it because it sounds 3d and none of that rainy crap like the awakened minds disc. i gave up and rolled over. i started thinking about ebing one with a certan person , and then i thought about art class. i was IN art class and it was very cool. i started mouthing off to the teacher, calling her art trash, ect. then i ran outside. one thing i noticed is that it was like running through water. i got to the door, pushed it open with extreme difficulty (lots of resistance) then sat down and started thinking of a certain person coming out and doing.. ahem... well i got TOO excited so i ruined it and got shot back to my body.

one thing i noticed, is if i focused on a face and payed attention to detail, the vibrations got alot stronger. also, i sort of "slid" into this "experiance" and it wasn't violant and scary like other ppl have said, and it was like i sunk down into it.

it was all over at 12:38.

so i REALLY want the 60 minute file! i cant wait untill my next OBE. i dont even know if i was in the astral plane. definately not RLT.

Recap from first post:
http://www.astralpulse.com/membersfiles/binauralabyss.zip
Note: it is 82Mb / 60m / 192kbps .mp3

I have not downloaded the file yet (only at 46.6kbps here) but according to the first post,  and the size of the file 82Mb!! I am assuming it is 60min.

Maybe the admins or someone who downloaded it could please re-encode it to 128Kbs or 96Kbs rate in .wma format and upload to file area, for us lower bandwidth people?  That way it would be much smaller and very appreciated to those of us stuck in dark age!!  [:D]

alt255, great job... I'm glad to see that someone's providing an alternative to the expensive binaural beat product. I haven't checked any of yours out yet, as I also produce my own (and am stuck on dialup.) Have you thought of adding "silent subliminals" like the holosync program offers? Lots of fun there [:D]
Also, I haven't seen this mentioned yet, so to anyone that can't get the binaural beats to "work" - you need to try to relax when you're listening to them for the best effect. You're not going to notice any effect if you're listening to them during your morning jog. The more active that you are physically and mentally the less effect, if any, the tracks will have since you're effectively fighting the beats.
I have tracks that I've made for specific activities, reading, deep relaxation, falling asleep REALLY fast, and some odd experimental ones (still looking for that magical AP track [8D]) ... blah blah blah

Did anyone else get tooth ache after listening to the Holosync Demo!
I just finished it, very nice stuff, very relaxing, but towards the end i got horrible sharpe pains in my right upper Molar. I stopped the music and a couple of minutes later the pains gone!

Jeez, never had that before [:o)]

----------------------------------------------------------------
that would turn 82.4meg file to a 605meg file - what an increase in download time! I have only 55meg of web space or would put it there for you. try the local library/college - faster connection?
friend ? someone to post it to you? (zip disk, usb drive?)

Actually .WMA is Windows Media Audio file not WAV !!  The WMA format will make it half the size when encoded at 96kb bitrate.  About 41MB would be the result size.  (I think you were thinking of a .wav file which would be super huge!)

And no, all my friends unfortunately have slow bandwidth too and i don't have access to library.

To izzy-in: thank you for your suggestions, and I will try to find some way to get the file.  I just thought it would be nice for other low-bandwidth users like me who may have a difficult time getting it;  to have a file half the size here in one location to download.

Maybe some high-bandwidth people would also like to have the option to download the half-size file for sampling purposes.

I wish I had a faster connection, I would do the conversion encoding and upload it myself to my own space and provide a link to it, provided it would be ok with the admins and creator of the file.
But just a dream i guess... lol

Well I finally decided to just go ahead and try to download it lol.  I used a program called fresh download which supports resuming of files and let it download overnight. It took a total of about 4 1/2 hours.

If anyone else is stuck on dialup and would like to have it, let me know, I would be willing to help out.  You can send me a blank cd along with a large enough self addressed stamped envelope (make sure there is enough to cover postage) and I will burn it on a disk for you.

hi,
I downloaded and tried the binaural abyss track and am quite impressed: i liked the blizzard feeling it has although I thought the track is quite strong compared to what I've been listening to... I've been on the "zillion-level gazzilion dollar" Holosync program for just over a year and reaching the end of their Awakening Level 1. Although I'm quite happy with it I'm not so happy with the amount of cash they expect you to part with for each level and am definitely not impressed with their marketing strategies so I've been searching for an alternative for a while. Can anyone give me an informed opinion on the tracks produced by the Center for Neuroacoustic Research? Also I would like to try and produce some tracks myself, can anyone point me to some useful online literature on the subject? alt0xFF states he spent quite some time working on BWGen and analyzing tracks to finally produce The binaural abyss track, i wonder if he'd share some insights of a more technical nature? [:)]
great work anyway, thanx for posting it for us all.

