Welcome to Dreams! / Daily dreams
November 21, 2003, 08:48:24
There may be 4000 members but I don't see that many post everyday, hehe.

Anyway, I had a few dreams that I remember last night, most of them make no sense to me, but the last dream I had I was wondering if anyone could help me interpret.

I was walking around with a friend in some city, anyway, there were worms everywhere, and these worms would possess you if you let the burrow into you.  They were covering everything, but most of them weren't bothering us.

Right before I woke up one jumped at me and begain burrowing into my hand, I grabbed it right before it got all the way in and pulled it back out (which was pretty gross).

This is the second time in a few months that I've had a dream of worms burrowing in my hand, pretty disturbing stuff, I've tried to look up dream symbols to see what worms represent but I could not find it.  I usually don't bother with reading about dream symbols because I think a worm to me is not the same thing as it is to you, but my curiousity was piqued.

Welcome to Dreams! / Dream scenario

Hello Nay, thanks for the input.  I was thinking that the 'storage' room was perhaps representing the way I felt, or represented suppressed emotions and events in my life.  The fact that I'm only there when I'm in a really dark mood makes me think that too, perhaps I find the setting depressing and so it is created by my mind when I feel depressed.

I'm not sure... thanks for the insight though.

Welcome Lifeorange,

I recently had my first experience and I am still a little unsure of whether or not it was a dream or OBE, but because I was concious and attempted to leave my body, I think it was an OBE.

Anyway, I could fly gracefully, or atleast it felt graceful, but I couldn't see anything after about 3 seconds, I was what Jeff called 'Astrally blind'.

Also I did not feel like my outlook on life was changed, but I think this has to do with my uncertainity (is that a word?) of the situation.  Anyway, just wanted to let you know there is someone in the same boat as you [;)], I need to pick yoga back up though.

I have to call some people out.  I hate to tell you, but you can't type 100 words per minute.  Maybe in a 5 second timing that takes the average.  But if you do a one minute, timing, I guarantee it will not be that high.  I'm talking about a timing on an actual timing program.  I could type something like "The cat ran fast", you know, something with really short words all the way through but that doesn't really count.

I took 3 typing classes throughout high school (yeah, I'm a slacker), and I averaged about 55wpm which was the average for all the fast typers, between 50-60.   People at my work think I type extremely fast and I work at a IT company (and like I said 55 wpm).

The only person I've ever seen type faster is my sister at 75 wpm.  She is now a court reporter and uses a stenographer with which she can do like 300 wpm, but that is totally different.

Hello Mustardseed.  I'm not sure if I said I will only accept 'knowing', because I will also except 'not knowing'.

And yes, experiences can be deceiving.  I could be sitting in a mental hospital right now in a straight jacket imagining myself typing on the computer at work.  But, at some point you have to draw the line and say "I know".  I know I'm at work right now in the physical.  If I'm not, then oh well, I'm crazy and no one is reading this post anyway [;)].

I do not claim to know a lot about the truth of existence.  I listed two things 'I know', these are things that I experienced.  I only "know" what I experienced, and perhaps in the end, all I really know is what I experienced, whether or not those experiences explain anything is another question.

I don't want to know the future.  Think about how much it sucks when someone tells you what is about to happen in a movie, or tells you how it ends.  You don't even want to watch it anymore.  I don't want my life spoiled in the same way[;)].
#107
Well, if they find me, I will not back down.   Weirdies....

But I admit, I'm kinda sc-c-c-c-ared.
#108
I get up and go to the bathroom before I wake up quite often.  Is this an OBE that we're just not concious of?

Welcome lickerish [:D]  Oh, I also stated in the other post that I'm an empath.  I think everyone can do it, it is just heightened in some people and they are actually aware of it.

I can usually tell a lot about someone by their eyes, but I think I might just be perceptive.  Anyway, welcome, and I look forward to reading more of your posts.[;)]

Good post.  One thing though, where did the number 144,000 come from?

1.  Sometimes I can picture scenes very well 9/10, most of the time 6/10.

2.  I hear songs perfectly in my head 10/10, too bad I can't mimick the singers :).

3.  projection ability:  0.3!! Yeah!

Oh, and about the third eye TOOL song.  I recently read Carlos Casteneda's 'Teachings of Don Juan', and I'm about 99% sure that the lyric from that song that goes

" stick my hand into his shadow to pull the pieces from the sand. Which I attempt to reassemble to see just who I might have been. I do not recognize the vessel, but the eyes seem so familiar. Like phosphorescent desert buttons singing one familiar song...

The part about the phosphorescent desert buttons singing one familiar song would be mescalito showing himself in the form of the glowing peyote plants, and the familiar song would be their unique song that mescalito gives them...  If you've read the book you know what I'm talking about, otherwise I make no sense, hehe.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Itchy
November 14, 2003, 14:32:40
That's a hard one.  It might be caused my energy blockages so perhaps working with the 'NEW' system would help.  Whenever this happens, I usualy scratch it, then try to focus on my breath and let the itching sensation alone.
#118
Well I cannot currently conciously project, due to lack of consistant practice.  But I believe any method is easier to use once you get to this point.  I can get into trance this way, mind awake, body asleep, I just focus on the buzzing and my breath.

The rope exercise seems good, but I usually try to create the feeling of rising up, like the way you feel going up in an elevator.

Welcome to Dreams! / Arg! Lucid or OBE, not sure
November 14, 2003, 14:01:59
Hmm... its' been over a year, I think I need to re-read Astral Dynamics [:D].  Thanks for the input though.
#120
Yes Ramiel, when I practice NEW, I go over my whole body, and I get my whole body to that state, it feels like I'm humming all over, or buzzing as you said.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / What is the Astral Pulse

I personally come here to discuss.  To discuss anything that is interesting to me.  I come here to read of other's experiences, and to share mine (limited as they may be at this time).

I personally don't care what 'education' people have on the subject matter, I would rather hear about their experiences, and not what they were taught or read in a book.
#122
I wake up into another dream more often than not.  I usually walk to the bathroom, and then I wake up for real.
#123
I know what you're saying Nagual.  In the end basically everything is interpreted by me though.

By the way, what is your avatar from?  I like.
