That is a great question! I am trying to think back on my experiences while I was pregnant with my children...I know I dreamt alot and seeing how I haven't been trying for a conscious projection but for a few months now..I just don't know..I don't think it would be dangerous for either though.
It poses another question ..I tend to believe that once you "become" pregnant the "soul" of the child doesn't necessarily stay in the womb the entire time, that would be boring..lol. I think they pop in and out of the womb periodically, of course the soul would know when the time was right to be in the womb to be born into this world. Perhaps we even visit each other whilst in our dreams in the higher realms?? Maybe that is why mothers feel such a strong bond with the unborn child? Well, that is my opinion..I am interested in what other's think of this.. Really good guestion!