I have a question for someone. When I put BWGen into Google I get a boatload of hits, including one shareware site at http://www.bwgen.com/fact_or_fiction.htm. This site says it has a program you can download and try free for a month, then if you want to buy it, it's only $40.00. It offers a lot of different sounds, etc. Of course I've also seen the mega-pricy sites. What's the difference between the two?

Also, I know that sound waves can be very damaging, to the extent of causing bleeding in the brain, so I'm a bit cautious about experimenting too much. I've sent an inquiry to what I consider a reliable source but have heard nothing back yet.

This is an interesting area, and I hope the cheaper alternative proves to be a valid choice. What do you think?

I've never come across anything stating that "sound waves can be very damaging, to the extent of causing bleeding in the brain", could you post a link to your source?

I played about with BWGen for a while, it seems perfectly safe to me, but i didn't think it was very user friendly when it came down to creating tracks.

There's also a freeware available online called sbagen (http://www.uazu.net) which i've been experimenting with and obtaining great results, anyone else tried it?

Naivous, unfortunately, I can't remember where I ran across the information. The most recent reference was in an article I read about the US Navy testing sonar equipment and its impact on whales. Sorry, I can't recall if it was Discover or Scientific American. I haven't done an internet search for whales and sonar yet, but it may be out there. Anyway, the article said that stranded whales had been autopsied and showed bleeding in their brains. There was more discussion, but the conclusion was that the intensity of the sonar might be responsible for the strandings and/or deaths. It's all pretty tenuous, which is why I'm looking for some kind of verification (like always! [xx(]).

I appreciate the link to the other site. I'll likely take advantage of that. Here lately it seems I'll need something to yank me out of my body -- I've been having no luck at all with meditation! [:(]

Come to think of it, the danger could be in the volume of noise, maybe not in the frequency. Anyway, it's probably not going to keep me from experimenting. [:)]

hi, i've just tried this out and i've got to admit it's pretty good. i used it for about half an hour and i actualy found myself conciously snoring. it put me in to mind awake body asleep reasonable easily so well done. also the wobble sound, im not entirely sure what that is but i did find it helpful to concentrate on the rising and lowering sound. it seemed to travle upwards on the left and down on the right, it was like it was doing a clockwise route around my head if that makes senses[:P]

Wow! This is awesome!  This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for.  About a day ago I was asking if there were any cheaper alternatives to holosync and hemisync.  AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW!  Anyways, thanks to my DSL I'll have this done in 10 minutes, then I'll let you guys know just how well it works on me:)  Seeing as I've never done an OBE, it'll be good for you guys to have another angle. (I'll edit this post with the results rather than spam).

EDIT:
No OBE, but the experience was kinda powerful all the same.  So I put on my oversized headphones and laid down in my bed.  The very first thing I notice is a feeling of warmth spreading over my chest area.  My first thought is "WTF?" but I let it happen.  I notice some pulses going on at different areas of my body, so I decided to do my Chakra thingy where I imagine opening up each Chakra and pulling energy up through it.  Then I felt some very distinctive pulses as well as a line seemingly drawn from my heart area down to the chakra above the belly button, and my throat.  No idea what that was, but it was new, and new stuff is good!

Also, I had the feeling that my cat was on the bed walking around near my feet and needing her feet on the bed.  I actually opened up my eyes to see if it was, but no cat, so I decided to concentrate on it, but not actually do anything about it.  It seemed to need in synch to my pulsing (which I guess was my natural body rhythm).  So I gathered it was not an actual ghost cat or something, but something related to the pulsing in my body.

A few other minor things happened, but nothign significant.  I saw some hypnagogic imagry, felt some very small vibrartions every now and then.  But the imagary was always very very dark and grey.

At one point though, and this was cool, I tried focusing on API.  I saw a small splotch of blue off in the distance, and the blackness around it actually seemed to break away and let me see more of it.  This continued for a bit and I must admit, watching the blackness break away like that was cool.  But then the blue faded into the darkness.

