The thought has crossed my mind as well, that maybe it's a different state of consciousness. I'm amazed at the worlds just my DREAMS come up with. I remember the history of my dreams only when I'm back dreaming. The worlds, characters, and scenarios are so creative and in depth. So maybe we're actually accessing a deeper part of that section of our brain. Why not? And maybe the section CAN control or IS connected with our physical realities.

I've really had strong sensations while attempting to project after a day where I drank a Monster (a tart energy drink) I think it may be the ginsing in it.

this morning I woke up at around 5. I had gone to bed at 8ish (which is very, very abnormal for me). I stayed in a thought "limbo" thinking about day to day things and at around 7 I went back to sleep. A few mintues later I could hear this static noise. It sounded like it was coming from the middle of my brain and my lower extremedies. You know those globes with electricy in them and when you touch them it looks like it's coming out of your finger tips? That's how my brain felt. This crunching static. I felt the sensation of astral projection (OBEish as if I was trying to get out) I've been attempting to AP for about a year now with little success. I felt my astral body sitting up and going back down, I was forcing myself to get out all the while my brain felt like it was an energy storm. This is the weird part... I think I may have been dreaming because it wasn't an parrell world I was in, but one similiar to this. I understand that things in my room could be in different places, but they were different colour and different accessories. Even while I was "out of my body" I felt these horrible brain crunching electricities. I finally decided that even if this wasn't my room, it was probably a dream so I should just enjoy it and test it. I reached my hand into a wall.... yes..... and it went through, I could feel the texture of the wall. I went through the wall and outside-- it didn't look like my physical world outside. It took me a moment to realize I was floating. The colours were all magnificent. I saw many people doing "every day" things and I figured those were the ones awake. THEN I noticed other people flying, in a superman style (with one arm out). The road looked similiar to one in this town, but it wasn't... So I asked one of the men flying (he was wearing a bycicler outfit) why he was flying that way and responded that it was the fastest way to fly. Then I began feeling my body again. I think my body was flipping out, because it was hard to actually get in and stay. My head was still crunching until a little while after I woke up.

Now, I would have hocked this up to a lucid dream... but I looked at this mobile that I have in my room. It has a disco ball and a small twisting wire of beads in the middle, and on the arms are golden wires twisted to hold water drop like "crystals" (they're giants beads, my mother made it). And one of the wires holding the giant beads WASN'T just moving, it looked like it was bending BACK AND FORTH very, very fast. After staring at it for ten seconds it stopped and went back to normal.

I really need to know what happened, I don't think it was astral projection--- my brain was going crazy.
