Is there a site that explains the known realms? Or are they just other names for the Focus levels, right?

Thanks astral I'm def going to give that a try.

But if it is due to anxiety or bad diet, how do I fix this? I'm sure I can still project it's just really annoying to have this happen. Even in waking life it's annoying, so everyone thanks and please give any reccomendations

This could be caused by anxiety.

Ya that's what I was thinking, but it's almost constant unless I'm doing something or just not thinking about it. I don't have the best diet and when I sleep it's usually for like 9 hours so it can't be bad sleep can it?

It really makes it hard to try and project, I guess it's going to be something I gotta get through but if it is anxiety how do I fix it?

But for real is there any explanation. You guys make it sound so easy to figure things out on this forums by just "personal experience", i dont understand what to do lol go OB and just demand to see something?

Ive never been more confused in my life after being on this site for almost a year, not in a bad way at all but i just need answers!

Everytime i end up laying down to consciously project, i notice almost ALWAYS little muscle twitches all through out my body. Theres even the occasional jerk all over my body but that only happens like once every 30 minutes of seriously laying down trying to project.

I just wonder and hope, many of you experience the same because it is VERY annoying trying to ignore these things. It also makes me think something could be wrong with me.

Thoughts please  :-)

What I mean is that while awake in her body in the physical she looked at me and saw my energy body floating around.  All levels of existence are a part of reality so what happened there I think was just a focus overlay.  People see ghosts all the time so why not?  That's essentially what you are while astral projecting.  She said when she opened her eyes after waking up her cat was on the foot of her bed staring intently at a corner of the ceiling, so she looked there too and saw me for a few seconds before I disappeared.  The odd thing is I don't remember actually making it to her house.  That exact location she said she saw me in was where I was arbitrarily aiming for though.  I had just remembered my alarm clock waking me up before I actually got there.  But her mentioning it to me like that was an almost impossible coincidence so I guess a part of me was there for at least a few seconds, or my memory could have been flawed.  That happens all the time, actually most of the time I think for nonphysical experiences.

Can somebody just please explain in detail, im just more confused than ever to who i actually see now in the OB state. Am i just seeing the persons subconcious, or is it actually them? or do i just create the people at the moment.

The reason I must know because my last OB was about an hour long, and it involved me talking to my family members for about half of it. Who the hell was i talking to my actual persons in RTZ or their subconscious? or what

Once while lucid dreaming I visited my friend's house.  She told me later that day that she had seen me floating around her ceiling right after she got up...when she was awake.

like what do you mean, your telling me she actually saw you floating around in reality? i dont understand how thats possible.

How many of you all go visit people you actually know? And have the instances been where you were both aware, and remembered it all after you awoke?

After reading and hearing other people's views on this I'm now more confused about it lol. Like some people say when you talk to or visit people you know, it's just their subconscious. I don't fully get that, does that mean every thing you say or ask them, would be the truth and what they really think?

^exactly

Like honestly I can't describe the feeling you have once you either consciously project or have a lucid dream. It feels so great

What mason ritual was performed on the touchdown of the moon
#36
thats what i was thinking, but really how the bonk did he do it  :?. is this something ill have to wonder for the rest of my life? lol
#37
Lol i just dont get it, and then he goes on talking about how you can do it because the theory how reality could just be an astral world, example used : jesus walking on water.

To be honest, not that long. Maybe an hour at the most, with about 15-20 minutes spent trying to relax myself and my body, and another 10-15 minutes for attempting to form my astral body. Should I be spending longer on it?

Time yourself next time, remember the time you lay down and do your best to stay down till something happens or you feel your wasting your time. But if your laying there for at least an hour, your body should be somewhat asleep and could be experiencing some closed eye visuals, vibrations, etc. Im going to try to project tomorrow once i wake up, im going to at least lay there for an hour and 30 minutes to see if i can actually get a conscious projection for once

Like i said theres experienced people on this forums that can probably project in about 30 minutes, but thats because experience

The dreams i have taunt me, all the time

My dream last night involved me and a few random people that i graduated with from HS, we were trapped in a building and for some reason people were coming up to what i believe "kill us". When i heard these people coming upstairs i sat down in my dream and said "once they come up here and kill me, ill realize im dreaming and then can do what i want!" i waited patiently until these people broke down the door, and woke up right when they entered the room

I dont get why it just didnt hit me that i was dreaming after i said that. lol

In my book that I'm reading at the moment Astral Projection And The Nature Of Reality, he touches on the subject about bringing things back from the astral to the physical. He doesnt have a story himself, but gives an example of what someone can do, example: create a rose and once you've created it, tell yourself that you WILL bring it back. Pretty much intent to, so does anyone have anything to share?
#41
How long do you find yourself laying there trying to project? Because if it's less than an hour I doubt anything can happen unless your already experienced. I have the same problem with trying to relax as you do. Anytime I try and medidate I conicince myself out of it after just 30-40 minutes, thinking I've been laying for hours.

Takes a lot of mind-taming

I see what u guys are saying, I just need to learn more though I guess about how that can be, and why
#43
I wish you could see how stupid you just made yourself look, but that's the fun in life
#44
What's your view on jesus, just to represent to do good and he was a miracle worker?
#45
Well I can say that ever since I first started looking into having OBEs my viewpoint on life has def. Changed and now I'm learning new stuff every day it seems, But at the end of everyday now it seems I'm just confused on what could actually be possible and what isn't. For example after thinking for quite some time on OBEs in general I end up thinking, "how can people be so blind to what the world really is" and then I question what the world really is to me, and it seems I'm just as confused as anyone else could be.

I've only had a few OBEs and theyve been mainly through the form of LD(id say about 10-15 now) but I've had a few instances where I would notice im dreaming then after I'll naturally yell out " I want to experience the healing power or god" or "help me understand god" and even "experience the power of god". The only explanation I can find for me to shout out these things subconsciously and pretty much not in my control is I guess the desire to find out what god actually is, and the world itself actually. On all those occasions ive had, right after I shouted those out i would get a feeling of intense rumbling, and wake up.

I feel like I have a lot to learn, and I just wanted to share that with everyone hoping some people feel the same way

When u said u wake up and just simply focus on counting, I know how that feels because I've done that countless times with no success, if anything I'll be noticeably relaxed, but have just normal closed eye visuals and barley any buzzing. If you think about it counting to 400 exactly that would probably take 30 or so minutes? If so probably another 100-200 would be good to hit that hour mark or something. Idk lol I'm currently trying to fix my problem as well.
#47
Very close, I hate false awakenings so much lol their so convincing at the time

^

Great link that sums it up so well.

The only thing I have to question really now is why when you induce a nonphysical experience you see your body, but when you become lucid in a nonlucid experience you can go to wherever you fell asleep at last, and not see your body.

Which is exactly what I tried to do on my last lucid experience which was around an hour long it seemed. And that was about a month ago and I havent had anything since :(
#49
Question for everyone. Do you always see your sleeping body when you project right after or what?

Ya Ive just had to many odd situations where either someone just out of nowhere tried to punch me, or I've gotten mad at a person and it escalates to us trying to fight.

Also I saw someone say something about teeth Falling out in dreams? Ya I've had that one happen a lot to. Each time I have a dream about fighting someone though it's usually something really random, like a person I've never meet.

For instance I had a dream last night that was just completely random, I was with a coworker I've never even really talked to and we were at a supermarket sitting on a bench. Then out of nowhere what appears to be a bum walks up to me and starts yelling about how he's going to kick my butt? Like wtf