I also found my attention diverting a lot while doing this, just like it always does.  Not up to par my concentration is:/

Finally, I heard the noise die down and I knew it was over.  The hour managed to go very very quickly though.  I actually managed to trance out for a hour without really giving up, though I did twitch during it every now and then.  I tried doing rope but my stupid attention kept diverting, so it'd be like (pull pull... cakkkeeee.. hmm.. whoops, pull pull pulll.... what about school...... whooops, pull pull.. say that rope is like a snake... whoops).

I guess I need practice, but it was fun to do.  I am curious as to the mysterious heat sensations I felt near my chest at the beginning was though.  It was weird, it started near my heart then sort of spread all over my chest.

EDIT 2:
I believe I now know where I went wrong after reading some guides.  When the above mentioned imagary started of the island, I started a mental voice going that constantly commented on everything I saw.  I actually had a dialogue going :/  Stuff like, "Okay, I'm looking into the water, do I see anything?  Hmm, what is that black circle.  Hmm look at the pretty swirling blackness."  And no wonder it all disappeared soon after that :o  Also, a lot of the time I was pretty passive and didn't do much to try and phase or pull myself out.  Oh well, least I'll know better next time.

Firstly use WMP to listen the MP3 file.

Then use the function "copy on a CD" it will automatically translate from MP3 to WAV and you will listen it from any CD player

It works well for me (i have WMP serie 9 for XP).

If not use "altconvert" downloadable at"www.telecharger.com" a free software which can translate any audio file from wav,mp3,ogg,wma to any format you want. After just use your CD burner!!!

First of all.. amazing!!! couldnt think that a sound can do so much with you!!
very sweet.

I've downloaded the file and  i put it on my webserver (with 10 mbit connection)
ive done few small files (in rar) each one is 1.40 mb (like a A: disk).
Hope alt0xFF dont mind.
the point is that  you who have  dial-up or another low connection can download each part file every time you're connected to the internet.
like today you maybe  stay online  5 min so in this 5 min you could download 1 or 2 parts and tomorrow  when you maybe stay online 1 hour you could download  rest of  the parts.
anyways there is 59 parts totally ( 59 x 1,39mb = 82,01 mb ).

After you download all parts just  double-klick on the part 01 (if this dosent work try  klicking on part 59) and un-rar them in some dir.

if some part is invalid  or corrupted...  download this part again and try again :)

there's 2 adresses (parts are in the folder that you will see there)

http://www.hyperblu.com/astral
http://drm.dynalias.net/astral

Hope it  makes it  easier to download

Take care

Hi, I took my time to download it ( about 5 hours with dial-up) and tried it immediately. After 10 min listening to it I started feeling strange sensations like my legs were separating a little bit. The strangest thing I felt was a ball of energy literally alive under my left hand. I could feel it pulsating, getting big and small as well as lifting my hand a little bit. It was incredible and I was totally awake. Afterwards I became falling in kind of trance so I drifted asleep I think. But I think this is really great and can help AP-ing. :)[:)][:D]

When listening to the track, all i can hear is this low noise like an air conditioner makes, a continuous "errrrrrrrrrrr". Is that what I'm meant to be hearing or should is something wrong, and what can i do to fix it?

thanks,
Lucas

Thank you for providing this free sound file.  I placed in on a CD two nights ago.  Like many other who have posted here, the other programs are cost crazy.  I found this to be very relaxing.

Perhaps I missed some postings...can you provide the tech data on this file just so i can track what works well for me.  What range is this track designed to take us to?

I would enjoy a sound track of rain, maybe even with some thunder.  Nature scapes are very relaxing to me.

Hi Guys,

I listened to the binaural trance-inducing track for about an hour... I eventually lost all consciousness after about 20 minutes, I think I just fell asleep.. can't remember anything else.

I was lying on my chair asleep with my ear phones on and my Partner come into the room and woke me up... This gave me a hugh shock... "I never jump when someone wakes me up?" I must have been really relaxed.
But for some reason I felt really strange.. sick and tired. an odd experience.

Is this normal.... Did I fell like that because I didn't awake natuarally or could it have been an effect of the binaural trance?.......

And even if I did have an OBE or was just fast asleep... I don't remember a thing..:(

Paul

I downloaded the file overnight - jeez, it took me 5 1/2 hours! It seems to have been worth it so far, however.

I began listening to it earlier, and a few minutes into it I began to hear a guitar goung up and down, up and down in a range of a few notes, and it seemed to get lower and lower. I thought it was maybe part of the file, but my brother listened to it and didn't hear it, but it had me mildly entertained anyways.

About six or seven minutes into it I began to feel my heart tingle, and it felt like it began wobbling in a circular motion. Of course, just as it really started to kick in my brother came in to bug me.

