I've always thought that there was no way these guided meditations could work, because how could you focus on projecting with someone talking to you? But do these actually help? I wonder what the experienced guys here think.
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep; because my dreams are bursting at the seams.

Yes they do work, I always meditate to a guided one. But that's just me, People might think differ.

Yeah they work, but guided astral projections are kind of weird. You might have a different kind of experience if you use a guided astral projection.

They can't hurt!

I still use them. I enjoy many techniques to acquire a good NP focus. I am always experimenting with new things. I watch almost every video that is shared on this Forum and other Forums on AP.

They are just another of the many tools to help you create and hold a NP focus. You could create your own walkthroughs as well. Some people need these guided meditations for they feel they can't get there themselves.

If you listen and do exactly what you say, you will end up getting a "sneak peek" of the NPR. I say a sneak peek because these guided meditations normally stop once you are Aping and then you are on your own. With most people, their first AP is very short, kind of like a "sneak peek". But this gets longer once you learn grounding and anchoring techniques.

Care to share some of these techniques?

This Forum, other Forums and Youtube is loaded with them. Do some research!  :-)

Well that's good news then, because I too am always looking for something to help me along my journey of learning how to AP. I will definitely be trying some of these out and seeing if they help!
