That's pretty cool. Let us know if more of these memories come to you.

I used to have what I now think were OBEs when I was younger. At the time I just thought them to be weird dreams but I noticed how it felt quite different than my normal dreams. I would float Indian style around my house. I did this 2-3 times a week for several years. When I would wake up I would have vibrations and I was usually in sleep paralysis. It never struck me that it could be an OBE until I recently had one and I remembered it feeling exactly the same.

Welcome to Dreams! / White wolves in a lucid dream.
January 06, 2009, 03:20:03
My last dream of the night started and it was a continuation of the previous dream. I was in a truck driving home from school. This should have tipped me off since I graduated almost 2 years ago and that I was driving the tractor of an 18 wheeler home from school. Then I started to remember in great detail all the other dreams I had that night. This made me realize I was dreaming.  The very first thing I tried to do was fly out through the roof of the truck. Didn't happen. I thought "That's strange." Next I tried to stick my hand through the roof. Nope. So, I decided to keep driving down a familiar road. The scenery kept getting more and more beautiful as I went. Then I noticed a pack of about 6 white wolves standing in the road looking at me. I slowed down to pass and the whole time they kept thier gaze on me. After I passed they walked off into the woods and all the beauty reverted back to the normal mundane surroundings. I think the rest of the dream was pretty insignificant but that one scene was amazing.

I was laying in bed watching a show on irukandji jellyfish and decided to take a nap. When I started to drift off I heard my name one time like someone was laying next to me in bed. The first thought I had  was "I'm going to be out of body." Next thing I know I am on my way to the kitchen to get a glass of water. I noticed my breathing was rather slow. That's when it hit me that I was still asleep in my bed. I stood there and finished off the glass just noticing things that were going on so I could try to validate this experience after I returned. I took note of the glass I was drinking from(glass with a blue painted design), what rooms people were in(stepmom in the band room and dad just went into bathroom), and what lights were on from where I could see(band room, kitchen, and living room). I willed myself back into my body and sure enough I was still laying in the same position were I had fallen asleep. I got up to try to validate my experiences. The "oh wow" feeling hit me when I saw my dad was still in the bathroom. I went into the kitchen. Sure enough, same glass but it wasn't empty. All the same lights were on. Only difference was my stepmom was just pulling up in the driveway.

I'm still quite excited about this and I hope to do a bit of exploring my next time out.

Well I'm not sure if it was an OBE or what but one time I thought the effects had worn off until I walked from my living room to the kitchen through the wall.

I have used Salvia Divinorum several times before. If you want to be in control of the experience then this is definitely not the way to go in my opinion. Not to say you wouldn't learn from a Salvia experience. Do your research and if you do decide to try it out take it slow.

As far as lowering your vibrations when taking it, and this is just my opinion, it depends greatly on your frame of mind when you take it. As long as you go into it with a positive attitude your experience will most likely be the same.

Respect the herb and it will respect you.

I just got the Wave I - Discovery set. I settled down yesterday evening and decided to give "Orientation" a go. I followed all the instructions and found myself very relaxed and in a light trance. I kept my focus on the music after the instructions stopped so my mind wouldn't wander. In what I would guess to be the last five minutes or so I suddenly realized that I was looking at my feet covered by a blanket. Odd thing is I could feel my eyelids still shut and I knew that the blanket was really on the floor at the foot of the bed. Everything else was how it actually was in the room as far as I recall.

Later that night I was pretty tired but decided to listen to "Introduction to Focus 10." I went through the procedures and found myself in a slightly deeper trance than before. The amount of time between Bob's   (I think that's his name) seemed very, very long though. The hypnogogic images were awesome. I've never seen them so vividly and they were so organized looking. Almost like a spider web that was constantly moving and changing shape but the left was like a mirror image of the right. After the hypnogogics faded I found myself in the 3d blackness as I've heard it described on these boards. I think I "clicked out" for a bit at this point. When I came back around I saw my room again but my dog was standing over me. She wasn't really in the room and there was a flag missing from the wall. It startled me to suddenly see her over me and I snapped back to fully waking consciousness.

Could I have been on the verge of projection or do you think something else was going on? Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

After you experience it enough times these feelings will probably stop. Just keep your mind focused on your goal and not the feelings. How often do you attempt?

Oh ok. Thanks for clearing it up.

I was having a lucid dream and decided to examine my hands since I had not seen the melting hands before. They didn't melt away though. They looked just like my real hands and held their shape firmly.

So, do you think that it happens for most people because they expect it to? When I did it I went about it in a passive way, not really expecting this or that but just examining.

Everybody reacts differently but here is what I can say for myself. Since I've started meditation and energy work I don't like smoking anymore, and have since quit. I get way too high off of just two very small hits whereas before it would take me about 2 bowls to get toasty. I would only assume it wouldn't be very easy to project after smoking with the way your thoughts become. Not to mention the short term memory problems.

I was having a lucid dream this morning. I was flying around over a trailer park that I used to live in. After a bit of flying around I started to lower back towards the ground but not but my own will. I still wanted to fly but decided to go with it anyway. After I landed I managed to convince myself that I wasn't dreaming even though I was just zooming around in the sky. At this point I was no longer lucid but my memory of the rest of the dream was still just as vivid as when I was lucid.

Anybody else have any experiences involving crazy dream logic?

That very well could have been the case but I figured I would at least being doing something remotely similar in my dream.

Not that I nor my family are aware of.

Welcome to Dreams! / Not quite sure what happened.
December 17, 2008, 04:58:06
I woke up one night rolled over and pet my cat for a moment then decided to get up. I was still quite drowsy and I don't recall why I decided to get up. Anyway I walked out my door and the next thing I remember is becoming lucid in a dream. When I awoke in the morning I went to the kitchen and discovered that a glass that I know for sure that I finished before going to sleep was filled almost all the way. When I arose during the night could I have slipped into a dream state and still physically carried out the actions of filling my cup with water and going back to bed?

It comes on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network.

I know this is an older thread but Dr. Orpheus from Venture Bros can project.

I've noticed that since I have been keeping record of my dreams I am much more aware of happenings. Maybe this could help you out if you don't do so already.

I awoke after a dream this morning and I layed in bed without moving or opening my eyes to recount what happened. I then sat up to grab my dream journal and realized that I wasn't physically sitting up. I got over excited and it felt like I slammed back down on my bed and like someone smacked the hell out of me. I was also pretty amazed when I physically opened my eyes and realized that they were previously shut although I was able to see my room already albeit a little hazy for lack of a better description. It was a pretty amazing experience since it was my first, although partial, conciuos projection.

I should add that by the time I was waving my "hands" around that I was no longer aware of external sounds and that I did not reach the vibrational state.

I'll start off by saying that I am quite new to meditation, energy work, trance, etc. I've been meditating for about a month and working on trance and energy for roughly 2 weeks.

So, I was meditating in my friends room while she was on the computer in another room. After just a few minutes I started to be able hear very clearly when she would click the mouse or when the 2 dogs with her would stir. I'm guessing this was from heightened awareness? I started to feel a pressure at my 3rd eye. As I focused more on it the pressure would grow. Once the pressure reached its height it was like a dim light clicked on and I could feel a light tingling sensation over my entire body. I remained with my eyes shut the entire time and continued to focus on my 3rd eye. Then in this dim light I was able to see my hands and arms but in a bluish glow. I could control them just like my physical arms/hands. I was waving them around in front of me examining them, making gestures with them. I did this for what seemed to me maybe 30-45 seconds before I lost focus and decided I was hungry.

So am I on the right track to my goal of consciously projecting? Also, would anyone be able to give me a little information on what I experienced?