Has anyone else experienced something similar to this, or is it my imagination getting the best of me?  lol

listen up!

download this http://www.kazaa.com/us/products/downloadKMD.htm
the free version

once installed and connected

enter HOLOSYNC in the search box

I found 3 holosync files

QUIETUDE>>> it is music and fun to listen too
THE DIVE>>> rain (and/or river)glass drum annoying but very effective
THE END-IMMERSION>>> rain non stop and current in a creek(I think) I find it boring and can't listen to whole 29min 57sec.

for the 3
the most effective for me: THE DIVE (5 min and you're gone)
the most pleasant to listen to: QUIETUDE

my wife prefers THE DIVE, it is a life-changing experience(read very hard to deal with), she has to confront many things that were hidden deep inside, she felt live giving up BUT she can see and feel positive changes and that is why she keeps listening because she took conscience of more things in 2 months than in the last 5 years, pretty powerful stuff.

And myself, I've got mixed feeling. I am digging my innner self try ing to understand new sensations and altered view of my present value...yes all this from listening to a CD.

Just try it and see if you feel different.

Much respect to alt-255 for this effort. Tried it, it is VERY strong.

Short description of my experience on this:

The first time, I fell asleep like a young puppy. I have to say, that the theme is cool too - reminds me of Pink Floyd: Wish you were here (last song on the album). I am such a person, that does not really achieve any state of "transcendence" with this - however it DOES DO magic to my overall state in the long run (while not listening) in terms of relaxation (I work in telecoms, yuck!), ability to focus, etc.

I wonder, when the 320 version will be available...

I am a participant in Centerpointe's Holosync(r) program. I have to say that they are very serious about their points of view. True, it is expensive, but they are really dedicated to what they do. I admire such people.

DOJISTARZ: You should not really try to listen to those tracks. Participants in the Holosync program usually get the tracks WITH THEIR OWN VOICE EMBEDDED on them. They (even though it is optional) tape your voice over the phone and then over-dub it (in high inaudible frequencies), onto the Holosync rain and bowls. That makes one "program himself" through subliminal messages (Like: "I am one with GOD" or "I do not attach myself to transient things", etc).

You wouldn't really want to hear these things, coming to you from your subconsciousness in someone else's voice, would you now?!

Cheers and respect to all! [:)]

What I did...

Downloaded the file to my harddrive.

Converted the file to WAV (http://www.xaudio.de/) using MPEGDJ (free program).

(note that doing this will increase the sound time to 60 minutes)

Used my CDR software (I have nero) and burned it to CDR.

Sounds great - have not tried it yet.

I recently tried listening to these hums for several seconds.
well long story short, my head started to hurt along the sides,
(the viens pulsed).
I'm convinced it's fear induced.

never the less, I would remind all of you to be careful.
IF YOU DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING THIS DON'T!
I would say that this is mainly a message for people
who our worried about such a process.

I have been doing Holosync intro disc for a couple times a week since September and have now ordered the 1st level. I basically think this program is good and has stabilized me in a way that I can concentrate more to become serious about such things as OBE among others. Of course the price bugs me too.

I think it must be possible to find out exactly which freqencies holosynce uses in each stage down for the next set of CDs which increases their effectiveness each time.  Frequencies are certainly not patentable. Their theory that you have to take it slow to completely change your brain waves like monks in Tibet or Zen monks who meditate for 40 years until they can acheive such deep states without problem seems pretty logical. A one time shot will only change you today. One CD alone as being offered here could not acheive such a change as 12 CDs over twelve years with progressive deepening could. Once you have gotten used to it the effects must wear off just as the idea is with holosync so that you have to switch CDs one after another until you reach the last stage. Obviously a cheap alternative is needed but the market for such  a product is too small to get a serious copy that is really identical in concept to Holosync going over the net for free or at CD burning cost.

Maybe they could just change this download slightly each time to correspond to the change to deeper frequency as holosync has in each of their deeper CDs and number them 1-12. Of course for that somebody has to buy the whole holosync set and analyze them in some sort of sound lab and they only sendt ehm out one at atime even if you pay for allof them at once (to stop copycats?).

For those of you interested...

