I've never done it before either. It's amazing how much faith me and Werp Weg Alles can have in something we have never done before. If I didn't have a close friend that did this kind of stuff I probably would have gave up already and classified the "astral projecting community" as the same kind of people that insist that they saw elvis or aliens or something.

With the things your seeing and hearing maybe you should watch the movie called A Beautiful Mind. I think a similar thing happened to that guy in the movie he ended up a college professor and won the Nobel prize. I don't think they all turn out that good though.

I've heard of one of my friend's friends trying to have an obe and falling in a hallway while walking

There was also this one time when my friend said they were fighting some form of dark force and had their bodies go through one of those baseball fences for the dugout without breaking it

I'm not saying to worship the devil or do anything destructive but do realize that you cannot have a good without an equal evil.

I was hoping someone would make a machine that makes etheric matter and we would  be able to wear gloves in the astral that would affect physical things.
but that would put the world in a little bit of chaos with people throwing chairs at others and such.

Ive been thinking about the time when the earth runs out of its oil supplies. Will Astral travel possibly take the place of car travel? Will a vast majority of humans learn how to project in light of the gasoline they cant afford for their car?

I really enjoy posts like these.
I've never projected before but statements such as You are where your awareness is helps us novice folk to understand exactly what Astral Projection is.

Shifting your awareness is much easier to grasp than most of the techniques posted here.

I have a serious problem,

Ever since I moved from New York to North Carolina I get no obe sensations whatsoever. Ive never Astral Projected before but I used to get the vibration feeling whenever I try to sleep. Now that I live in North Carolina I can't sense any of this at all.
Could being away from the ocean be the cause?

Ive been talking to my friend Anthony who projects and he said the color "blobs" I see in my eyelids will form into a spiral portal looking kinda thing as long as I don't try too hard or think too much.

Hi my name's Chris and as a new user I would like to make my first post.

I've been reading these boards for the past few months and I've been trying a few different techniques to project myself.

Whenever I attempt to do so (usually at night) I can hear and sense things around me but I cannot see anything but Purple and Yellow blotches of color in what I think are my eyelids.

Here's the thing :
I think someone or something is trying to stand in my path when I try to project.

Anybody have any experience with this?
