so theres one "me" thats in the physical world and a second "me" thats in the astral world. did I get that right?
if I change my focus to the astral "me" the physical "me" falls asleep (or it is in a state in which its not capable of taking action). does that mean that while I have the focus on my physical "me" the astral "me" is asleep in the astral plane? if not then what do the astral "me"s  do all the time?

its just that astral plane is a very unknown territory for me to to travel in. a few times I have been absolutely freaked out because I felt some other beings around me in the room as I was in the astral plane. its hard for me to recall why I was sometimes so afraid  during my APs (not every time). Sometimes I asked for help in the name of all the saints I could remember of...even though im not religious myself. A few times I was fighting for my life and I genuinely believed I was on the verge of destruction - at least thats what it felt like.

there rules are different in the astral plane...its all about energies (what ever it means :D). some weird wind or something might be able to kill you in no time...I dont have a clue what might be lurking out there for me (as I have read in Carlos Castaneda books theres a lot of things out there which might trap or even kill you)

To be honest lot of the fears I have might come from what I have read in Carlos Castaneda books, but anyways Im probably like a baby in the astral world ..so I assume that im always on the verge of destruction while Im out there - and this gives me an extra boost if I get out of my body.

I cant wait till I die. Im hoping that in the moment of dying I will get the final boost of energy to drop evereything and have a clear vision of the world.

The best moments in my life have been when I felt like I was on the verge of dying - most of them during AP.