You might try this web site as an alternative to the holosync CD's. They're a bit less expensive being $13.00 for each CD.

http://www.irfs.com/audiocds.htm

This is also a very good site with lots of resources.

http://web-us.com/binaural.htm

and their products list and pricing - a little bit more expensive but still not as bad as Holosync. They also offer cassette tapes.

http://web-us.com/productlist.htm

And then for those of you that are better at computer "stuff" than I am there's this site with a program in which you can generate your own binaurals. It also has links to support groups and a forum.

http://uazu.net/sbagen/

*sigh* Unfortunately I do not have the knowledge base to be able to use it.

Oh, btw...if you need a good download accelerator then I suggest DAP by speedbit...you can run downloads through several sites at once which helps speed up the downloading. I was using their freeware version for so long that I finally broke down and purchased their premium softwaare, but you don't have to. Sorry for the plug, but I remember what it was like to have a dial up modem and to have to wait long periods of time for downloads...this helps a little bit

http://www.speedbit.com/DAP7/Default.asp

If anyone finds that last offensive please let me know and I will remove it.

Hope all the rest helps everyone who is interested in the subject.

I consider myself an expert in the industry of brain-wave entrainment/mind-acceleration, so if you guys/gals want my opinion, the best product out there right now is the Neuro-Programmer by Transparent Corp: http://www.transparentcorp.com

While most of the brain-wave entrainment software out-there focuses on binaural-beats, NP adds photic stimulation, pulses, modulation and other types of augmentation that accompanies the audio-sessions. They range from Theta sessions (must have eyes closed) to Alpha sessions.

From my experience and the waste of money I've spent on all other types of software, I can honestly say this is the only one out there that is worth the purchase. Download the trial-version which, I believe, gives a couple free audio-sessions. I don't mean to sound like someone who's promoting their product...but what the hell, it's the best out there.

Namaste.

I was speaking of 320 kbps encoding which gives a clearer sound. This 192 kbps version seems a bit "fuzzy" in he lower ranges, the 320 version might just be sharper and clearer...

you won't believe this but I thought of that early this am and went "Doh!!" when i realized what the # meant.  Thanks for the clarification.

It WOULD be nice to have one encoded at a higher kbps, it was enough to work even though I did cut it short.  hmm...I wonder what would happen if I was to lie down instead of sitting?  [?]  I think my left side had an easier time of letting go as I kept feeling as if i was tipped over to the right.  Going to try that again tonite hopefully as it was an interesting experience.  Thank you alt0xFF for putting it up and Adrian for hosting it.

It works only if you use STEREO HEADPHONES.
To rephrase my answer: use stereo headphones, or you'll be wasting your time. If yo DO use stereo headphones, you will find some magic lurking around in your head, and then some! [:)]

Turn ON stereo, turn OFF any bass-boosters, turn OFF any 3D effects, turn OFF Dolby 5.1 and any similar mumbo-jumbo. And, for Pete's sake, turn ON the stuff in your head [:D][8D][8)].

What is an "asp"? (sorry, I am not American [:I])
You should hear high-pitched sounds like a blizzard (or a slow windstorm) in the distance, going around your ears.
There should also be very low (bass) thumping in the middle of your head (around 10 beats per second (this goes down to 2 or 3 towards the end of the track), by which time, you will probably be asleep the first few times. Do not put the sound too loud, relax and enjoy the magic (usually takes around 5 minutes for the brain to "entrain" to the binaural beats) [:)].
And for God's sake, do NOT drive a car, for 20 minutes following your session. Listen to this tape at most once a day.

OK, I get it. Use your computer or some other device. Remember, you have to sit and be relaxed, with your eyes closed for this to work.
If you are NOT older than 15, do NOT do this, until you're at least 15.

OK, 16-man, tell you what: download the thing again, I think it has to be 80 Megs in size or somewhere there. Re-burn it to a new CD. [8D]
Once more: don't drive or ride a bike with this, as it will alter your perception somewhat. So just wait some 20 minutes or so after listening. If you have any questions - post 'em here. Have fun. LOL! [:)][:D][:D][;)]

I just tried it last night and it was very interesting. It reminds me of some of the background noise used in the game "MYST". It has a windy, cold, desolate feel to it . I could not get into a trance because I could hear a crackling soung in my left ear that was very distracting. Could that be a short in my headphones? Also, I tried to concentrate on the sounds while meditating and running energy but external thoughts still kept filing in. I had hoped the sound would help drown out any thoughts and help me relax. I guess I will just keep trying...

These tracks do their work, if you are in a trance or not, so don't worry about it. When after weeks or months you get used to this, you can try the concentration thing - concentrate on the bass wobling, on a prayer if you are religious, on your favorite differential equation if you're a mathematician, etc [:D].

