So, I've been seeing the number eleven everywhere. It seems like every time I look at a clock, 11 is the ending half. 11:11, 7:11,4:11,2:11, and 3:11 have been comming up even more frequently than others. Then, today my mom went to the library with my brothers. I asked her to pick up my reservations, and when she comes home with my book on Astral Projection, she says, "I used to be really into this stuff when I was your age". Is this just a coincidence or something else? I've heard that seeing 11 a lot means that your spiritual teacher is trying to contact you. Does this have anything to do with my mom?

Hello, I'm a beginner and everyday I come closer and closer to APing. I was wondering: what does it feel like to astral project? What does the astral plane feel like? What level of senses do you have, compared to the physical world? What kind of world is it: what does it look, feel, and sound like? Thanks!!!

Hello!

A little background: I'm a freshman in high school and I have been interested in meditation for about two years now. I just discovered Astral Projection and Lucid dreaming about 3 months ago. I haven't had an OOBE yet, but I have had a lucid dream that lasted about 30 seconds >.< 

anyway, I was attempting to astral project again this morning (there is no school today), and I had a small taste of success. I was trying out a new technique that involved imagining a force pulling on your astral body. I tried it to, again, no avail, but I didn't want to lose my trance, so I decided to attempt a partial separation. So, I instead imagined the force pulling on my force, and after some concentration, i could literally feel my astral form being pulled away from my physical body! I contained my excitement, but when I attempted a full separation, I reconnected completely

However, I am closer to success than ever before! I'm very excited!

So I have a couple questions:
1. Is it OK to open my eyes at this point? (I always meditate with my eyes closed, but one has to be able to see in the astral world  )
2. What are the steps/requirements I need to meet in order to astral project?
3. Is there anything I am doing wrong? Any pointers?
