When you are losing your feeling, do an ap technique, something that you enjoy doing.   It might be surfing, playing a sport, drawing or anything.   If it does not work, keep going to get more relaxed.   Take deep slow breaths or whatever you do to get more relaxed.  When you become so relaxed you will slip out of your body or float out of your body.   If it does not happen do an ap technique again.   It will work.   When you are extremely relaxed it happens.   Do not try to bring things on as it happens by itself and it can happen in different ways.   I can move my astral self to move away from my body but it took time.    It did not happen over night.    You could keep trying and eventually you will get there.   The ap author Buhlman says to say door now.   It will work provided you believe it will work.  You can imagine you are rolling out of your body.   I did that technique and it worked.   As you found that our minds has to stay relaxed.

When you loose feeling in your hands, legs etc. you are ready to ap.    Do an ap technique to get out of your body.   If you feel yourself spinning or turning, legs or arms in different positions and it is not your physical parts, spiritually move away from your body.   There are times when your physical arms or legs move or jerk and that wakes you up.   That is disappointing when that happens but that is the way it is.

Thanks Lightbeam.   If you watch disturbing things then that can make ap harder.   If you watch good things then that is OK.   It is good to realise that.

Hi all, does TV, computer and other technology make ap harder.   It might stir up your mind and make relaxing harder.   It might be better to listen to music or read before you try to ap.   Does it make any difference to you if you watch TV or not.

Your technique sounds great.    I am going to start doing that all the time.   At times my body twitches, arms or legs come up.   I do not like it when that happens because it pulls me out of that ap state.    I feel I have to start again.   You are on the right path.   Keep persevering with it.   You will get there.

personalreality     What works for one person may not be best way to do things for another person.   We do whatever is best and the easiest way to ap.

Hi all, I find getting intent is easy when I am stepping out of my body.   When I am in the astral getting that intent never works.    I have made a big beak through in getting what I want to happen.   This morning I imagined myself turning over.    I could feel myself turn over so I knew I could get out of my body.   I stepped out of my body.    I have been saying to myself for weeks and weeks I can do anything I want and it is easy.   I can now turn the door handle and go out through the door.    I looked to see what I was wearing and I was not impressed to see that I was wearing underwear.    I said I am wearing throusers.   Trousers came on me.   I was wearing trousers that had strange colours.    I was not impressed but at least I was wearing trousers so I did not worry about it.     I thought I want to see Tisha, my deceased cat.   It took a little while but she appeared.   I could not do any of those things before no matter how hard I tried.   Now I can do it.

It is a shame that you were afraid when you were being pulled out of your body.    I love it when it happens.    It cannot hurt you.   It is like going on a joy ride except it is a lot better.   If your numbness is the same as my numbness it means you can spiritually leave your body.   You have to be quick otherwise it will end and you will not be able to leave your body.   My numbness does not last for minutes.   It is quicker than that.

There are times when it is very easy and times when it is hard.   Lumaza gave you good advice.   Sometimes it is good to have a break and try again.   You might surprise yourself by having a break.   If you keep falling asleep, you need to ask yourself am I too tired or are you in a too comfortable position.   There are times when I think I would like to ap but I feel tired.   I still try to ap and it is no surprise that I fell asleep.

Thanks for that Lumaza.   Another mistake I made was I should have opened my eyes, astral eyes.   I could have seen what was around me.   It would have been obvious that I was out of my body.   It has happened before when I was traveling and my eyes were open.    I could see lots of things.    It was a great experience.   I hope to do it again and again.

Hi all, this morning I could feel I was traveling out of my body.   I was going fast and I was traveling for a while.   I thought I have to get out of my body and of course it wrecked it.   When I woke up I realised that I was already out of my body.   This happened about five times.   Was I being pulled out of my body or did my inner self decided to go out traveling.    Perhaps no one can give an answer as no one may know.   I used to think that my inner self comes out of my body by itself.   Now I am not sure.

You do not have to have sp to ap.   I have not had sp for years and I ap.

 personalreality I agree with what you are saying.    I could be lying there and nothing happening so I do an ap technique.   Some weeks ago I did not get any vibrations.   I imagined I was leaning forward and I completely came out of my body.   The problem was it felt very real.   I thought I was physically getting out of my body so I wrecked it.    I thought I will have to go back to bed and try again.  I zapped straight back into my body.   I do different ap techniques to get out of my body and I do not have any ap sensations.

What is wrong with focusing on the vibrations.   I do it a lot and that is how I ap.

You were extremely close to ap.   You panicked and that was the end of that.   Next time if you can do not panic and allow yourself to lift.   If you allow yourself to lift you will be completely out of your body.

I read in an ap book and it said, if you are not sure your experience was real then it was not real.   It also said, if you know it was real then it was real.   I agreed with this.   I do not always agree with what I read.

I do not take drugs and I know that my ap is real. 

By asking this forum the question you will never be satisfied.    It cannot be proven by us.  It has to be proved by you.

Affirmations are very powerful.   It is one of the main ingredients to ap.   What you said is excellent advice.

Perhaps you were too slow in getting out of your body and that is why it ended.   It used to happen to me a long time ago.   If I took too long to get out of my body, it would end.

Hi all, I was reading an ap book and it said, if you exercise vigorously for about an hour in the middle of the day, it will be easier to ap.   Do you think this is correct.
