Welcome to Astral Chat! / Bush vs Saddam Debate
February 25, 2003, 16:54:00
Now that really would be something to watch ,wouldn't it? It's also obvious that Bush will never agree to that.Without his aides and scriptwriters he would find it difficult to convince a priest that  God exists.

Hey all. is everyone losing interest in this experiment? I hope not 'cos it would be a shame for it not to happen.

Hey PJ.
Why dont you willfully try to Astral Project? Youre off to a better start than most and i think i can safely say that youll never regret doing it.In fact, it sounds like youve allready partially projected so why not go the whole hog. Ive only recently started but from my limited experience i can testify that its the most fun you can have with your body off [:D]

I dont think it was too advanced either kakkarot but it does rely on the individual being at least somewhat proficient with energy manipulation. Candle magic is ideal to start with because all it requires is Intent, Visualization ,and Desire.
Why haven't you tried that one urself? Id be interested to see how well it works.

MgKeeper.
How did u get on?

Sufficiant to say, perhaps, is that ANYTHING is possible. If you believe, (and there is a big difference between believing and wanting to believe) that something can be done, then it can be.To qoute the bible, which i dont do often because even though i was born christian (R.C) my beliefs are far more complicated now;Jesus said "if you can look at the mountain and KNOW that you can move it, the mountain WILL move" The wording is not exactly right but the meanings the same.

Its completely understandable ,though unfortunate that anybody who has contact with kids on a regular basis must be held under a watchfull eye untill they prove themselves trustwortrhy.IMHO Jackson is harmless but i do underatand people having different points of view. What i cant stand to see though is people forming a hasty negative opinion of anyone, or anything for that matter without bothering to look at the subject in question from all angles first.

I think maybe you should have a look around b4 u decide to do anything.Use Avatar Search Engine for wicca , witch ,pagan , magick , magic , sorcery , voudoo , hoodoo , wizardry , druid , dragon magic(k) , faerie , etc etc untill you find something you like. Also considering ur age and lack of experience try the msn group called magick and spells club

Hi Naturechick. My best advise to you is just to go ahead and do it. You have nothing to lose, if u start out with something simple then the worst that can happen is that it doesn't work.In regards to what to read ,tell me what your interested in and if i can ill suggest something. If not, either someone else here will or i will find something for you.

Its Jeet Kune Do, my mistake, and if ur in the U.S and u look hard enough ull more than likely find an instrustor in ur area. Just b carefull though because alot of instructors claim to teach Jeet Kune Do when its really their own style they teach.Try reading "Tao of Jeet Kune Do" and "The Art of Expressing the Human Body" both by the master Lee. A good film to familiarise yourself with Bruce Lee is "Dragon...the Bruce Lee Story"

I could write pages upon pages upon pages on this topic. But i won't.Some things are better left as personall experience.I will say this though.Im all for trying anything once, but you have to know, and i mean really know, that you have enough strength of character to realise that even though you are enjoying what you are doing, achieving drug induced euphoria so to speak, that if you continue down that road you are fcuked.I have seen too many of my old friends turn into thieves and muggers or worse, corpses. If you are not 100% sure that you have the willpower to stop what you like doing because you know its doing you harm then don't even think about starting.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Eternal Life

I apologise kakkarot i should have explained it better. Our souls incarnate into human lives to experience what is unique. Human Emotions. Every life we lead, we learn lessons that we need to learn to advance spiritually, whether or not we realise it in any one particular life. We repeat the process over and again untill we have advanced far enough and are fit to return to the Creator which, after all, we are a microscopic reflection of.

This is still a basic explanation, ill will elaborate when i have more time

Ender, i agree that certain musics can assist in various effort bt i peronally strive to be able to meditate anywhere, anytime.I can so far block out mild externall noises by teaching my mind that it is not impotant for me to hear them at that time

Bebelina , your theory is very interesting and probably true.Have you any personal experiences to refenence?

Have you ever considered Jeet Kun Do ? Its the freeflowing system created by Bruce Lee. Now that man had energy!! When i was looking to go into martial arts thats the one i went for but i couldnt find an instructor in my country so i went for Tai Kwon Do instead. I didn't last too long for various reasons but i did find it quite good.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Theories on Predesination
February 21, 2003, 16:31:08
Twasn't a long post at all so dont worry, some of the posts in these forums are pages long.
The way i see predestination is this. Our higher mind ,which is a part of us all even if we don't realise it, knows what we are to do.In fact it chose this life for us to teach us particular lessons or so that we can accomplish specific goals. So without realising it, the choices that we are to make, we have allready forseen and we are on a certain path. The path we are on was our own choosing in the first place and this is how predestination and free will exist harmoniously.

Eternal life, on the other hand, is something all together different and MUST be earned.  It is perfection and never ending progression of intelligence, progeny (family) and love.  It is something too wondeful to be comprehended in this life...

Word up!  [:P]

That is why we re-incarnate over and over, untill we get it right!

This will be VERY bad, but the aftermath will be like spring after a harsh winter.  Something great will come of it.  I can see war then sun afterwards when i close my eyes, and I immediatly think it has to do with something close, it could be my imagination, but I don't think so, it's getting more and more thick now.  CANT YOU FEEL IT?

~Shawn

I feel the same Shawn, it will not be the end of the world but the end of an eon.Question is, who will be left to revell in the sunshine?

At the end of the day all we can do here is speculate and theorise about what may or may not occur.Whatevers going to happen, will happen.I guess Epsilon is right, dont worry about it. Unless of course, you have a part to play.

I dont know about the Russians but isnt it alltogether possible that if/when North Korea attack they will have the full backing of China??

Greetings!

Bush is beginning to realise the depth of opposition against pre-emptive aggression against Iraq, and even if he isn't, PM Tony Blair of the UK most certainly is.

These so called "leaders" risk alienating both themselves and their countries if they do follow through with this ridiculous, self serving folly - not that I think Bush will understand that - Blair certainly does.

I was delighted to see that Blair is re-thinking his stance on this.My biggest fear so far about the war is an attack on sellsfield nuclear plant.Greenpeace did a study on the effects of this happening. They predict that the immediate death toll will be 3.5 million while the overall devastation will be 44times worse than chernoble! With Blair not backing Bush so agressively hopefully the likelyhood of this happening is lessened.

P.S. I live in Dublin so if Sellafield does go my fate will be decided on the wind.Literally