There should be no crackling, if there is, change your stereo headphones for another pair [8)].

Ladies and Gentelmen, due to popular demand, as they say, the free binaural trance-inducing track is now available for download from Astral Pulse server (thanks to Adrian).

http://www.astralpulse.com/membersfiles/binauralabyss.zip
Note: it is 82Mb / 60m / 192kbps .mp3

Those of you who have Hemi-Sync materials will find the sound very similar. The binaural profile is similar to Holosync®, so those of you who have it may want to try to compare; those of you who don't - may just want to try.

I'd like to say a couple of words regarding the trance state. I think that the term "mind awake / body asleep" is a bit misleading. A more proper term, in my opinion, would be "awareness awake / everything else asleep". This distinction is subtle but important. A thought running through your head is characterized by high-frequency signals in your brain. Trance state, however, requires the brain frequency to be sufficiently low. That is why it is important to prevent yourself from thinking about various crap after you've done your muscular relaxation routine. However, since it is difficult not to think at all, most people concentrate either on breathing, chakras, incrementing numbers, switching colors representing "mind awake" and "body asleep", etc. I want to stress that it is important to keep your concentration and prevent yourself from snapping back into high-frequency thinking activity.

With this track, you may want to try to concentrate on the low-frequency binaural wobbling in the lower end of the frequency spectrum, which slows down as you go along.

To summarize the important points:
- Completely relax your body.
- Relaxation of the body is necessary, but not sufficient. You must free your mind from any sort of thoughts.
- Concentrate on one thing, on which you can hold your concentration easily. If you catch yourself thinking about something else - simply get back on track.
- Stay aware.

Last night I was lying on my back listening to the track concentrating on the wobble. At some point I felt the vibes approaching. I start thinking very fast "I shouldn't lose it. Must stay relaxed. Mouth salivating... should I swallow now? Will it break off the concentration? Left leg itching - what a bad timing. And the eyelids do not appear to be properly relaxed - twitch a little. Gotta relax them ASAP!!!" By that time I found myself completely alert (although still relaxed), while the vibes, of course, went bye-bye. Now you know what NOT to do.

Good luck.

Hi snic & Psynaut -
since the forums moved across to the new server, the old download library is no longer available.

I've made a copy of the Abyss track available on my own server (see the 'www' link at the bottom of this message), together with the Boxed Nirvana track (http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14409) I developed.

If you're interested in trying out Abyss, feel free to download from there.
 while you're at it, try out Boxed Nirvana & post your feedback!

Cheers, gnomad

Snik, if you use Holosync, do not use other things to experiment. No real harm can be done, but doing it step by step as Centerpointe recommends is the proper way to go.

Also, I said the Binaural Abyss was for people older than 16. Centeprointe says that the minimum age is 13 for their introductory level. As this BinauralAbyss is MUCH stronger, I do not recommend it to kids. If you are 15 and mature enough, then you can use it. If you fall asleep it does not mean, that there is something wrong with you, or that you are too young. Everyone falls asleep the first few times!

If, however listening to the track makes you uncomfortable in any way, then you're probably too young, so go and do something else. 8)

Thanks gnomad, I have already downloaded the "boxed Nirvana" awhile ago. listened to it once, and it was good. Is abyss better? and is it also in bwgen format ?  :D  (I'm very time poor at the moment   )

Aljaz123 thanks for your concern. :D  But on other forums and around the traps others are saying that because they use Holosync they find other programs easer (eg. Genius Mind from Learning Strategies).
I also think that Holosync is generic as in it only takes you deeper into delta, helps rewire the brain to cope with this. For astral projection you don't need to goto delta. As I'm so time poor I have no choice but to take it slow  :D

Thanks heaps

Hi snic,
I find I get more from Boxed Nirvana than the Abyss track - but you might think I'm biased(!).  Best way is to try both and compare - I'd be interested to hear your results..

As mentioned, details on how to get Abyss can be found on my web site.  As far as I'm aware, it's not available as a bwgen preset.

Here are a few other free binaural resources out there:

G'Day gnomad

I tried Abyss, you were right the Boxed Nirvana is alot better.

Also wile I was in the thread that you pointed to I came across a reference to Boxed Nirvana II. Is this new, and is it available for BwGen. I,ll check out those links later,

Thanks heaps.

