I hadn't even considered the signs being a symbol, there were so many others, I overlooked their possable meanings. Be careful MajorTom, if you keep giving me such excellent ideas, I'll be poking you in the ribs for opinions on a regualar basis. LOL

EDIT: An interesting bit of information I found out when I bought a telescope. If you use a red light to read/write in the dark (your penlight for example) your eyes will not have to re-adjust to the dark.

Ok, I can hear the ringing in my left inner ear very well and slighty in the right. The difference being I can control the volumn in the left at night when I consentrate. I'll think of it as tinnitus and not get overly excited about something that could be nothing in my case. Thanks

As you can see, I've been busy dreaming aout OBE's last night, as was my intent, which usually provides a good guide as ow to interpret them.

Old  city  and OBE

Keywords: tram/train, old city from past, a point was made in the dream, easier to find one's way in the older cities, not as easy to get lost, more road signs, and to go for those cities as if I had choice.

Experience: I found myself in an old train or tram. It could have around the turn of 19th century or early 20th century (were there trams back then?). A point was made in the dream, namely that to as easier to find one's way in the older cities while OBE. Not as easy to get lost, since cites were smaller with more road signs. I should go for those cities if I had a choice.

Category: Dream
Setting: City from past
Players: Myself
Symbols: Tram/train = Travel/OBE navigation

Comments and guesses: Not sure what the old city represents. Maybe an encouragement to keep things simple while OBE, and do things the old fashioned way.

Hey, nifty Coincidence. I dreamed about a train and city the same night! Only mine was a freight train carrying propane and the city I was heading to was futuristic. The only road signs I saw indicated the radiation levels in that particular area. Ok...that had nothing to do with your dream I just thought they were neat similarities.
EDIT: I just realized I made another point. Though the imagary might have been similar, the actually meanings of the symbols differ drastically, further proving, most those dream dictionaries are a waste of cash.

A second that!
I have 31 Pink Floyd Albums, plus 2 Roger Waters albums, I think 3 of which are different versions of the wall; live in Berlin, tribute by somebody, this one had a different cover from the other. I have three other general tributes with a mix of music. I have what looks like an unoffical record of the radio versions. I also have one vinal, given to me by a guy I worked for who knew I loved Floyd.
I have two or three more rare albums to go. Anyone have a few thousand dollars they could give me?
Wait, make that 31+, I just remember I have several in my car =).

LOL anyway, my point is, all of that music, listened to countless times each, and I never once considered it to resemble discriptions of projecting. You learn somthing new everyday.

Is there a differance in the sound you guys are hearing and the general ringing in the ears associated with listening to many loud sounds for too many years?

thanx

Theres no such thing as an easy quick AP, except through practice and determination. Unless of course your lucky enough that the procces comes natural.
Now if you want to defy gravity and other awesome stunts and practice it in a quick reliable way, try Lucid dreaming. From what I've encountered, the laws of physics for dreaming are about the same for OBEing. In fact, I've never noticed a differance, though there may be one. that said, what you learn in LD's should work in OBE's and vice versa. Best off all, if OBEing is too hard. Learn to OBE from the dream. Look for a thin paperback book called Lucid dreams in thrirty days. Follow it to a T and you'll be having so many Lucid dreams you'll have to cut back ;). Its the only book I've found thus far that actually worked for me.

Wall walking is cool.

Where is his template?

Catagories & analysis! I never thought about that, I think I might add that to my journal. It's a great idea. Thanks for adding that MajorTom.

Thankyou for reminding MajorTom. I've let my journal slide way to much. I had put to much importance on recording dreams as soon as I woke up, making the journal less fun. I think the point is to write something every day, and enjoy the journal, not make it a PITA. I think I will restart my journal using the computer and word program, use a cool font, and scan in sketches of dream scenes when it suits me. Maybe print out the pages as I feel like it and add them to a three ring binder to make a book. This might make the journal more fun and in turn make me more inclined to write something everyday. I think the more dreams you can remember during day the better you recall gets, the same as it would if you recall in the morning. Sure you can write in the morning before you forget, but I never have time to write them down, not even a hint as to what they were. During the day I can sort out the order and details of dream better anyway.

Thanks again ;).

Hello! I have not logged in for awhile. Tonight when I logged in I noticed my avatar has changed! I have only uploaded one avatar and have never seen the gif now in its place. What happened? The pic I had sent was approved becuase I was able to post with it in place.
This is MY avatar:

I have have no idea where that flame thing came from, how did it happen?

Thankyou.

EDIT: To be on the safe side, I am going to resize the image so that it is within a 64X64 pixal limit, and resend. But I would still like to know why it changed.

Whenever I AP and am not aware, I'm always searching for someone. Same goes for many semi-lucid dreams. If I happened to become completly lucid in either the dream or AP I continue to search. I call out continuously but never get an answer. It's like I'm the only one there; the only one anywhere. I guess I AP for company. I've even found my self calling out to God or Jesus, "Hey! You there?! Hellloooo!!!!! <echos>"
The silence can be unnerving.

Not all of my AP's are like that, only about half. The rest I'm trying to fly and can't seem to get above the telephone lines, I keep getting tangled, what a pain. If for once I were to NOT get tangled I would fly above the clouds. I haven't seen blue skys or stars in my aps or dreams in over a year.

Uh...let me clarify that. I know I have thyroid problems, they developed two years ago and I'm taking med's for it(11 pills a day YUK). The doctor says it's most likely something I will have to live with for the rest of my life. The symptoms the disease cuase are something I'm having a slow time dealing with.
My question is, if an over active thyroid can also cuase problems with the fifth chakra.
If it can, how do I know?
What can I do about it?
How closely do the chakra effect the body?
Can unbalanced chakra cause illness or does illness cause unbalanced chakra (which came first the chicken or the egg scenario)?
How does one know if illness is caused by problems with the energy body or something else?

All of these questions came about because my doctor says the meds are working(according to blood tests) but I'm still feeling the symptoms (of course the doctors solution to everything is eradicate the thyroid completely and take more med's of a different sort). Sorry about confusing you, to me this is some what theoretical anyway, but any ideas and input is very welcome.

Thanks!

I've been reading some on chakras and saw that the thyroid is tied to the fith chakra. I'm not sure where to go with this but if I have a thyroid problem, how does that effect the chakra? Could that be some of my problem?
