They sound very much like you astral projected! once you get the hang of 'seeing' in the astral, its very clear, even in the dark. But when your not expecting to project, or haven't done it very often, your vision can be zero - to very dull, the best thing to do in this case is to will yourself to project further away from your body.

I'm not too sure about the whole 'other person in your bed' thing... maybe its an entity trying to scare you back into your body? I have often projected, only to find i could not move off my bed, and that there was a creepy man with a growling cat right next to me on my bed.

I must admit, once you've been in the astral, you know that you have... its all very real. But then again, as i said, when your not expecting to project, it might feel a bit unreal....

maybe you were just in and out of lucid dream and astral awareness?

Hi  :-)

You were projecting! I sometimes get this, when I wake up in the middle of the night and then go back to sleep, I'll automatically project. Usually when it happens this way, I don't have much control over the whole episode. I sometimes 'stick' to the walls in my astral bedroom, like static! (last time i was trying to hard to get away i ended up zooming all around my walls and ceiling lol) and have a hard time opening my eyes. I usually get scared and frustrated by this point and zoom straight back to my body, lol.

Considering you've only just started to practise 2 weeks ago, this is really good  :-)

When I'm on my way out of my body, after the vibration stage, when I can actually feel myself 'lift out', I often hear voices and noises, often not so nice ones - likes screams or growls, which usually scare me back into my body! (although i think that is their intention!).

After doing an on-line course in astral projection I have come to believe that these noises are a mixture of energy buzzes and cracks, our own ego's, and also the odd astral entity now and then.

The best thing to do is just ignore them completely, don't let it have any effect on you or else you will probably end up being zoomed back into your body in a bit of a fright - ruining the whole experience (and, if you anything like me, not projecting for a while afterwards because it scared you! lol)

From what you described, I would say that it is probably a mixture of all the things you heard during the day & your ego's blabbing away. So nothing to worry about  :-) It shows that you're very close to fully projecting into the astral.

Hi  :-)  Firstly, congrats on your first experience!

I find it so much easier to project whilst lying on my back, I seem to just go straight to sleep if I lie on my stomach. I often have exactly what you described - 'rolling' over and finding that your actual body hasn't move along with you! A very odd experience when you're not expecting it, lol.

Although I don't know much about the solar plexus, I know that whenever I experience 'astral pain' (like from a negative entity attack) I feel it in my solar plexus. Also, if I rush back to my body (when I've had a bad/scary experience) I get the pressure you were saying about in my solar plexus. The solar plexus chakra is in charge of the nervous system so I guess it's the most sensitive part of your astral body and so that's why everything feels as though its happening from there  :?  - I'm afraid I don't know much about it.

It's really common to feel as if you're released through the solar plexus, I've often read about it - and it is one of the techniques to project, so I've read in numerous books anyway.

Hmm...I haven't really provided any useful advice here have I, lol  But i just thought I'd share my experience on the matter all the same :-D