Here is the readme file for the abyss sound track. =)

Quote
Purpose: assists the listener in achieving the trance state.

What is it:

I've spent quite a bit of time studying the theory of binaural signals, and performing signal analysis of many commercial solutions (TMI products, HolosyncÆ, Awakened Minds, etc). I also analyzed those BWGEN presets that have many positive user comments, in attempt to extract common traits of what constitues a good binaural profile. This track is the result of all that research and several sleepless nights of hacking in Adobe Audition and BWGEN (creating background took 90% of the time). The background closely resembles that of Hemi-Sync, but there are few subtle differences, which make my version sound a bit less dry, and somewhat blizzard-like sounding. The relative amplitudes are such that the binaural signal is just on the hearing threshold.

What's inside:

For this track I decided to keep things general, which widens range of applications, which include, but not limited to: falling asleep, meditation, OBE, or any kind of trance-related work. In the future, I might make something specifically targeted for OBE.

How to listen:

You MUST use headphones, or speakers on the sides facing your ears, if you really have to. Using high-end equipment does not increase the effectiveness of the signals, so your average crappy cans will do the job. Comfortability is a plus. Set the volume to comfortable level - more on the quiet side. If you are in a noisy environment, use volume high enough to cover the outside noise. If you can easily distinguish the carrier, or if you feel that there is too much rumble in the lower end of the spectrum for your taste, you can use equalizer on your equipment to suppress lower frequencies, but don't kill it. The optimal volume is such that if you concentrate REALLY hard, you can barely distinguish wobbling (may appear erratic) in the lower end. If the wobble is very apparent and stable, you should decrease the bass.

How it works:

The binaural profile of this track closely resembles that of HolosyncÆ. In fact, there are only two major differences: 1 - it is free; 2 - you don't get a ton of follow-up motivational letters.

The first Holosync track, The_Dive, lowers the frequency from the Alpha into the deep Delta state (2.5 Hz) using single carrier masked by the sound of rain and crystal bowls (which annoyed the hell out of me). The second track, Immersion, keeps the carrier in Delta, and the crystal bowls are now gone. This track does the same thing, except that it is combined into 1 60-minute session. CRI accertains that lowering carrier frequency increases the effectiveness of the signal. In their zillion-level gazzilion dollar program they lower the carrier frequency for each level. But the trick is - you need to pay hundreds of dollars for each subsequent level. I do not subscribe to the idea that lowering the carrier increases the effectiveness. However, I do think that low-frequency binaural signals are better suited to ride on low carriers, while higher-frequency signals - on higher carriers, which is a common theme with TMI - they use carrirers much lower, as well as much higher than CRI, depending on what we are trying to accomplish, so the CRI and AwakenedMind's statements that they use "lower  carriers than anybody else" are not quite true. The carrier signal in the Abyss track is scheduled (from 160 to 80 Hz) to correspond current binaural frequency. The Level1 Hosolync uses constant 140Hz carrier, while Level2 rides on 112Hz. If they keep going in this fasion (factor of 0.8), this track is somewhere around Holosync Level4.

The file is 192kbps Lame-encoded mp3, which should keep the balance between the file size and the quality. If you are a purist, contact me and I'll send you 320kbps .OGG version or something ;).

If you use it, or compare it against other products, please post your experiences here.

And remember: the binaural stimulation will not make things happen for you - the signal merely guides your brain to appropriate frequencies, but it is your job to follow them. To quote The Bob, "these excercises... do not create change in you. Only you can change you" (that was pulled from the memory, but I'm pretty sure thats what he said).

Big thanks to Adrian for his cooperation.

alt0xFF

P.S. Do not listen to this track (or try to enter trance state, or meditate) while driving.

Hi,
I have recently downloaded the binaural abyss and the boxed nirvana tracks.
they are in mp3 format.

I burned them to audio cd format using the nero burning software but the sounds have seemed to changed and the bit rate has increased from 192 kbps to 1408 kbps. Even the track gets stuck around 10 minutes of listening and it doesnt play anymore. I cant listen to them sitting in front of the computer as it is very uncomfortable because i start feeling sleepy while sitting.eh!

so the question is, how do i burn it to audio cd so that i can listen to it on my cd player and that too without any changes in the tracks .i.e. the audio cds should have all the sound properties and bit rates equal to the original one.

I was so excited but this problem is driving me crazy. please help.
I hope my question is clear.

how do i burn the mp3 track to audio cd using nero software without any changes in the sound properties or bit rates or anything?

thanks in advance .

bye

Strange.. never had any problems with Nero.
But your comment about bit rates makes me uncertain whether you're trying to create the right type of CD?

