My last one for today, I promise. It is called "Drums of War."

This is more of a song, but because my lyrics are in poetry "format"...

Verse One:

Listen to the grumbling moan,
Of the death-tanks rumbling, on and on,
Think that their cause is right,
With no other reason,
To continue this fight,
Except the ignorance, that they've shown,

Listen to the ghastly roar,
Of the planes coming, as they soar,
Flying stealthy through the night,
With no real reason,
To take flight,
Revenge knocking, at their door,

Pre-Chorus:

Blood is flowing down the street,
Justice, someday, the killers will meet,
Revenge, something that it swore,
With their heads laying at its feet,

Chorus:

Look into the harrowing black,
Of the crimson skies,
Another person to torture,
As another person dies,

Look into the narrowing crack,
Of what your mind complies,
As leaders make a fool of you,
Behind your bloodshot eyes,

Verse Two:

Listen to the voice of reason,
Almost forgotten now,
Governments that should be accused of treason,
And they will be, someday, somehow,

Accross the distant shoreline,
Through the bloody moore,
Someday we will meet them,
No deaths by them, anymore,

*Instrumental*

Bridge:

Sick of all the,
Twisted lies,
Crooked smiles,
With evil inside,

Tired of all the,
Foreboding grins,
With evil beneath,
From wicked beliefs,
That all the while,
We allow to complete,

Out-Chorus:

Look into the harrowing black,
Of the crimson skies,
Another person to torture,
As another person dies,

Look into the narrowing crack,
Of what your mind complies,
As leaders make a fool of you,
Behind your bloodshot eyes,

Ending:

As I think of all the broken dreams,
The lives lost,
The ghastly screams,
Look no more for a solution,
Just let me whisper,
"Revolution"

Hi Goober

How cool is this?

During a non-lucid dream last night, there was music.  As I listened to it, I recognised the words.  After a while, I realised they were your words.  It was 'Drums of War'.

It was a great sounding track, by the way, really powerful.  :-)  Can't for the life of me remember how the tune went now.

Haha that's cool. Did it happen to be heavy ( distortion guitars and whatnot ), with an Arabic/Sort-of Egyptian feel to it?

Selski

It was heavy, but more in a heavy rock than heavy metal sort of way.  It had a real thumping beat, whilst also being very tuneful.  That's about as much as I can remember.   :-)

Haha, that sounds how it is. Once I get a recording up, I'll post it. If it ended up being the same thing, that'd be pretty cool!!
