Welcome to Dreams! / My car loves me
December 20, 2003, 05:21:56
well dreams are about symbols. the beutiful woman is a symbol for all that is good in you. The pure and honest stuff - you know things which are true to you.

the beautiful woman also has a connection with your car. cars are symbols for your personality and particularly your own independence

You are trying to save the good stuff but something gets in the way and yiou beat the crap out. has someone tried to stiffle your independence recently and you so to speak beat the crap out of em?

Welcome to Dreams! / Was it a dream?

well dream paralysis is  maybe not a good thing. It is generally when you fall into dream sleep without falling asleep. You have fallen into a trance like feeling.

I know when I had this i saw it as a good thing - connected with pyschic stuff and spiritual devel;opement but it can also be linked with isolation and depression.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Plague coming?

difficult one this - but a beautifukl river , like all water is connected to emotion, and in this case good emotion.

The insects could symbolise anything - mainly something which is all - consumptive -

But if you thought this would make a good painting then maybe this is a form of inspiration artistically... and a great form it is too..,. do you do any painting...dreams are often a source of inspiration ...very directly. You can wake up and immediately want to paint or write a poem, or solve a math equation. the brain has solved some puzzle in your sleep.

well if you live by an airport then planes are likely to enter your conciousness. It doesn't mean anything in particular. I believe in prophetic dreams but maybe not yours.

In my experience prophetic dreams come true the day after the dream. Its very unusual for them to be two three weeks before.

Much as I would like to say your dream was prophetic I don't think it is. If your dream was disturbed by aircraft then that might enter your dreams.

speaking personally I had a dream the night before 9-11 which I believe was prophetic. But it had all the common marks of a dream coming true - especially the bad ones.

I dreamt that a man was looking at me and he just looked at me and others like me and said - this is all your fault. When I woke the dream felt an important dream.

It wasn't a particularly strong precognitive dream - many are not - the symbolism is weak, indeed very weak. But since I am very strongly allied to the jewish cause against the palistiniens then I saw some symbolism - I am against the muslim cause - along with people like me.

I am sure this dream will not convince anyone but I believe that most pyschic dreams are juist simple indications of things about to happen mostly the next day.

I'm not trying to say that your dream was not precognitive only that there are many other explanations.

good times

I made a computer program for this type of thing. just every five minutes or so it would beep . then this would slightly disturb my sleep enough to jump me into remembering dreams and entering lucidity.

Welcome to Dreams! / Question

Well I am not always convinced about lucid dreams. Just because you are aware of a dream then it doesn't mean you are dreaming lucidly. It may have some symbolism in the dream.

If you are refusing people entry through a door it may mean you are refusing entry of people into certauin parts of your personality.Rooms are symbols for your personality. And if your dream indicates that you think these people are bad people - then it could symbolise that you are refusing people because they are bad.

thats one interpretation

Welcome to Dreams! / death in dreams
December 04, 2003, 11:08:21
well death in dreams means nothing particularly bad. You just are ending one chapter of your life. It can mean the end of one thing and the beginning of another.

bUt in your case it rather seems the thing thats ending is being replaced by something sullen...a dark empty place.

I'm afraid it dosn't sound good.

Welcome to Dreams! / Fear of never flying
December 04, 2003, 10:59:48
flying is a common feature of dreams ...and mostly it symbolises freedom. But obviously if you crash into things then thats no good.