Double-check you've tried the following steps:
1) Open Nero
2) Create a standard Music -> Audio CD (note: don't select MP3!)
3) Drag the mp3 from Explorer straight into the track listing window

If that still doesn't work, try converting the mp3 to a .wav file first (using FreeRip or similar - http://www.mgshareware.com/frmmain.shtml) and then try the same 3 steps.

Hope that helps.

I want to thank for the abyss software, free one. I tried abyss yesterday to see if it will silence my mind  ( which endlessly disturbs with incoherent thoughts /self importance day dreams and all types of energy draining stuff. ). Since I am constantly under  psychic attack, I want to give it a try to abyss as a means of getting into trance to get relief from my mind.  *** IT WORKED *** . I could able to relax my self and I was cool and relaxed  for more than 10 hrs , even though i have not reached deep trance.  I see less mental activity. I tried today again. To day I see lot of thoughts and involuntary Images keep on coming to disturb any concentration ( My general problem is What ever I learned seems to be getting disturbed/corrupted/priority getting changed /forgotten  in the sleep ).  I see the same problem when I am doing  any concentration exercises including bruce's mental awareness exercises. Does any body know how I can stop these types of end less mental disturbance.

thanks gnomad ,
I had done exactly as you have told me. i had converted it to audio cd.

but the properties have changed.

i have changed it to wav format using the nero encoder also but still there are changes.

I think it would be better to just buy an mp3 player.

do u think the change in the bit rates would matter.

maybe there is some problem with the sound card or something.

do u think , listening to it sitting in front of the computer would give any benefits as to relaxation and heightened awareness.

One more thing does this track all increase the threshold of stress like it is said for holosync users.

bye,

Sorry I can't help with your Nero issues - I guess your soundcard might be related, but not sure.  Alternatively, you could try WinAmp which can also burn MP3s to CD - or for Boxed Nirvana you could get BwGen and recreate it as a Wav file yourself..

I would have to say that any repeated time spent in a relaxed trance state helps you cope with stress, so yes, taking an hour out regularly to listen to either of these tracks should definitely help  :)

Hey g...
I dled boxed nirvana this morning and after about 30 min of deep meditation i started it... I must say it was amazing... i started off with secondary energy work then lead into the charkas from there... nothing really there but that was my first time to actually work them. By this time i was in a good trance and had high energy movement. I tryed a rope technique for a while but got nothing so went back to meditation.

This track will be played every day, the only problem is i don't have brain wave generator registored@^%#

I also read something u said about the wobing... If you can hear it all the time your base is to loud?? i can hear it all the time, how do i lower it

visitfaraz:
You can use winamp to generate wavs from mp3.
You just only need to switch the output to disk.

Press Ctrl+P to get the Preferences dialog box. Select Output, and select the disk writer plugin.

You can set the destination, where the wavs will be copied.

Winamp will generate wavs from the playlist currently showing.

Now you can burn the wav files with nero (they will be tracks)

Don't forget to swith back the output...

Bests:

Infinity, what do you mean by "the wobing"?
Various schools of thought as to how loud.  I think you should be able to hear the binaural beating (wavering effect) fairly clearly - just not too loud that you are unable to relax to it.

Weird. I was expecting some effect. Maybe I just have really cheap headphones and they don't shoot out all the frequencies right.

Quote from: alt0xFFLadies and Gentelmen, due to popular demand, as they say, the free binaural trance-inducing track is now available for download from Astral Pulse server (thanks to Adrian).

http://www.astralpulse.com/membersfiles/binauralabyss.zip

Good luck.

Maybee someone could say how this download (or binaural frequenys in general) have helped them in terms of their ability to actually attain a conscious OOBE.

i understand that it is unlikey the frequencys will cause an OOBE just by listening to them like you do with music, but are they effective aids in combination with usual techniques?

has anyone struggled with astral projecting but found these cds to be the the helpfull hand they needed?

You're using one of the bwgen presets, for example Boxed_Nirvana_II.bwg?

You should get steady sounds from left and right channel, and then hear the binaural beat when listening to both together, as you said.

Namaste.

Just found this thread and this post... Blackbox have you ever tried Lifeflow? www.project-meditation.org theres a sample of Level 10.
If you, after trying it, still say that transparentcorp is better, ill definitly give it a try.
